First of all, welcome to my RP!

Hello, my name is Matei Daniel (known as Matt) and I am 25 years old. I've been born in Romania, but at the age of 18 I moved here with my mom. After years of hard work and saving money, I managed to buy a car. A BMW E92 M3 in a pretty bad condition: no engine, rusty front bumper, driver's door, left sideskirt and a few bumps and scratches here and there, buuut.. the interior is neat. After many discussions and negotiations with the former owner I bought this car with 7,500V$ (and I think it's a good price for her condition). Down below you have some pictures:

So, what do you guys think about this car? It should be ok as a daily? What do you think about a new LS3 motor on this baby?

Anyway, the interior is neat (I mean the seats, the steering wheel and the dashboard), but misery gathered under the chairs and under the carpets, and the inside smells terrible, so I think it would be a good idea to change it with a new one.

So, the first thing on the TODO list is that we have to change the interior.

I managed to get rid of the old seats and steering wheel and I cleaned up all the interior. Now it smells good! <3 After that I ordered some new seats: Braum Elite-X with red stitching for 750V$.

Welcome to the RP forums my man! :D
M3 E92 as a starter? Even in that condition it's quite a lucky find! :D

It would be awesome as both daily ride and track toy. As for the engine, you might want to stick to the standard V8 engine if it's not too tired for the job, but feel free to LS swap it if you could. LS engines are relatively easy to source after all :D

I have a great feeling your RP is going to be a solid and interesting one to be enjoyed.
In my opinion it's quite well-written ;)

thats a great starter! also yeah the S65 V8 that comes in the E92 M3's arent exactly that tunable from what i've seen so, an LS doesnt sound so bad ;)

29.04.2019, 1:28 PM - Update #1

I am back today with some fresh new updates about my daily car. Umm.. I don't even know how to tell you about those updates, because It's weird to sell all the parts from your car (literally, everything: from the bumpers and doors to the suspension). So, down below you have some details and the prices I got from those parts:

    - rusty parts (front bumper, driver's door and left sideskirt) = 250V$ -
    - headlights and taillights = 350V$ for the headlights and 250V$ for the taillights -
    - M3 badge = 25V$ -
    - windows = 300V$ -
    - rear bumper and passanger's door = 725V$ -
    - rims = 850V$ (without the tires) -
    - old suspension = 1,250V$ -

After I sold those parts I took the car to a paintshop to give the car a new fresh and clear color...

At the moment, I don't have the pictures with the new color, but I'll come back with some.

30.04.2019, 5:00PM - Update #2

For today, I have some exciting news: seats, new suspension and new rims and tires arrived. So, down below you have some pictures with the new rims, seats and engine aswell. I forgot to tell you that, the engine is a LS3 with 285HP, the perfect power for a daily, right? I've made a engine swap to LS3, because it's much cheaper than buying a new engine, in my opinion. Maybe, in the future, I will buy a brand new engine.

Oh, I hope you like the new color. If you have better ideas that will match better with the car, please tell me.

By the way, yesterday (29.04.2019) I ordered new parts for the E92 (doors, windows and bumpers) and I hope they will arrive this evening to mount them.

Q: Why I bought H&R Ultra Low Coilover System?
A: I like my car very low and very close to the asphalt, y'know what I mean?

Welp you did the LS3 swap after all :D
If it's still relatively healthy, you can simply upgrade it without having to think about a brand new, fresh unit of another engine ;)
Stroker kit might be recommendable though, some of them can prolong the engine life since some are stronger than the stock engine internals (though in this case I'm sure LS internals are quite strong for daily usage) :D

Colour selection is a bit radical compared to other E92s around but hey, it's a good sign of creativity :D
Wheel selection is nice as well!

I think I'm quite confident over the direction your M3 is going ;)

Explain how a front bumper can be rusty :P also the prices for some parts are a bit off, check online shops or classifieds. And don't rush with updates too much, isn't an engine swap in one day too little time? Apart from this it's pretty well written :)

You can't go wrong with an LS, they surely know its reliability in USA haha. Only 285hp though? There's probably something wrong with it. The exterior looks all good though, wheels and paintjob were a good choice!

I agree with Lagano, there no way front bumper getting rusty, they using plastic bumper (correct it, if I'm wrong), they don't use metal bumper anymore. It only dirts marked.

I'm still learning RPing, so, I make some mistakes, but thank you for your advices. I didn't even know they are using plastic bumper. Sorry. :(

14/05/2019, 1:00 PM - Update #3

So, it's been 12 days since I didn't update you guys with anything, but now I am back (unfortunately without pictures) and I want to tell you some important news. First of all, I want to tell you that I am back in Romania, for an undetermined time, because I have some problems and I want to set up again in Romania (new house, new car etc.).

Q: Why am I telling `new car`? What happened with the E92?
A: While I was inactive, I talked with my mother and we decided to go back to Romania (where I was born), because we were not doing so well here in the US. I sold the E92, because I didn't want to wait 3 - 4 weeks for my car to be delivered and I want to buy a new car, something specific to Romania (maybe) and who knows what could happen with the E92 during the transport. Finally, in Romania, the car tax increases greatly if you have a high-capacity engine (for example, the LS3 engine which was mounted on the E92 was 4.3. In Romania you will pay 1,770 V$ per year.).

I sold the E92 for 7,500 V$. I think it was a little bit over-priced...

Anyway, everything is good now. I am living at my grandfather's house with my mother and I am looking for a new car (as I said above, something specifitc for Romania).

14/05/2019, 1:30 PM - Update #4

I have been looking for a car and I have found a Honda Civic EJ2 Coupe for for 1,680 V$ in Bucharest. I have talked with the owner and I set up a meeting with him tonight at 10:30 PM. I can't wait to see the car IRL. From the pictures, it doesn't look in a good condition, but that's ok. For that price, it's very good.

If you look closely you can see a little problem with the paint on the passanger's door, but we can fix it.

Welp sad to see the E92 went away before it could turn a wheel on the road :(
But hey, at least you're still financially healthy :D

Also what's your plan for the Civic? Daily? Track toy? Or both?

It will be a daily, for now, because I want mom to drive it too until I / she can buy anotber one for her. I am sorry too, but some things are more important now than that E92. But I promise you that this Civic will be one of the best car projects I ever had.

15/05/2019, 9:30AM - Update #5

I told you I will meet the owner of that Civic on 14/05, at 10:30PM, but we didn't meet at that time, because I didn't have a car to go to Bucharest. So, the next day I talked with my best friend and he helped me by giving me his car (Seat Leon Cupra).

15/05/2019, 11:45AM - Update #6

Now, we are on the highway on our way to Bucharest.

We took some breaks from driving, to relax.

15/05/2019, 1:56PM - Update #7

We arrived in Bucharest and we are going to meet with the owner to see the car. He told us to go at his place, where he had the car. We saw the car, it was in a good condition on the interior and the engine was good too, but the exterior does not look too good. The paint was awful.

The owner told me that he made a conversion from the stock engine of the 1995 Honda Civic to a stock K20A engine.

After talking with the owner and asking more questions about the car, I made a deicision: I bought the car.

15/05/2019, 6:21PM - Update #8

We made it back to Constanta, where I live at the moment with the both cars. The Civic runs great, but I had a problem with the gearbox: it does not change the gears as it should, so I went to a specialized car service and solved the problem.

I talked with some friends to told me a good paintshop and we found one and sent the car right away.

16/05/2019, 9:30AM - Update #9

It's Thursday morning, I went online to search a new Coilover Kit. After a couple hours for searching a good one that fits the 1994 Honda Civic, I found a Sport Coilover Kit for 950V$.

16/05 - 21/05, 11:45AM - Update #10

So, these days (16 - 21/05) I drove my best friends car, because the Civic was in the paintshop.

At 12:30PM I got a call from the paintshop and told me that my car was ready for pickup. I was so happy about it, I can't wait to see the new paintcoat.

As you can see, the front lip, the mirros and the engine headcover is painted in black. I think it looks good with that Audi Misano Red Pearl on it, right?

After getting the car from the paintshop, I went home and ordered the new rims for it: RS Watanabe Stellar for 585V$. By the way, I sold the Steelies for 100V$.

22/05/2019, 4:30PM - Update #11

The new coilover kit arrived and we started to mount it on the car. After a couple hours of working on it, I can say that the Civic looks great.

26/05/2019, 11:36AM - Update #12

I got a call from the post office with which I was announced that I received a package. So, I went to the post office to get my package and guess what?! THE NEW RIMS HAVE ARRIVED!!!

I got home and "we have the car in the new coats". After I put the new wheels on, I went online, again, to search a new Aftermarket Intake Manifold and I found one for 450V$.

27/05/2019, 6:00PM - Update #13

The package with the new manifold arrived and I started working on the car. After some hours of working, the new Aftermarket Intake Manifold was mounted on the car and the car was good to go!

I think this is it for now. I am thinking at some new modifications, but I don't know what I should do. I have new plans for a new car, however I don't want to spend a lot of money on the cars right now. I want to finish the 1994 Honda Civic project.

If you have any ideas for the 1994 Honda Civic, please let me know. I really want you guys to be a part of this project. All the advices and ideas are welcome.

I love the new color selection for the Civic, it's brilliant! :D

I agree with Wypple, improve the engine even if it's just a bit. I'd say the rest of the car is already nice and blends well
