This topic is all about wip mods from me.
Starting with this Nissan Skyline R32 GTR, which i started while ago but never ended it because of lack of knowledge on the 3dsMax. Some time passed and i decided to restart this work, this time for the win  Some pics of the remodeling so far:

Yesterday work before went to bed
Tinted Windows  Taillights in "LED" style and stock ones (Tinted, Clear and Stock Glass are detachable)    -----    Headlights (Only Glass are detachable in Tinted, Clear and Stock)    Carbon Trunk with detachable badges in both trunks

I only use default textures in alpha + reflection ... But should i use specular instead?
There's the differences between them Specular  Reflection  I actually think Specular looks better, but what do you guys think? |

Back on this bitch niggas!
Well the R32 Sky is finished, just need to export it to slrr and do the script work (makes me feel sick thinking of it) Then i decided to continue some other cars, like this Honda CRX Delsol ... The car is almost complete, just need a few custom parts like bumper lips, carbon parts and so on. PICS:

the scripting/exporting etc is the hard bit
3d is easy! so be prepared to spend 12-16 hours sitting there exporting, changing things and opening your game like a million times.. looks good in max tho

well if you run into problems let me know here in this thread and I'll try to help out
I'd say the best idea is to export everything stock, make it addon, do glows etc - basically finish the WHOLE stock car.. then start adding extra parts which will make it a lot easier on a stable/finished base. |
