# Nightrunner : Thank you Great progress on your Toyota builds! # jdmkvng : Also excellent work for your builds as well! # DEADMANE : Thanks! Keep up with your Aristo too! REE-DOX For the last week, 11K and I sourced some goodies for the Supra and some minor this and that we had to deal with the S15 and the E36. Basically I sourced some "Ridox" aero parts for the Supra, while I helped 11K to get some SR20 parts for his S15 and luckily I found some compatible parts for the engine and it worked like a charm. Mr. Lee was busy building a "drift-spec" Kia Stinger which was requested by some anonymous guys from Japan. They brought a bone stock 2.0 Stinger and basically requested it to have some "JZX" vibes into it, of course with the notorious JZ engine instead of wonky power-squeezing 2.0L turbo from Hyundai. Anyways, in short, Supra will probably get another exterior upgrade. First, I found the previous stock bumper that I shoved into the storage for months, cleaned it up and attached the front lip with the bumper. I wanted to get the whole Ridox front bumper but it wasn't "exactly" my style and I decided to go more OEM look like my ER34 has right now. Well it means I cut some corners by getting "Ridox-Style" CF bumper lips instead of whole genuine bumper thing. Also, the license plate was easy to relocate. Aaaand I realized that CF splitters and lips would probably make DMV say "NO" but ehh who cares anyway. While I was working on the bumper, 11K worked on the side fender for whole day, which he made a pair of giant vent for more airflow. It was done really nicely and polished really well. I couldn't find the wrong spots or even dusts, what a masterpiece. Speaking of cutting corners, Ridox side skirts and the CF exension ASSY I got was a genuine piece delivered freshly, straight from Japan. Fitted, painted and installed. No problemo! Now the Supra has been changed its form and I really like the look of it. I think it looks better than the Top Secret ones I had right before. The next day, I went to the Nissan/Infinity service center to source some parts for the ER34. All of the employees were really kind and they were REALLY curious about the 180SX I drove to, because it's not a common car to be seen and it's even in a stock shape. I returned to my home and told 11K to relax for few days and help Mr. Lee working on the Stinger Project which was in a steady progress. The next day, I opened the garage door with 11K in the morning and I headed to my ER34, started the engine to warm itself up, and slowly moved the car to the working section. I traded my R888 with Michelin tires because it was more of my taste when it comes to the drivability. R888 was too grippy and it was expensive. Well it's a matter of taste The license plates were finally installed and the Nissan badge I got from the service center fitted nicely. I think the size and the shape is a bit different, but at least it does look almost same. When I brought this thing, it had a beaten up exhaust pipe which really didn't make the car look good and clean. HKS exhaust pipe was delivered to the garage and it was replaced immediately. Actually replacing the whole exhaust system was in plan, but I guess that will be the next plan. |

Well i really liked the Top Secret bodykit on your Supra but it still looks quite aggressive with this one! Those carbon pieces go really well with black rims. However i think the R34 front lip should be painted to match the sideskirts and rear bumper, or that those parts would be carbon too.

Imagine owning an R34 AND a JZA80 Fam you're like the marcus915 of Korea! But yeah I agree with Lagano, the front lip on the Nismo bumper might flow better if it was paint matched. But other than that, no complaints, looking good! The Supra's Ridox upgrade looks like it's going well too. New wheels please!! Haha Also I NEED AN S13 THAT CLEAN IN MY LIFEEEEE This post was edited by RocketBunnyS13 (2019-01-22 22:13, ago) |

Oh my god, the king of the Supras has extended his claws and getting stronger!
Man Ridox kit is pure love to me, I have to kneel before you for this Also, if your spoiler can escape DMV complaints (which sadly 11K didn't), I'm sure the lip can as well P.S. marcus915 is a legend of his own, I wonder what's his opinion over your builds. I think he'll greatly approve all of them |

Thanks for all the compliments! I was working on repainting the front lips for the R34 and it looked way better than before. Thanks for the tip! Mr. Lee was actually drooling over my T7R wheels setup and he asked me "Why don't we trade T7R with my SP1" which I already have it on my Supra. I really liked to get a new SP1 as well, so I called it a deal and now I have these metal rim version, apart from my fully painted ones on my Supra. 11K also made me a custom lip for the trunk. R34s without a wing is a rare find these days. I found the MFD unit for the ER34 on the Japan auction site for V$ 800. It was a really hefty price, but with OEM wirings and the perfect fitment to the dashboard is a big plus, and you can save a lot of space without buying those actual gauges. Some wiring and the ECU tune from Mr. Lee activated the MFD without any issues. Good call! I went out for a quick test drive on the local mountain road. It was a really fun ride after all. Probably I have to source some roll cage and the mirrors as well! |

Lunar New Year's Day Not much of a big update these days due to a holiday season, but just one big change was made to the 180SX right before I headed to my hometown. It was resprayed again with R34 "Active Red" which goes really well with the car, and also OEM points. There were no orange peels, swirl marks and no overspraying, since the car was almost parted out and resprayed carefully. All of my cars were white, so I wanted more vibrance to the garage. With the help of 11K, I could cop the "180SX" rear garnish decal and the middle taillight section for V$ 100. R32 style rear lip spoiler was also arrived within the package, costing V$ 50 and resprayed alongside with the garnish. Rather than drilling the hole through the trunk and bolting on the Type-X spoilers, I prefer much sleeker look of the rear without the big wing. The rear Type-X OEM wheels were not in a good shape since it came with my previous RS13 240SX Coupe... And I needed to use my car for a holiday trip. A pair of Nissan Teardrop OEM wheels were in the storage (That's why I always keep OEM stuff in the garage warehouse) and it was installed with the used tire Mr. Lee lent me. He mentioned that I gotta pay for everything including the paintjob after I come back! The Next Day I left my home early in the morning and headed straight to the 24H mart that was still open. I was successful to get some groceries and some stuffs for the road trip. Not a big car, but spacious enough to hold some small carriages. Actually driving out of Seoul and reaching Busan took over 5 hours and I was glad that I replaced those seats way before. Lucky Me. After a long road trip about 500KM, I finally reached my hometown and arrived my parent's house. I parked the car in the yard and called it a day. It's a late Happy New Year! |

Thanks for all the comments! The holiday was already passed and our crew members all went back to our daily life. 11K was focusing on his S15 project and several other design ideas. When I arrived the garage, many things have been changed. The old musky 90's graffiti was all removed and only the white plasters and the brick walls were there. Mr. Lee mentioned that he would clean all the old paintjob and just leave it white and I assume the job was done while the garage was closed during the holiday season. The R34 is still in some aesthetic progress, so I parked the Supra where I could see enough light for doing the stuff. Anyways, I decided to remove the top secret mirrors for the Supra and fit the F1 mirrors I had last year. The visibility on the small-sized ones were painful, so I decided to go back to this one. Also, I sourced some used A80 Supra LED rear lights for sale on the community, and grabbed them for V$ 400. It's almost impossible to get new one, and I really wished myself to get the Car Shop Glow one, but it was too pricey at the moment. Tested all the relays and the lightings, and no dead diodes. Perfect. I also sourced the OEM R34 GT-R rear wing, and the R34 rear seats and a single passenger seat for more comfort, for total V$ 600. The R34 parts came from a salvaged GTT which had a lot of GT-R parts installed. It was sad to see one of rare cars here go away. Stay tuned for next update |

Best stock 180SX around the forums no doubt. And I like the Craft Square-ish mirrors on the Soup, as well as the LED tails. And OEM R Goods on a 25GTT are the right thing. Solid update!

FINALLY I did some changes to near-stock condition 180SX, which would still look OEM. I got the N1-Style bumper ducts for V$ 70 an drilled a hole in the bumper, added it and boom, all done. 11K almost cut his fingers while helping me drilling the hole! Getting those ducts are for more cooling, since the car is over 20 years old now and somehow it would overheat without any warning. So consider it like a "physical insurance" and the minimum job done to avoid such issues. Apart from 180SX, The ER34 was undergoing some OEM+ changes, unlike my decision beforehand. Yes you are right, it just looks like those early V-Spec N1 with bare carbon fiber hood, but you're wrong at the same time. I got the used Top Secret hood, real carbon fiber for V$ 700. Not a cheap price for a hood, but weight reduction is KEY. Also, the stock mirrors were removed and went straight to the storage, replaced with Craft Square mirrors. Costing a hefty price of V$ 400. But hey, it looks like a GT car, why not? And yeah, say goodbye to those pristine condition SP1s. Sad to see it go to another person but I have soft spot for OEM wheels. Copped those with lightly used BFGoodrich tires for V$ 1500. I hope those tires would grip the asphalt really well. After the car was done, it was stored in this place for few days, and it's finally the day to drive it! And give it a doug score 11K sat in the passenger seat, and we headed to the nearest udon place I visit very often. He took some photos and posted on our crew members' facebook page, which will gain a lot of attention. I think that's pretty much it for today's update. More things will come later |
