Name's Haku as far as I'm concerned, living in South Valo City and been in the main thread for a little over a year at this point. Here's a look at the cars I currently own, though I've sold many many more.

Entrepreneur, Shop Owner, Guy who buys a lot of cars and sells them not long after.

1990 Nissan Silvia S13
w/ NA 2JZ 3.2l

My second car from the threads and purchased from another member, been through 20 major changes at this point but it sits like this for now.

1998 BMW 325i E36 Touring

Just bought recently, will be used to transport bigger items for the job that wouldn't go in a pickup truck.

1986 BMW 635CSi E24

Winter beater on air suspension, nothing too special.

Not much of an update, but haven't been active in over a month so here's a picture of my current daily driver.

Took it out to the desert to put the supercharger to good use, this thing is amazing and despite the dent fuel costs make in my wallet, I'm constantly in love with this thing.

Thanks, and yeah man, all except the E21. E36 is also in pieces in the shop while I'm doing an engine swap, but posted that update in my shop forum.

So I couldn't help myself. Bought a new car.

I bought this thing for V$9,500 and this thing is an absolute bargain because it came with every thing I need to bring it back to it's former glory. Well, except an engine. But there's been some serious time into this car so far and I've got some big plans for this, as well as an engine I've already got ready to go in that I bought for V$1000. What do you think is going in? Not going to be a drag build or even high horsepower build, just something I can slam and drive around while having a great time, but also going to keep it nice and reliable. There has already been a whole coilover setup installed so I'm probably not going to run air suspension, but we'll see what happens because I might want to go too low. Static life?

9500 for this thing? Well, you're kinda rich, but that doesn't mean you should buy overpriced stuff. :D Nice buy anyway, i hope there's not any rust or other problems with it, for a price like this it better be in good condition. And which engine did you buy?

9500 because car has been restored from the ground up so far, everything is basically factory condition. Also had to pay for it to be towed decently far, and comes with a bunch of other pieces including everything missing plus some extra parts I may or may not put on. Finding some of these parts alone are over priced at times and so I didn't mind spending that much. Plus the suspension on this alone costs close to 3000 by itself. Could have bought cheaper but have so many projects in the shop that I don't want to have to spend a lot of time restoring this car. Maybe another, though ;) Also engine will be a K20 as it's a proper engine and for the power to weight, can't go wrong.

It's good if you have all the parts you need, they can be quite expensive. And same for the suspension. I also like your idea about the engine, K20 is powerful and light, my Civic already had one when i bought it. I suppose you will put the Beetle together very quickly, because you have everything you need. :)

Hopefully not too long, starting with engine today but that's what will take the longest with wiring in mind. After that I can start to get body in order and then realistically it SHOULD be ready to drive. But I also have other projects and work to do at my shop so we'll see what happens. K series are fun engines, had a K24 in my old Integra then when I bought it back I put a K20 with K24 head on it. Very fun reliable engines, and can put down very respectable power when built right.

We'll see how it feels at first, but I think turboing it is a bad idea, not trying to go super fast.

Next step in the build of the Beetle.

K20A2 is in, wiring is next, but exhaust is completed with a resonator to keep the noise down a little bit up. So excited to get this thing started up and driving under it's own power. Put the body panels back on to get an idea of how it'll look, but the rears are custom extended fenders that are about 3 inches wider than stock. Can't wait to get this thing on some aggressive wheels and sitting nice and low, but making it drive is first priority. Paint will come after that.

She lives, kind of. A lot of things aren't working, so I've got to sort that tonight, but she will drive and get places. Once everything's sorted I will start wrapping it a new colour to complete the look, then maybe use it to take over daily responsibilities. Not fast but certainly not slow. Hearing a honda engine screaming behind you is a little weird, though. Smashed a stock civic on the way home and he was looking very confused, but that's about the best competition I can have. Now that turbochargers are in my mind I do want to turbocharge this thing, but also want to run the stock K series for a while and get used to it before I throw more power into it. Next post should be of the "completed" car or at least it's first step in being where I want it. Car was lowered all the way around and sits on 16x10 in front and 16x13 rear Vstanced King Cobra deep dishes, wrapped in Toyo Proxes.

When you don't read lmao. I deducted the money for the car and the engine you cheeky guy, but keep going on about whatever you're trying to say, I'm having trouble understanding what you're trying to convey to me. I had about 70k from the 40 days I was inactive, plus my shop, but cheers anyway buddy, try again another time please.

Damn yo! Car's coming together really fast! Last time I saw it it was just a rolling body! Remember my dude, if you need any help let me know, I'll be working overtime at the shop today, got a lot of filing and tuning to be doing.

Totally just bought my ideal AE86 from David on the forums, a Levin Coupe. Love the Levin and even more so as a 2 door.

Just got it off the trailer and into the shop, already starting to search for and order parts as I'm posting this... Really solid car for a solid price, glad this came up when it did as I'd almost bought something much stupider. Once the initial wave of parts comes in and gets applied I will post an update, stay tuned.

(Actually just didn't have the tires you used, only have add on tires so these were the closest profile I could find)

Yeah figured I had brand new tires in the same dimension laying around so maybe I will keep them as drift spares, already to some new wheel ideas for the car though... :D

Went and picked up some parts locally for the AE86 while others are being shipped out to me.

Some guy gave me a really good deal on the Run Free bumper & skirts for V$450 in total, since they're used and he doesn't have the full kit anymore anyway, he just wanted to get rid of these few pieces left sitting around.

Got a set of 4 17" Volk TE37s used for V$1400 because rears had really bad curb rash. Going to refurbish them before I put them on the car, plus they won't fit like this anyway.

Car was also raised to get on the trailer home, but coils are now maxed out. Front camber is excessive because I wanted to see how much it'd take to fit them on the wide fenders David had on the car. Probably going to be cutting the stock fenders that came with and fitting over fenders. Sorry if I'm making you wince, David. If so, look away. Also engine mods are on the way, this car is really sound, took it around the block a couple times last night and was loving it. Thanks for selling it to me man, can't wait to have fun with it.

Another update on the AE86, last night I got to pick up a big order from Techno Toy Tuning. Overnight shipping is great.

ITB Trumpets, TRD oil filter, Toda Cams, Toda Cam belt, Toda Clutch and Flywheel, Koyorad Radiator, and a few other goodies they sent me.

Not pictured are Wilwood brakes, front and rear slotted and drilled rotors, and I'm keeping the TE37s because the new brakes barely fit under the 17"s as it is.

Spent the entire night with some friends putting everything in and getting it running nicely. Just woke up, about to tune it all and then there's a late night no cage required drift even that I'm going to with a bunch of my drifting friends and I'm gonna see how this thing gets sideways, and also what the next steps will be for making it get more sideways.

In total everything cost me V$1970

Brought the 86 to that drift even and had so much fun sliding it. Feels so great and doesn't need much more work for the moment, but the ebrake felt a little loose so I'm going to be fixing that today, as well as installing some more goodies that I got in the mail. Loving this car and so glad to be back drifting on the track.
