Oh so you near Nikko? I myself live near Tsukuba, around 1-2 hours from Nikko. I also have visited Nikko several times and I absolutely enjoying it! :D
Glad the S14 has been road tested and finally receiving it's front bumper again! :D

I might have to go to Sazan one day, heard the view around there is great and air is cool!

GOING OUT FOR A TEST DRIVE

I was excited to burn the fresh rubber I got from the last week so I head down to one of the closest circuts to me, legendery Nikko circut. I'm also not sure how good suspention setup is since I haven't adjusted any of camber/caster (unless front camber which I pretty much maxed out to negarive side).

Good old zenki wheel was worn and bent in hot summer days and was giving its last breaths, I stopped by my sweet UpGarage to get a wheel, this fake sparco wheel with adapter was hanging onto the shop's wall, and I got a deal for it tho! Only 1.100 yens! (Which is roughly 100$) It just feels decent and gets the job done!

I gotta admit, this was fun! 2nd gear corners were ok but 3rd gear corners really wanted me to go full thortlle and clutch kick all the way, esspecially the back straight. I had to manji that straight 3 times to link 2 corners! I had to sit in the car and get calm time to time but you can be sure brakes were smoking C: .

Suprising enough, wheels barely even rubbed! Not in a bad way, but in a smokey way C: .

3 DAYS LATER

I head down to south and drove 4 hours to Southern Sazan Circut to see a event, participating to it wasn't in my plans and a blue car caught my eyes in the pit area...

Akinobu Satsukawa's legendary R32 Sedan! It was so cool to see his R32 next to mine! And, as you might expect, it was lower than mine!

MINI UPDATE: REAR END OVERHAUL

Car was pretty dialed in under the skin but I think I have to dial its cosmetics step by step too, found some kouki taillights I was digging for a while and got a deal for it, also bought a fart can and cleaned the rear end from some bits here and there. Like oem zenki spoiler and antenna. Did a little weld on holes, sandpapered them and then throw some body filler over them, then sand it once more and ta-dah! Now it looks better shape wise, gonna paint the whole car in the near future anyway.

Also front bumper is back on! had to chop some piping and mounted it to the back of the front crashbar, now there is room for an actual front bumper!

Stay tuned!

Glad that you managed to put the bumper back on! The stock wing was alright but if you're going for a more simple and clean look go ahead. I wonder what its new paintjob will be!

MINI UPDATE 2: I'M BROKE PLEASE SEND HELP

Last 2 weeks was a bit boring. I drove R32 daily but didn't touched s14 that much. I thought it was time to add some details here and there before the big update. And these details include:

...window stickers (inclouding an d1sl banner I edited a bit before printing), origin roof spoiler and...

...a second hand bride seat.

stay tuned...

Damn that s14 looks clean, i love zenkis for that, koukis are too aggresive for me. I like that r32 sedan daily, most people rather make it a drift car pretty unique with rb20 too.

IT'S TIME

I told you to stay tuned right? This was the reason. I was trying to get some quid to get some nice body kit. I didn't wanted to go with something usual like d-max, vertex or bn sports. I tried to get inspired from mid to late 00's d1sl series. Therefore I went with uras' type gt kit.

Kit came to my garage near 10.30 am...

... and I finished bolting the kit on at like 16.00 pm, these uras kits definetly worths the money. Bumper's fitment to the car was top notch I gotta admit. Nice thing about them is the fact that stock signals fit just right in. I got rear plate mounted quickly but I just put the front plate behind the windsheild becouse (txr3 vibes lol jk) I didn't wanted to drill that brand new, smooth and clean front bumper just yet... Might roll like this for a while idk.

After I put the kit on, I quickly hopped in the car to go to a touge route I like, not to drift but to take pics of this beauty...

Weather was a bit foggy but city lights did the trick anyway! So proud out of this car ngl.

JUST A BIT MORE COSMETICS

Yeah I really ignored S14 for past few weeks, since I'm building some more dough I think it is time to move on slightly...

First thing you might see is the eyelids, they are out of a sheet of plain white wrap, so it really cost nothing, I also think it really suits the style of the car.

Other thing that my catched your attention is some purple rims on the back, these are 17x9J Gram Light 57c6 wheels with 205/35/17 tyres wraped around them. I bought them as used since I really trust Rays' quaity. I also bought just a pair. I think other pair had some issues with concrete walls : D .

Since we talking about back, I bought a ings+1 spoiler and found a huge ass uras sticker in the box that kit came with and I just slapped it on taillights. I thing car is getting there.

DON'T TELL TO MR. POLICEMAN

I had to do a little trip to inner Yokohama last week, I got my job done like 11 p.m. but I just wanted to go to docks and make some quick hoons : D .

I don't know Japan's polices love donut or not but left some anyway : D...

...but also overheated my engine, I think it is becouse there is no oil cooler, or might be from the fact that I haven't changed the oil since I bought the car. I'm gotta pull the engine and take a look at it anyway :(.

At least I got some cool shots huh.

The eyelids and wings suits the car very well, I love them! :-X

Also get yourself an oil cooler man, it has to survive multiple drift days after all!

Ayy man damn i really enjoy how that eyelids and wing looks, it sets everything into one piece :D New wheels are just drift spares i guess. I hope you didn't send your engine into pieces with that bit of action but i don't think so, it's an sr after all lol.

MINI UPDATE: ENGINE CONDITION

After that dock drifting action and overheat thing, I felt car was feeling low on power, so when I got the car into the garage, I pulled the engine and inspected a little bit, drained oil and found bunch of metal pieces on oil plug, which wasn't good, so I took a quick look under the head itself. Turns out pistons got fucked and block's bores got all scratched up, which means this bottom end goes to the fucking bin. I have 2 options right know:

1) I can disamble the bottom end, machine the block and rebuild it with new bearings, rods and pistons.
2) I can just say "fuck it" and buy an oem short block, slap the old head and continue to drive.

I haven't made a choose yet, but I am planning on fixing it 'till next week. Either way car will be faster and stronger.

This is how car sits right know by the way:

Damn bro, that's sad, but hey, maybe time for fully built bottom end hihe
But hey, if mot, just slap a DE short block and slap the head on it, and it will be rolling again!
If you do this, get a S13, S14 or Bluebird SR, because they got lower compression than the s15 one, so moar boost.
And please, CHANGE THE OIL and get an oil cooler, please lol
Keep it up!

Oh man that's a big bummer that yo blew the sr :( If you want i have whole sr blue top i can sell you the block only if you want to or like lend for the time you get a new one. Either way if you want i can help you. Hope you get it back driving again man, but hey you could destroy everything at least it's only block.

Welp sad to see the S14 went out from the action from a while :(
I was going to say get a billet block, but then I saw your wallet so that might be not the best of ideas :))

I'd say I agree with Franklin, get an S13/S14 DE block. Or if you have time, machining it might work as well
