Hello, I am Akira, a JAPAN resident.
I was able to get the hands on this beautiful, almost stock Lexus sc400 for V$5000.

The previous owner mentioned that he used it for daily driving.

The car was fitted with 17-inch sc300 rims and Dunlop Sport Max tyres. Chassis,suspensions and engine were okay.

The tires and brake pads had to be replaced. It was squealing all the time.

I want to do a drift project,i believe this car is just right.I'm going to unload the inside of the car first, get a new seat and a steering wheel,Then I will order the new brake system and tire.I want to sell the engine of the car because I will replace it with a new engine,I'm thinking of getting 1JZ.If you want to buy the old engine, please contact me,I will sell at an affordable price.

V$20000 - V$5000 (sc300 Price) = V$15000

I rented a small garage in the back alley of my house, a bit small but I think it's enough for now,I'm gonna do nice things here and share.

In the meantime, I started operations in the car.I dismantled the parts inside the car and sold the pieces I took off.I had to sell it to the buyer a little cheaper because the parts were used.all sold to V$500.I'm waiting for the new parts I'm going to get in a few days. :D

In the meantime, I want to buy a car that I can use every day. JDM must be,Send me your suggestions.

Finally came the pieces I wanted. :D Previously used in a car prepared for drift, but the owner had an accident and sold the parts.She said the seats were special, I've never seen her before,never seen before, so beautiful. :D I was going to order a gear knob, but the guy sent me a gift. :) my style is a little bit out of the standard,i love revealing new styles.I think these parts really fit the car. B) All of these pieces have cost me 900V$.

My rims and coilovers finally arrived. :D Our brakes are the only shortcomings for drifting.I have to order a professional brake system because it's very important to stop the car quickly, we even get a hydraulic parking brake because I know the hydraulic brake is best suited for this job.I prefer Rays Gram Lights 57DR rims. I like the look and I believe it looks good in the car. I used a green color to make a difference, but I didn't love it, maybe I could paint.Tire brands BFgoodrich g force sport. I've heard good things about these tires.In the meantime, I brought the car closer to the ground and gave the camber angle.The front wheels did not fit in the mudguards, so I bought the new wide fenders of the duraflex brand.Coilovers Brand Tein Super Drift.The outside image of the car is very important to me, so I bought an addition to the front bumper and I think it really suited.

Part list;

-Rays Gram Lights 57DR&BFgoodrich g force sport 18 inch:-2500V$

-Duraflex quartpanels:-500V$

-Front lip:-200V$

-Sold old quartpanels:+200V$

Paycheck:+415V$

New Brakes!
One of the most important parts of this car was the brakes.I chose wildwood because I thought it was a quality brand,I also completed the installation of the hydraulic handbrake, it really became a legend. :D I wanted to overhaul the gas pedals while replacing these parts and replaced them with hydraulic pedals.Of course, we're not ready to drift, because our car has an automatic 2uz engine and it's impossible to drift with an automatic gearbox.As a motor I decided to install 1jz, a light and performance engine.I believe it would be ideal between 400-500 horsepower.If you have 1jz sellers around you please contact me.These pieces have cost me V$4,800.

Part list;

-Wildwood brake kit:-V$4000
-Hydrolic brake&gas pedals:-V$800

Finance:V$7.215

Wilwood user here, though not for drift purposes. Can confirm they're very strong, particularly after combined with big discs :thumbsup:
And with double caliper installation you did at the rear wheels (how did you do that?), it might lead to a very, very fast locking while swinging around :D

Technically speaking, it's actually possible to slide around and drift on auto transmission. But indeed you can't hold and control the drift for a long time, since auto transmission means you're using open diff, which isn't recommended for drifting after all. And auto trans also mean you can't control the torque band manually as well

Probably keeping 1J simple will be key to good reliable engine :)

I know I'm going to drift with an automatic transmission, but I said it's not enough for me. :)

It's time to get the engine out :D
It's time to change our car's heart,I started to prepare the entire infrastructure to swap JZ.I still haven't found a suitable engine, but I'm still investigating.I'm excited to be able to participate in drift activities after completing the swapping process and adjusting the engine.I share the old engine and exhausts for sale,I will sell it at an affordable price.In the meantime, I want to change the color of the car,I think I make white color.It will be a good start to start painting the engine pool.

I'd say either pearl white (not bone white), British Racing Green (or any shade of dark green), jade green (or R34's Millenium Jade Metallic) or midnight purple would fit your car very well. Honestly it's rather difficult to think what colour will suit your car better since the wheels are green, and there aren't many race cars with green wheels to begin with :rolleyes:

Also listing your engine and transmission inside the classifieds will help people notice your engine. There aren't many 2UZs around so it's quite interesting to see who has interests for it. I'd actually like to have one but sadly not only I don't have money, I don't have any other car that can fit the engine :(

Anyways, good luck for the JZ hunt! :D
