Sweet I was hoping you'd eventually get around to the J2 kits. The fitment on that looks great, though I do see a small gap under the bottom edge of the headlight.
EDIT: Also, for the hood, I'd recommend cutting out the scoop and grafting it onto the stock Forza hood, instead of trying to fit the entire thing. That hood is, IMO, not complicated enough that it would justify adjusting the fitment the hard way. This post was edited by RedCarDriver (2019-01-12 04:05, ago) |

Nice! You may also create second hood by moving scoop to the right so that it'll look like Colix hood from NFSU2: *LINK*

# RedCarDriver : Sweet I was hoping you'd eventually get around to the J2 kits. That hood is, IMO, not complicated enough that it would justify adjusting the fitment the hard way.The hood is from Forza (also the scoop, i've moved it from the left to the center and rescaled), i should have fixed these small gaps at the sides when i first started the mod, but i always forget (they come that way from Forza). The major fitment problem is here (the bumper doesn't follows the hood lines at all) and i cant fix that # Supremen96 : Nice! A lot of NFS parts will be included in this mod, including this body kit: *LINK* # Nightrunner : Oh YAS this looks pretty fucking epic !Thank you |

# adnan54 : Actually the headlights was a bit upwards xDSee, this is why I get confused by how you (and apparently BB93 and 90% of modders) do pivots. The way I've got it done, I'm always 100% certain where something is, as long as it's not a newly created primitive object from 3DS Max that I haven't manually merged into something else. Then again, my method is probably a lot more annoying to people who didn't learn to do it that way # adnan54 : The major fitment problem is here (the bumper doesn't follows the hood lines at all) and i cant fix that :/ I'd recommend cutting off the top part of the grille and trying to reflow the model to fit with the grille off of one of the Nismo bumpers. If you want, I can have a look at it. |

# Supremen96 : BTW, are you going to do kit from JGTC Skyline?Less a "kit" and more a "completely different car", isn't it? The wheel arches are much higher on that than on the stock car. |

It might "work", yes, but it'd probably be better to do as its own chassis so you don't see the stock rear quarter panel behind the JGTC wheel arch.

# Supremen96 : BTW, are you going to do kit from JGTC Skyline? *LINK*Yes i'll But as RCD said, it is more to a completely different car than a kit It probably will have it own chassis and RPK, but i'm not sure.. Added 9 minutes later: I can also detach the rear quarter panels as in Robban's R34 pack (?), this will bring a lot of new possibilities but it is not realistic, so idk.. Well, that depends. The R34 you've showed is, iirc, the latest one they've brought to JGTC, and it's V6-powered. The earlier iterations had an RB engine and were more similar to the production vehicles. Although it'll still most likely require it to be a separate chassis instead of a simple bodykit.

# NK748 : Please tell me you didn't give up on the RX 7 Nope, I didn't give up. I have a new plan for the RX7 Well, I think the "quick project" is not that quick project anymore.. I think there is about 250 parts now. Im probably going to use the RPK creator to put everything ingame as fast as possible. |

@Adnan - didn't FH4 have both base model ('97) and Spirit R variant? If so, that's a lot of parts |

@Adnan, about the JGTC kit, just do what Tiago did with his s13 mod, this way you can separate it like Chassis is sills+roof, then you add
Firewall and floor until rear seats->enginebay until shock towers->front part of enginebay->radiator support Firewall and floor until rear seats->rear part of floor this way you can have a tubeframe chassis as well, cut enginebay with tube frame for the front, cut rear floor with rear tube frame, and add different enginebays, like the JGTC enginebay |

please fucking don't.While splitting bumpers in few parts doesn't affect the car much, splitting chassis makes it almosth impossible to make proper physics.Instead, just do it BB's way with custom java |

Holy Shit Man stole my words! That's the only decent way to do it, or go simple and do as separate chassis |

I'm generally inclined to agree. Turning SLRR parts, especially the chassis, into Swiss cheese is a bad way to go.

# Holy Shit Man : Why do you think it's not possible? If you make the chassis be just door sills, but make it use proper physics as if it was a full chassis AND add the rest of the swiss cheese parts as parts without no physics then what's the problem? In reality the only difference would be purely visual... it's like saying settings chassis render to 0x00000000 would ruin physics This post was edited by DHR (2019-06-22 17:33, ago) |

Yeah, no. Think of physics also in terms of crashing and part detaching
