That was a really nice small but significant meet right there!

And the 180SX seems to have a lot of potential :)

Finally, New Update!

Sorry for not doing update in so much time, I was quite busy with school and personal things, I did not have time to edit, write, make photos, etc.
But now, here is an update of what happened at the Inauguracion de SLP (April 6) and a couple of other things, enjoy.
DISCLAIMER: in the cars of the guests there are a couple of errors of parts that are not correct, and in some photos of my car, so please excuse me.

April 6, 2019

Today is a beautiful day, and very exciting,
because it is the inauguration of SLP Tokyo, a project that we had with my boss,
so I took the Supra, which is the star of SLP and we went to the workshop
By the way, I needed to change my rear tires for some slicks to have a bit more grip.

I already said it and I say it again, I LOVE the handling ans sensations that this car has,
the kick to the chest that it gives you when the turbo is making boost, and the way it drives, it's beautiful

20 minutes later I arrived at the workshop and I started to wash the Supra.
Here're some pornographic shots, so gorgeous.

20 minutes later i heard an RB at full blast around the block, and obviously you know who is...

It was mackay in its R34 with more carbon fiber than the nasa, and with 1500hp under the hood.
My big friend and a little rival hehe.

Me : Heyyyy wassup buddy? I heard you 2 blocks away, how is it goin?
Mackay : Haha, she's loud, all good for now, and you?
Me : Very good, excited for this day.
Mackay : Yeah, me too. hey at around 2 yo can go to wangan? for testin' both cars, if u know what i mean...
Me : Of course, also today i will be changin' the rear tyres for some slicks.
Mackay : Damn, that Sup will be glued to the pavement, maybe you can outrun the 90-100hp difference
Me : Maybe, maybe...

Later i took some pornographic shots, sorry big boss (again)

Later he says to me "Hey, you wanna go hoonin'?
We get up in the 34 and went sicko mode.

Me : Hey mack, around three blocks there's a roundabout, so I think you know what I'm going ...
Mack : Oh yea? We're going over there...

We arrived to the roundabout and he started his business...

Later of that little hooning we arrived to to the shop and sit outside
while we were drinkin' some beers and chattin

(clicc)

Me: Dude, your 34 is incredible, i love it
Mack : Thank you, now it's pushing 1500hp
Me : 1500?! DAMN
Mack : Yeah hehe, it's a lot, Now i'm waiting for some parts for the car...
Me: Which ones?
Mack: A new carbon hood, front and rear splitter, past week i changed the doors and wheels.
Me : Nice choice, that 34 is going full diet hehe
Mack: Thanks, thats th... Wait wait a minute, do you heard that?
Me : what?
Mack : I'm listening to a 1JZ very close, maybe a couple of blocks away, and it's coming full blast
Me: I think I know who he is

I was preparing the camera to take a picture in case something happens, and this happened

Out of nowhere Niatross passes by skidding and jumping the unevenness of the workshop entrance
And started doing donuts while he was bangin' the rev limiter of his 650 1JZ VVTI Powered A70.

Niatross : Heyyyy wassu...
Mack : You're crazy?! You almost killed us.
Niatross : Chill, sorry
Me : Wassup man? That jump was scary, you almost killed us, but it was awesome, i have a pic
Niatross : Yeeeeaaaaah dude, hey, i have a text of Biggie, he will arrive soon.
Me : Great, also that supra is always lookin' neat dude
Niatross : Not so much, a mf broke my rear window, but is allright, my insurance will pay the fix
Me : Shit dude, but hey, at least he didn't stole nothin.

Later i took some more pornographic shots...

Later of that we started launching our cars in front of the workshop, i went first

Mack second

Niatross/Muzahid third

Me : holy fuck, i love this smell of burnt rubber and gasoline
Mack : Me too, nice launches

And like an hour later, Biggie arrived in his beautyful Track day Evo 3

Me : Heyyyy biggie, wassup?
Biggie : Wassup man? How's it goin?
Me : Very good, excited for today, you missed the hooning with mackay and muzahid
Biggie : Fuck, what happened?
Me : Muzahid jumped the entrance of the shop and started making donuts, Mackay went to a roundabaut and started drifting and we launched our cars
Biggie : Fuckkkkkk
Me : Don't worry, at 2 am we will go to wangan, i don't think that the evo can keep up, so you will be sidekick in the Supra
Biggie : HELL YEA

Later we entered the cars and took some more photos, also my slicks arrived so yea...

Later, at 2 am we were going to wangan

Me : Biggie, get in
Mack : Today we will going to wangan, there will be people raing at extra high speeds, like us
Me : So, we need to be careful and be concentrated, we don't wanna die
Mack : Also, only take pics when we are going relatively slow, ok?
Me : Yup
Biggie : Yea
Niatross : Aight

So later of that we went to wangan, here're some pics

There were very good races that night, Mackay beat me, although by very little.
Then several cars arrived, we made a couple of bets.
Mackay won like $1500
I won something of $850
And niatross about $350
So it was a good night ...

April 6, 2019

Well guys, it's been a while since the meeting, although not much happened, but at the same time something important happened.

The supra is unchanged, the last were the slicks that cost me something of $ 500,
They cost a good money but it's worth it, because now the car handles perfect and those tyres solved the grip problem I had a while ago.

The gtt, had no changes, just routine maintenance, is a good daily but I'm a little afraid to use it
because it is in such good condition, but hey, maybe buy a car soon for coins and use it as daily without fear.

A couple of days ago I received my monthly payment of $ 7500 so I'm quite happy, and with some of that money I bought something interesting ...

Hey, what's that? ...

Yep, it's mine

(clicc for more enjoyment)

1991 Nissan 180SX

This is the new drift project!

It's a 91 Nissan 180sx, it was an Ebisu practice car.

It's pretty banged up, but now doesn't matter so much

This car got a swapped SR20DE instead of the CA18DE, even if it runs just fine, it lacks power, so engine swap soon.

Mismatched wheels and panels, cheap coilovers, cut knuckles

The interior is semi stripped, quickrelease steering wheel, hydro ebrake, half rollcage, etc

Although this pretty banged up, is in all in good condition to have been self-practice.
I bought it for $ 2500, pretty good price.

My plan is to make a professional drift car.
Interior with full cage (this car has a half cage), engine swap, a bodykit, new suspension with a new anglekit, graphics, etc etc etc.

A car with which I can compete in events and perfect myself, that's my plan, now I'm trying to figure out a 1JZ, which is a very easy swap in everything, 326power coils, anglekit, new parts of the outside, etc. etc.

It will be an important project, stay tuned.

Good to see that you're driving your Supra like you should! That 180 is just the typical drift missile but it definitely has potential to become a pro drift car. 1JZ is not the usual choice for that kind of build but it will do the trick if you won't go for crazy amounts of power. I once helped to 1JZ swap a 180 too, there was plenty of cutting and welding to do but we made it fit perfectly. Anyway, make it good man! :D

Thank youuu ziga <3
Yeah, i try to use it quite often bc it's a proyect that i dreamed for so much time, so i want to enjoy it
And about the 180, isn't that bad like the typical drift missile, well maybe yes, but just got mismatched panels, a banged up quarterpanel, cheap tail lights and broken bumpers, also the semistripped interior, well yeah it's a drift missile lmao
Now for the engine, nah i don't want crazy hp, i want something like reliable 600's or something like that
I need an inline 6 for the torque, i kinda want a v8 but idk bc the best options are 3uz or LS, and if i put an ls, you know, it will be a little salty hehe
And i don't want too much the rb25, idk why.
So yeah, i'm searching for engines, maybe today i will drop the 180 in SLP and starting to strip it and selling the good parts, checking the SR and if it's good, just i will sell it, etc.

Yeah, i did it again...

I think I have an addiction.

As you know, I'm always looking for something cheap to use as a daily, or some car at a very good price to resell, and out of nowhere I found this ...

A 2 owner 98 'Toyota Altezza RS200 (SXE10) with the BEAUTIFUL 6-speed manual gearbox, 92000km,
with an aftermarket muffler, in excellent condition, for $ 1500,
This was at the same price as an automatic with twice as many kilometers, and more rough.
This car could easily sell for 4500 or 5000.
I could not believe it, so call the dealership that sold it, I went to see it immediately, and well, here they have it in my house.
( btw if u don't believe it, here's the sauce : *LINK* )

(clicc for more enjoyment)

I can believe the hell of a deal that i got, this car is perfect
92000km, the body great, the paint needs a detail but nothing major

Interior also needs cleaning, but isn't torn up

Engine runs great, the transmission is smooth and precise

Suspension is great, tires are good, also the brakes

This was the HOMERUN OF THE YEAR, Great deal, now i need to change the fluids, brake pads, detail the interior and exterior
And is ready for sale, 4500-5000, i think that is a good price for a 92000km Manual RS200 in such good condition.

So beautyful.

That's a great find my man! :D
There are a lot of cars in Japan that indeed sold for quite cheap. You mmight end up scavenging for a lot of them for an entire day like I did! :))

Looking at the pictures and the mileage it looks like the Altezza has lived as a garage queen for most of it's lifetime, so the engine should be very healthy and only require oil change and minor to no fixes :D
It's something you should probably keep ;)

And yeah, I know you might be going to restore and tune the car for sale later, but trust me, this is a great daily material. Could be used as track/drift toy as well, just like my Evo ;)

EDIT: But if you're indeed going to sell it, put that in Classifieds as well. Surely would be a buyer magnet :D

Thank youuuu, i found it at the moment, called the dealership, checked it and it's so good, it was a great deal.
It's great for daily, but it's too nice for me, and also i bought it so cheap and the profit is so good that will be a no brainer to keep it, and also i need money for #sxproject so yea, if i pick up a daily , will be those mark 2 that are for 900 or less, so if i crash it or scrape it or damege it, i dont give a damn.
If i crash this altezza, although i lost 1500, the car lost the value and i'm without profit, so i will do maintenance, drive it a bit for checking if it got any problems, and sell it

This is the homerun of the year for me.

Added 1 hour 37 minutes later:

Guys, i recently finished the oil change, coolant, filters, brake pads and cleaning.
No pics for obvious reasons.
All the things for the maintenance and the cleaning cost me like 200$
So now, i will put this tezza on sale.

9800 - 200 = 9600

Added 14 minutes later:

Altezza:
FOR SALE

Car : Toyota Altezza RS200
Year : 1998
Color: Gray/Black
Mileage : 92000km
Engine : 3SGE Beams
Transmission : 6-Speed Manual
Modifications : Only aftermarket muffler
Comments : Excellent condition, new fluids, brake pads, good tires,
Runs excellent, 2 owner car, never smoked in, passed inspection recently.
Price : $5000 obo

Guys, I'm surprised.

I just sold the altezza.

I published it to see if they were interested, but I was hoping that in a matter of one or two days I would just have offers, over haggling.
And out of nowhere I would find that a while ago the user Buzzsaw told me that he was taking it, that he would pay the 5000.

I'm impressed, I did not want to sell it so fast, but hey, the opportunity was given, and thanks to that I made $ 3300 profit.

I will miss this car, the short time that i had it, it was very nimble and fast, i liked it a lot
Maybe for a future Autocross build i will pick up one of these, idk.

Next month I will surely buy another car to resell, so I get money for #sxproject, now I will look for some very cheap daily to use quietly.

Bye tezza.

Yeah, that's great, in USA is a pain in the ass bc of the dealer plate, takes, etc.
And also i saw a guy who got problems in Del City, Oklahoma for that, so here in japan i'm more free to flip cars.
But i won't be doin' it all day, maybe once per month, bc i need to flip cars for earning money for #sxproject.
So yea

A little surprise...

2/5/19, Slp workshop, Tokio, Japan.

Today, taking advantage of the fact that the workshop was empty, I decided to take the 180 to start disarming it, but since this week I will be very busy with several things, I will leave them to disarm them as far as they can and then we will see what to do.

This will be the last time you will see the 180 missile as you know it.

Well, changing the subject, after leaving the 180, at approximately 5 in the afternoon, I took an uber to the airport, you ask, what for?

Well, I'm going to the United States for a week, specifically to Oklahoma, to visit my friends from Side to Side,
The Korea gang and my buddies in Tokyo (Niatross and Biggie), We have a lot of things for next week. good to do, track days, drift events, etc.

But I'm sure you will tell me: You need a car for that, calm down, I've got it covered ...

An 02' Mustang GT V8 M/t, Good condition with 150.000 miles,
This car will be the budget drift car
I bought it for 2800$.

And this 03' Volkswagen Jetta GLI VR6 6speed manual, good condition,
200.000 miles with some check engine lights, no big deal
I bought it for the copart buy it now price of 725$
This will be the track car.

So, yeah, those are the cars that i will use next week.
When i arrive i need to mod them for the races.
So right now 5/2 i'm in Tokyo Airport writing this part of the update
A 15-hour trip awaits me, see you soon.

3/3/19, 9:00 am.

I just got off the plane, I'm tired, and I told the boys to come and pick me up.

10:00 am.

I'm already in Side to Side garage, and my God, I'm impressed, the quality of the cars is incredible

Ziga's Supra is tremendous, although I have not modified it, it is an incredible car with a very interesting story, I love it

Huge slicks in the back, 1300hp Turbo 2JZ, ALSO HAS A FUCKING PARACHUTE, HOW BADASS IS THAT?.

his 3SGE AE86 is also gorgeous, it is a perfect machine, light, powerful and very agile, perfect for drifting.

Also a very neat Chevelle

.

R32, EVO, Drag SC300.
This place is amazing, not counting the beasts of the korea gang

Soju's Supra is mindblowing, the amount of carbon fiber that this car has is incredible, it is b64f4509.png

And the SR20DET E36 is beautiful, perfect for Autocross and Gymkhana ...

Now we just have to wait for my cars for the events of these days, it is assumed that today or tomorrow will arrive, we will see what's going on.

Yea mane, i missed my old place dude
I wanted to come back for visiting my family but SLP had me too busy, now that the thing is chill i can take some vacations lol.
Also i wanted to buy shitboxes for the trip,
For avoiding importing my car and wait months and months, so also avoiding renting a car.
so, now i'm the proud (i guess) owner of a 02 V8 SN95 and a 03 VR6 Jetta GLI with more miles than dents and service lights.
Now you need to pick up a car for the shitbox trackday!
And a drifter, if u want we can search in Copart for some cheap ones...

The American Dream, i guess...

May 3, 2019, 11:30 p.m.

We were out of the workshop, eating barbecue and drinking beer with the boys, talking about our projects, our lives, the trip to the USA, etc.
Ziga: Hey Frank, how was the trip?

Me: Quite exhausting and tiresome, 15 hours are not a little, added to the stress of the airport, and other things,
but I was very excited to come here, return to my lands and get to know this place.

Ziga: I'm glad you liked it, what did you think of our projects?

Me: I have not seen things like this for a long time, except for the 86 and the Supra, I was very intrigued to see them
but the rest of the time, I did not see things like the LS silverado, the chevelle, the sc300, they are things that are not there is in Japan,
well, the sc300 if it is like the Soarer, but a sc300 for drag I have not seen there, and the truth is that I love them.

Ziga: I'm glad you liked it, I hope you bring your Supra for a friendly drag battle! Hahaha

Me: Maybe I did, I wanted to do it but I could not do it because it's still illegal until next year,
And I'd like to register it here so we can use it.

Ziga: I understand, you could bring it without registering it but if you discover it in the port, you're fucked

Me: Exactly, and I do not want to lose that car, it's very special, besides that I leave a ton of money in it.

Ziga: It would be a shame if that happened, at least you bought a couple of cars,

Me: Yes, a 02 'Mustang GT and a 04' Jetta GLI VR6

Ziga: Good choice!
Me: Thank you, today at night or tomorrow they will have to arrive.
On another topic, Muzahid, sorry I could not say hello, but Happy Birthday friend, I see that here you received very well with your birthday gift.

Muzahid: Thanks Frank, yes, it was a very unexpected surprise, but very perfect.

Me: I imagine, that bmw is beautiful, ah, I have a gift for you ...

Muzahid: Where is it?

Me: I left it in the office, a big box,
don't open it until we are with you...

Muzahid : Okay

Me : Guys, come in.

We went to the office and we let him to open the box, the guys also don't know what i gave to Muza...

Me: 3, 2, 1, OPEN THE DAMN BOX

Muzahid: NO SHIT, ARE YOU SERIOUS? A GODDAMN TURBO UPGRADE?

Me: Happy birthday! Here you got two Stage 2 TD04RS Billet Turbos, they are capable of 730hp max with the adequate mods...

Muzahid: I can not believe it, thanks Frank!

Me: That's not all, keep checking, there are more boxes inside ...

Muzahid: This must be a joke, did you also give me an AEM Standalone?

Me: Of course, you need a good ecu to tune this bmw, and that's not all, keep looking

Muzahid: Also a Wideband AEM, a Front mount intercooler, fuel rail and injectors, my God, brother, you went to hell! Thank you.

Me: It's not all, one more thing is missing

Muzahid: There is a letter

Letter: "Muzahid, I wanted first of all to wish you happy birthday my friend, practically a brother,
thank you for always being from the beginning, for the moments lived.
And since I knew that the guys gave you that beautiful bimmer, I wanted to give you some little gifts to make it spicy!
Do not worry about what it costs all this, it's your gift, or gifts, I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you for your brother, happy birthday.
Frank".

Muza: I'm fucking crying, thank you dude, thanks for all this and for all that I've lived.
Now get me a towel before I kick your ass, I do not want you to see me cry lol.

Yes, I gave him a lot of parts for the bmw to Muzahid, but they know that he deserves it.
He is a tremendous friend who was always there, with whom he spent many good times, so take this opportunity to give him a good gift.
I spent like 3500 dollars in parts, but i don't care, is for Muza...

After that we keep chatting until I get a call

Me: Frank on the phone, who speaks?
Call: It's the transporter, I'm in Oklahoma, where is the workshop?
Me: It's in *******************
Call: Ok, I'll be there in a little while, the Jetta has the dead battery so they'll have to push it.
Me: Ok, we're waiting for you.

10 minutes later we see the truck arrive.

Me: Hey, how are you? I'm Frank.
Chris: Nice to meet you, my name is Chris, let's see how to get the cars down, the mustang turns on, the jetta is dead
Me: Ok, let's get down the Mustang, and then we push the Jetta.

5 minutes later...

Me : Finally, the cars are here, how much i need to pay?
Chris : 500 dude.
Me : Okay, there you have, thank you.

The cars are finally in the workshop, I'm excited,

The mustang is in beautyful condition, runs great, and sounds AWESOME.
Here's a sound clip for you guys

And the Jetta, well the body is good, we put the stang battery and started, it runs good,
But it got the check engine light and some more, We think it's because the car ran out of battery, and the computer went crazy,
because we reviewed the codes and most said they failed by power cut.
we deleted them and only the check engine was left for two codes: a converter failure Catalytic and maintenance alert, nothing out of the ordinary.

I'm stoked!

May 4th, 2019. 6:00am

Today there is a drifting event in the city, I will take advantage of the mustang.
So I try it as it behaves, but first I will have to go with Biggie to the scrapyard to buy wheels and tires that serve us.

Me: Hey biggie, I need wheels and tires for the mustang, for today's event, can we go in the Silverado?
Biggie: No problem, come on.

Me : Dude, this silverado is nice, also runs like a beast
Biggie : Thank you, i'm also surprised, but this truck haul ass with this ls

Me : Dude, i want so hard a truck now, and i need it for hauling my stuff and cars

Biggie : What are you thinking
Me : I always loved the F150 Lightning and the Dodge Ram SRT10 2 door since i was a child
And i want somethin like that, but they're so hard to find in good condition, damn.

Biggie : I understand you bro, maybe one day you will get it

7:00 am

We picked up the drift wheels and tyres, i spent around $250 to buy 4 wheels and tires,
Which will be useful for these days, also i checked the Mustang, the fluids are perfect, the brakes are fine, the suspension is soft but it's okay,
no leaks, the body and the chassis are great, so we're very good here.

btw biggie, i love this truck mane.

8:00 am

We left the cars ready for today

I've changed the battery of the Jetta for $ 30, i checked the fluids, brakes, and all was fine for driving today.
And I told my girlfriend to take the Jetta as a backup car, in case the mustang breaks or I'm so idiot to destroy the mustang...

I cleaned up the Mustang, made the last check to the engine, brakes, suspension and all was ready 2 go

Damn that this motherfucker looks badass

Also i hooned a little in the workshop, sorry Ziga, the mustang smelled a crowd and went full "omae wa mou shindeiru"
And we get into business...

The mustang drove so fucking good, it does not have a problem
The engine feels good, the transmission feels smooth and precise, the suspension is soft but nothing out of the ordinary, it is perfect.

The Jetta, oh boi, i'm surprised, my girlfriend said to me that the car drove perfect,
No rattles, no problems, the engine was strong, the transmission was as smooth as a baby ass, suspension was good, and it got good power, i'm surprised.

And also went to Mexico to hoon a little lol.

8:20am

We arrived to the track, all the cars were fine and ready.
I paid my 60$ for the inscription and like 150$ in gasoline for the entire day, swapped the wheels and ready to go!
Here are some pics

The car behaved really good, also take note that is an N/A 190RWHPish V8 2V 17 year old Boat with stock suspension.
The car needs suspension and angle kit, also needs a hydro ebrake and a update of the brakes, a short shifter and MORE POWER.
But today the car behaved really good, so far so good, now i have to get back to home.

4:30pm

The cars drove like it was another day, the mustang drove EXCELLENT, and the Jetta...
Perhaps it has almost 200k miles, it ran and drove like it was new, incredible. But now i have to prep the cars for some mods

May 7, 2019. 7:30 p.m.

It's been several days since Drift Day, and I want to tell you that the modifications to the Mustang have already started, here is a Photoshoot

Although at first glance it looks the same, there were several changes.
I bought a set of adjustable Coilovers in height and hardness with camber / caster plates for 800 $.
Which gives the height, rigidity and the camber I need, now it is handled so beautiful ,
Also i put an Hydro E-brake (it cot me 200$) with some like $150 dual caliper setup, now i can lock better the rear wheels.

LOOK AT THAT CAMBER DUUUUDE

This car is so beautyful and it handles better than ever, i love it!
Soon i will be putting a bucket seat and some other thing for making it better.
Also the jetta need some mods for track day, maybe some cheap coils and other shit, but that will be next time.
Now,i want to enjoy the Mustand, so until lext time, see you soon guys...

The Msutang looks so,so handsome even in stock form! You've scored yourself a legendary stuff :D
And I'm sure the Jetta has a lot of potentials we could dig in and retrieve ;)

Also I'm glad you like the Silverado :))
Fast trucks are indeed a rare breed these days, so even for me having an LS7 is quite a mad recipe to create a homemade one

Yeah, indeed, fast trucks are too rare now, only the raptor, god, i miss the 90s and early 00's
Sthe cars in that time were so experimental, i love em, but hey, maybe next time...

The turbo upgrade kit was YET ANOTHER unexpected asf surprise for me!
730 is a VERY HEALTHY number to say the least. im probably gonna tune it down to 600 for reliability purposes though

Aaaanyways, thank you very much for the gift! much appreciated :-X
Oh and AYE ANOTHER SN95 around! Love how it looks ngl. Simple white but with tasteful additions of aggressiveness!
The Jetta is pretty much a blank slate too. Pumped to see progress on these cars ;)

Welcome to the jungle (ぁイダ意)

Hi guys, it's been a long time since the last update, and a lot has happened, so let's update on everything.

Friday, May 17, 3:00pm

After having been with the Oklahoma crew for two weeks and a half, a track day event that i went in 15 and 16th
(all the info and photos are in Big Smoke Roleplay)
I had to say goodbye to them to take a trip with my girlfriend to our hometown (San Diego, California) to see our families and friends.

(Before this, I sold the jetta for $ 2000)

Me: Well guys, Thanks for everything, I've had a great time with you.

Ziga: Thanks to you for coming, if you go back to U.S.A, call me and stop by here ...

Me: I will, thank you

Ziga: Be careful on the road, call me when you arrive.

After this talk, we embarked on a 20-hour trip to San Diego.

We drove the first stage dividing every 5 hours until El paso, TX, where we spent the first night.

Saturday, 18th May. 12:00pm

The next day we started the second stage.
We made the same tactic of dividing the trip every 5 hours, until finally, although quite tired
at 10pm we arrived in San Diego (do not take photos because we arrived very tired at my parents' house, it was also a family moment)

Sunday, 19 May 10:00am

Today, some of my friends of High School call me to hang out.
*cellphone rings*

Me : Hi?
Josh : Duuuuuuuude wassup?
Me : Josh, you piece of shit, wassup? It's been a long time
Josh : Yeah, also i see that you are a legend now, hehe
Me : Why?
Josh : We heared the crazy shit that you do in Japan, and damn that we are proud
Me : Thank you dude, when the supra turns 25 i will bring it here man
Josh : Good idea, hehe, in another topic, Jessica said to me that you are in town
Me : Yeah, i arrived last night
Josh : You wanna hang out? Nick will be here too, we will be going to Autocross, you wanna get in?
Me : Sure, like in the old times, you still live in your old house?
Josh : Yea dude, so you know how to come? Hehehehe
Me : Yea yea, i see you in 20 minutes.

20 minutes later i arrive.

And oh boi, the cars that they had ...

I arrive and see a Toyota Corolla SR5 converted to AE86

With a redtop 4AGE with AE101 ITB's, Toda Camshafts, Toda exhaust, Toda high compression pistons, standalone ecu

Suspension modified and set for Autocross with 14' watanabes

Gutted interior, with cage, fire fighting equipment, gauges, etc.

And a Dodge Neon SRT-4, which looks stock but has coilovers, tires, brake upgrades and repro to 280hp, in addition to exhaust and intake.

Me : Duuuuuuuudes , wassup?
Josh : Heeeeey frank, how are you doin'? it's been a long time
Nick : Yeah dude, you're a legend now who forget their ol' friends? hehe
Me : Never nick! I have been really busy with japan shit, but now i'm here for a week, so yeah
Josh : Hehe, at least now we can go to Autocross like in the old times
Me : Yeah! Btw, nice rides dudes, which one is yours?
Josh : The SR5 is mine, the SRT-4 is Nick's car
Me : I see, nice rides
Josh and nick : Thank you, nice Mustang
Me : Thank you, is more like a drift car but maybe will be okay in Autocross
Josh : I think so.

After a long time of talking, eatin' and prepping the cars, we went to Autocross, here are some photos

Me : Damn, that was fun, your cars are really fast in this tricky course
Josh : Thank you, your mustang, even if it's a boat
the car behaved very well on this track, you made the perfect modifications.
Me : Nick, i really like your SRT-4
Nick : Thank you, i love your stang
Me : Now that I think about it, I would need a good daily
A good daily to use every time I come to the US, so I do not know ...
Nick : You wanna trade it?
Me : You read my mind.

After doing the correct paperwork, we traded the cars.

Now i'm the proud owner of a 03' Dodge Neon SRT-4
tbh, i never thought that i will've proud of owning a Neon, but this one, i love it.

Here's some photoshooting...

Also at the same time, i received a call...

*phone rings*

Me : Frank here, whats'up?
Matsumoto : Matsumoto here, we have good and bad news at the shop
Me : Tell me now
Matsumoto : The good news are that the Supra is done, new center lock wheels, the new intake and the new tyres
Me : Great, and what's the bad news?
Matsumoto : Apart from the cost of the supra mods, the 180 is screwed, the chassi, the floor pans, the body, it's very screwed
Me : You can't fix it?
Matsumoto : We can, but it's worth it? I don't think so.
Me : Fuck, okay, part it out, sell the good parts and scrap the rest.
Matsumoto : And about the project?
Me : Find another car, 4 grand max.
Matsumoto : Okay, we will call you back when i got it.
Me : Fine, goodbye.

The sxproject is screwed, so we need to start with another car.

After that call i went with my girlfriend to my parents house, to be in family and talk about our lifes.

Sunday 26' May, 5pm

After giving me a good rest in my hometown, visiting my old friends and enjoying my family, today I return to Japan.

Monday, May 27th, 5:00am

After a long trip, we arrived to home and get in the bed
After waking up, having breakfast and getting ready to go to work, I saw that matsumoto left the supra in the garage...

It looks great, right?

The modifications made were.

Hyperlock HL-06S 18 'wheels witn Dunlop Direzzas, Ap racing BBK

New upper and lower control arms, anti roll bar, HKS hypermax IV coilovers

And a new turbo intake headlight.

These new changes and modifications greatly improved the behavior of this car.

I took advantage of the fact that the car was here to go to the workshop to see what was going on.

The car is incredible, I love it

When i arrive to a gas station i receive a call

*phone ring*

Me : Frank here, whats'up?
Matsumoto : Matsumoto here, good news
Me : Tell me
Matsumoto : We sold the good parts of the 180 and scrapped the rest, and with the money we bought the new car
Me : What car is?
Matsumoto : It's a surprise, come to the workshop
Me : I'm in the highway, in 5 i will be there.

5 minutes later i arrive to the workshop.

There was my GTT, after a checkup, and I even more idiot taking photos to the supra

Matsumoto : Hey dude, how it drives?
Me : The supra is awesome, now the grip issues are almost gone, it's perfect.
Matsumoto : I'm glad that you like it, Also i have sold all the parts of the 180 and the old ones of the Supra
Me : How much?
Matsumoto : Of the supra all of the used suspension bits and the brakes i sold them for like 2 grand, the RPF1 wheels 3500
Me : And about the 180?
Matsumoto : About 3500 for everything , engine, transmission, the good parts, the scrapped car, the cage, etc
Me : Great, Great!

Me : Btw, what's the deal with that V35?
Matsumoto : Is our new drift car, Skyline V35 350GT
Me : A V35? Nice. How much it cost?
Matsumoto : 3000
Me : Very cheap, it's in good condition?
Matsumoto : Almost perfect, some little shit, but for a 04', it's perfect
Me : I will take a drive...

After I saw this V35, I was enthusiastic, although it would not have been my choice, it's a very good option, I'm excited

And it has good power to do burnouts.

Monday, June 17, 2:00 p.m.

In these three weeks, we have done several things in the new project, so, enjoy,

In what is aesthetic, we put a bodykit, new front lights, we tinted the tail lights , put the wheels of the GTT and Megan coilovers.

Under the hood, we changed the VQ35DE for a VQ35HR, since they have better internals,
besides a better sound and other advantages, luckily our DE was in good condition so we sold it and we recovered a part of the money.

We also changed the exhaust system, the camshafts (tomei procam cams, valves, retainers) and the admission plenum, the original ecu is reprogrammed

And in the Interior we changed the original seats for some bucket seats

It looks so great now, later on we will take it to the dyno and wrap it in some 90's - 2000's Hotboi Livery...

Tuesday, June 18th. 5:00pm

And finally the three projects together.

The V35

The Supra

And the GTT, the latter with the wheels of the V35, you will ask me, why?

Because I sold it to a great friend of the house, AJ
and I put those wheels for him to take it to his house and there he put good wheels, although being honest, those wheels do not look bad

It hurts me to see him go, but it will be for the better, besides I know that he will take care of it, besides I need the money, so.

Until the next, GTT

In these days I will buy some daily, for as long as I am using the V35.
And in the meantime i'm testing it to see that everything works well.

Let's see what I will come to this house...

Supra and V35 looks sooooo fit and gorgeous :-X
V35 could be a comfy daily as well! :D

That SRT4 is cool as well! I guess I should've grabbed a Plymouth Neon (the first gen ones) as a track car back in the USA for the laughs.....but then it's also less charismatic than the Foxbody ;)

That SRT4 is cool as well! I guess I should've grabbed a Plymouth Neon (the first gen ones) as a track car back in the USA for the laughs.....but then it's also less charismatic than the Foxbody ;)

Thank you dudeeeeeee!
I'm digging the idea of another V35 for a daily , i saw some 350gt for 2500 to 4 grand, so maybe it will be the choice.

Anyway, when ever you want , you can drive to my house or to the workshop for hanging out and take a spin...
