A lot has happened in these past week... Starting the update off with the S13.

THE DREADED S13

So as you may remember, i said a few updates ago that i was gonna soon take it out to Ebisu/Maze. Well, i kept my word. Or at least i tried to. I decided, like everyone else would, to do a full nut and bolt check of the car early morning before taking to the track. And with that boltcheck, i decided to randomly compression test the engine. THATS WHERE THINGS GOT HAIRY

CYLINDER 4. LOW COMPRESSO. ES NO BUENO.

The last time i comp tested this engine was when it was in my S14. at the time it was fine. IDIOT ME FORGOT TO TEST AGAIN BEFORE SLAPPING MODS ON IT BECAUSE ALL THATS IN MY HEAD WAS ITS A WORKING ENGINE SMH.

Welp, ofc i didnt take it to the track anyways. Cuz i'll just get myself into trouble if the engine fails completely. Which is quite inevitable. That day over lunch tho, During a serious discussion and no jokes involved, at all, Marc (Macaron_Moon), being the good sport that he is, and being the only person around us with proper Mechanical engineering knowledge, told me to marc his words (HAHA I CAN PUN TOO OK AJ) that he'd build the S13 again, from GROUND UP. talking a whole different look, fully refreshed engine, refreshed suspension and so on. Well, OFC I DIDNT DENY. This time, we're gonna take our time with it and build it to proper high standards. Leaving no nut or bolt untouched. Well thats the plan at least. If things work out properly, it'll be done sooner.

Thats that for this car then. Here it sits, awaiting to be rebuilt

next day...

BACK ON THE WAGON

Not much has changed on it yet. Apart from the rear bumper! Found a good deal at a Do-Luck rear bumper and pulled the trigger. LOOKS HEAPS BETTER THAN THE PREVIOUS BUMPER

Almost time for its first shakedown somewhere. Jk, IT IS TIME. since i failed to take the S13 to a track the day before, i decided to take the wagon, the automatic, stock suspension wagon, TO TSUKUBA. After a nut and bolt check, and a quick oil change, i set of for the iconic track. Hoping i dont have so much bodyroll that i literally tip the car over

*an hour of driving, and 30mins of paperwork later*

WE IN BOIS

After a warmup lap, i decided to open up the taps. Lets see what this thing in all its 260ps and automatic trans can do

Halfway in on the first proper lap, the bodyroll wasnt as bad as i was expecting. THE TRANSMISSION HOWEVER, FOR SOME REASON FELT SLUGGISH. Maybe just because im not used to track driving older automatic cars. but yeah, THING NEEDS A MANUAL. Desperately trying to hold off until im done the supra (more on that in a bit)

All in all, the bodyroll wasnt as bad like i said, but its still there. SOO to basically be fun to drive, this car NEEDS a manual swap and new suspension. Engine felt pretty okay. a bit low on power, but that'll be dealt with soon hopefully.

The times? well i topped out at a solid 1:13.48! not bad for a stock CT9W i'd say but upto you to decide.
Welp, two or so hours at the track later, i decided to go home and get some rest.

*2 days later*

THE (sorta) BIG REVEAL!

The latest purchase, what ive teased a week or so ago, and finally got to go and pick up.

1995 Mercedes Benz S500! MY ENTRY TO THE LOCAL T H O T PATROL HEHEHEEH

funny how my first actual Euro car, IS A FLIPPIN CRUISE SHIP. not even kidding, tHIS THING IS B I G (reference in a bit)

the ad from goo-net-

Going into detail, under the hood this thing pACKS HEAT!
WE GOT A 5.0L MERC V8!

Interior wise, its very clean and well kept, BUT the interior is actually what justifies the low-ish price.

From what i've been told, The AC condenser is currently bad, hence no AC. And the pioneer head unit that it has is toast too. so no audio. Apart from that, its in very good condition.

The rear is nice and roomy too. As ofc a luxury oriented Mercedes would be.

As for the specialty things that do work, This car came with the optional electronic seats. and yap they're still functional on all sides!

AND WE GOT A FULLY FUNCTIONAL SUNROOF!

For wheels, as you may have noticed, it has 19" Work Euroline DH's

Thats about it on the details side of the car. Just gonna say, MACKAY, WHEN THE BENTLEY COMING THEN? XD

Now for why i actually bought the car. I got a pretty big occasion coming up soon (you'll see what), and after thats done, i dont think dailying a civic ES wont look good enough. So yeah, im gonna fix up the AC and audio, and then daily a Mercedes Benz, while bathing myself in comfort LMAO

Went to Burgerking later that day with the bois. More of that on AJ's roleplay soon.

HERES REFERENCE AS TO HOW BIG THE S-CLASS IS

"Dont talk to me or my son ever again"

Took it for a late night drive that day too. Temp wasnt that high so having no AC didnt bother a lot. No audio did bother a bit tho lmfao

Just such a big upgrade from the ES1 in comfort terms! it kinda just feels like its floating while you're driving it down the road lmao. fellas at mercedes did a good job on the supension on these

*the day after*

Pulled the ES1 out. HERES MORE REFERENCE FOR HOW BIG THE S-CLASS IS

As for why i did pull the ES1 out, unfortunately, its sold! now that i have the Merc, i no longer really need it. best option was to let go of it i guess.

GOODBYE!

Moving on now to the Supra! Had quite a few parts come in over the week.

The parts did include some engine and transmission mounts. So, first thing i did was put the engine in!

Fits in as good as i expected! didnt require that much modification too.

Afterwards i started mocking up all the other parts that came in

New Lowmount turbo manifold!

Greddy T78 turbo and Mushroom air filter! Turbo rated to handle 700hp

That was all just mockup tho. i pulled everything right off afterwards. because still new Cams, intercooler setup and some more things left to come in. AAAAAAAAAAA CANT WAIT

Anyways, that'll be all for today. Thanks for stopping by! Hope you enjoyed ;)

Added 3 minutes later:

Starting off with the Supra, on my last update about it i mentioned that some parts were still to come. Well they're finally here over this past week! An HKS front mount intercooler with custom piping. Had the pipes made by a local garage where i have some friends. Cuz yo boi here doesnt know jackshit about welding. A skill that i'll have to learn really soon haha. Then we have a TiAL 50mm blowoff valve. Honestly at first wanted to go with no BOV becuase SUTUTUTUT...But well, played it a bit safe i guess. Then again, this engine will see some high action usage so better to be safe lmao. Then theres HKS 264in camshafts, with HKS cam gears. Such an important part to get to the power goal i have. And ofc, the vast improvement on idling sounds haha. More on the Valvetrain, We got HKS Rocker arms, Tomei valve springs, and a new Tomei Head Gasket. Up next we have (OH MY GOD THIS IS A HUGE ASS PARTS LIST) EXEDY Stage 2 Clutch kit. Been an Exedy user for a while now, love their quality so yeah it was the only logical option to me. And it being a stage 2, it can handle the power goals that i have. Only one thing remains now. A new ECU ofc. cant run all this on a stock 1JZ ECU lmao. gonna be getting
a power FC for it very soon!

WEW. that should be it for the engine. Thankfully i ordered from a handful of reliable websites who had them in stock, and some parts from UPgarages. Hence i didnt have to wait months for them lmao. As for why ive put some parts on, well THIS CAR IS GOING TO OSAKA LADS. Everything regarding to the cylinder head and valve train is still in a few boxes in the trunk, but the rest ive decided to put on snug. So i dont have to deal with like 10 huge boxes on the trailer.

At MACKAYs garage, where the car is going, i plan to install all the valvetrain bits, while ofc MACKAY welds a good ol' rollcage for it. I'll be surrounded by people who've done WAAAY higher HP builds than my goal, hence less chances of fucking up there lmao. Ofc that'll mean taking all the engine parts off again, but thats why i only put them on 'snug' lmao.

Same deal for the front end. Put everything back on for ease of delivering.

I had arranged everything for the delivery beforehand, with a local towing and trailering company. Just gave them a call and about 40mins later, they arrived with a trusty Toyota Dyna car transporter. Its not enclosed ofc. that shit would be waaay too expensive. A bit of risk getting the paint messed up but hey, its not in pristine condition anyways.

All loaded up, and off it goes for an 8-or-so hour journey to Osaka!

I literally got up at 5:30 A.M. to work on the Supra. Was at the Garage by 6, and AJ popped in as well by 6:20. we finished up and set the car off at just shy of 8 A.M.

As for Bento box Marc and his 24x7 tired ass, he showed up at 8:25, Still looking drowsy asf and barely walking straight, while sipping on his staple food, some warm Ramen.

Me - well where the fuck have you been?
Marc - sleep, bro
- And how much sleep did you get?
- *yawns* dunno maybe 7hours?
- Ok 7hours isnt low yOU USELESS LARDY-ARSE. Why you still drowsing?
- Coffeccino, bro
AJ - *trying not to wheeze hard* the FUCKs a coffeccino?
Marc- *tries desperately to keep eyes open, looks like he's smoked two tons of marijuana*

Yeah, it was clear this man needed caffeine or he's going to ERROR 404 MARC.EXE HAS STOPPED WORKING smh. He's a spanish guy after all. Spanish guys like their snooze a lot. so AJ so gracefully went off to get some cuppa's and some breakfast for all of us from burger king.

After he was back and we all got our caffeine boost, it was time to start prepping for the long drive ahead of us. AJ started checking up his BEASTLY built B18C. it handled one Osaka trip already, it should handle another one just fine. For sure going to rupture some eardrums along the way cuz MUH VTAKKK EPIC SCREAMING

Marc's sleepy ass finally got his shit somewhat right. And first thing, removed the JUN lip his car has. Its a long drive and the lip sits kinda low. So yeah better not risk damaging it. Have a glance at how much that lip changes the look of the front bumper lmao

And then i did a usually nut-and-bolt check on my 4G63T. Spotted a coolant hose slightly leaking. Had spare hoses at the garage so took about 15mins to cut it up and replace it. ALL GOOD!

After all that was done, we packed up our bags and loaded them onto the trunks.

Locked up the garage, with my S-class and S13 in it, And off we went! the previous actual long drive i had in Japan was the Osaka trip to pick up my Supra, riding Shotgun on C-REX. This time, im on my own car, and we have Marc tagging along! THIS TRIP SHOULD BE EPIC!

NEXT STOP OSAKA!! り飲安

Erwin promised to do some nice photography upon us reaching there and meeting up, so keep your eyes on his thread for more about this trip soon!

Anyways, that should be all for now. Thank you very much for stopping by! ;)

Ah, well been gone for almost a week now i think. But yeah gotta say, Osaka kept me quite busy lmao. Mostly on the Supra. Which may i say, got a SHIT TON of progress. So yeah, buckle up for a update which is mostly a supra photobomb. Im gonna cover up all the work shenanigans in Mackays place. As for all the Fun stuff we did, and we did have a LOT of fun, keep an eye on my buddy Macarons update soon! A barbecue, Getting drunk to shit, and So much more!

So uh, yeah, a lotta stuff did get done on my beloved supra over this week. The first thing i did on it after a day of rest upon reaching Osaka,

NEW WHEEL SETUP

Suspension adjusted a bit, wheels put on, and lowered down. Here we are guys, 18" Volk TE37's for the Supra!!

Bought em used, in good condition from a guy selling em 20mins away from mackays place. Didnt have tyres mounted initially, but the prev owner had the courtesy to give the whole set a full wash and cleanse, and then i got some fresh bridgestone potenza's from a local parts store. 285's up front, 295's in the rear. Mounted em right with mackays tire mounter!

prev owner initially asked about 2500 for the wheels, but well, managed to barge it down to 2300. Bargaining is what i do XDDDDD Bought em, dropped em off at the garage, then got the potenzas for 1000$ all in all. 3300V$ is quite a bit for a wheel setup, but well, sacrifices.

Right next to my Supra tho, Mackay's mostly OEM, yet BEAUTIFUL BMW M4!

Gotta say, i've loved the M4 F82 since it came out. People call it the worst sounding M car, but really i dont mind it. just the looks, the power, ofc the german engineering, it all compensates easily! and the pearl white mackays car is in, with the Fifteen52's, its just a BLESSING to the eyes. for me at least!

Later on we went on a little McDonalds trip. Me and Erwin rode in the backseat of the M4. Mackay's wife drove and he was riding shotgun. You'll see that in Macaron's, or AJ's thread ;)

Later on, it was time to actually progress on the supra. My goal apart from getting it caged, was to get it running here. While Mackay started preparing the tubes for it, i disassembled the cylinder head fully. And cleaned it as far as i could.

AJ pulled C-REX in on the the lift to check underneath for any gremlins.
You may ask how my non running supra has its taillights on. Well i had the taillights still connected to the battery and turned the key, to add a bit of cool points to the photo. probably didnt make any difference but i tried XD

Bit by bit, i began to assemble the head back. Starting off with the HKS Cams and all the other small valvetrain parts. And damn with how good them cam gears look, i should be running no timing cover. But well, protection lmao.

With the valvetrain sorted, i put on some good RTV that Mackay had a few spare packs of, before putting on the new Tomei metal Head Gasket. Then put the sparkplugs back on, and voila, the head is back as it was. except beefier underneath. Ofc i did all this with Erwin and lagano sorta supervising and giving a hand at times. Grateful for that! :) Then i started properly sealing everything else back on with new gaskets and more RTV
Lack of pics because i was kinda focused on the work haha

It was getting pretty late. Everyone had left mostly. AJ and Marc went off to our hotel room, Erwin and Lagano dropped some more tips and went home too. Just, me and Mackay. Tirelessly working on this supra. He finished up the materials and mocked them up one by one in the interior and sorta glued them on temporarily to see fitment, while i put back on the intercooler, gave the car some fresh ENEOS 5w30 engine oil, and some coolant too. afterwards mackay gave me a hand and we connected the wiring up. gonna be disconnected soon on the ECU to accomodate for a PowerFC, but we'll figure it out later.

And now, the big moment. Getting past 1a.m., and its time to crank the car for the first time.
First crank did absolutely nothing, until i found my dummy ass forgot to plug the starter. But well with that sorted, about 3-4 tries later,

L I F E !

what a feeling this was! this supra is most likely the car ive put the most dedication into. Seeing it finally having life, and hearing the sound it created because of the bigger cams. What a joy! A high five and a good ol' bro-hug later, we both went home to get some much needed rest.

The next day, Mackay and i both got to welding the cage in permanently. I needed welding lessons anyways so this was my chance. plus it reduces work for mackay himself so why not lmao.

After a few hours of welding and good music playing on the background, here we are! with a full caged interior!

Put the seats in next, with functional sliders retained ofc. They're a fucking pain in the ass but, small details i guess

thats that then. Over a week, sweat and some blood too, the goals for Supra in Osaka were achieved. Not just blood and sweat and hardship tho. bet i dont have to remind but i'll do anyways, THIS WAS FUN!! Can not thank Mackay, Erwin, and Lagano enough for helping me so much on this car. Like i said on erwins thread, they are all a part of this build too. And i meant it :-X So is AJ and Marc. Hell Marc convinced me to even buy this car. and AJ literally drove me to Osaka back when i bought it. Its just amazing how Building cars up can bring so many people together. All the memories, all the hard work on it, All only strengthening our friendships unknowingly!

Marc pulled in his Evo X later on, now it was time for work to begin on his car. But thats a whole other adventure! You'll ofc see it on Marc's thread soon!

AJ's car, my evo, erwin and lagano's cars were all parked outside mostly. lmao like i said, C-REX did hold up perfectly on another Osaka trip. My evo didnt have much issues too. Its OEM mostly after all.

Oh and MACKAY, i uhm *cough* "politely borrowed" some souvenirs of this Osaka trip that you had lying around. Gotta represent! XDDDDDDD

Welp, that'll be it for now. Wont gonna be in Osaka for much longer now. But so far, this was one of the best trips of my life, i give you that. Anyways, thanks for stopping by as always! ;)

Yeah, what a week we had man, I am more than sure that you had great time and even learned few things in the process, I hope that such welding "lessons" will turn out to be useful next time you need to fab something up quickly. Working on the Supra was a pleasure, for real, I had such a great time with you around, somehow anything we build in my garage tends to be like this, we work all day till the night and sometimes even through the night, but with great company everything is possible. Supra is turning out amazing, TE37's, roll-cage and everything else that you can imagine, even tho it is far from finished I can't wait to drive along it on the expressway as I already see few similarities with my GTR', maybe cause it is black, it is a beast and it is on TE's haha! Feel free to come back whenever you want man, you guys got yourself a go to place here in Osaka. :pathead:

Oh.. I can't wait to see those stickers on your cars haha!

Can't wait for other guys updates, AJ and Marc were all around the place too and the things they did is just as interesting, can't wait! ♥

Ahh man , what a great time all of us had ! It was incredibly fun hanging out with everybody , but most importantly , you got the Supra running ! Ahh I'm so happy about that ! I really wonder how much power it'll put down , after all , it's got 295s on the rear , and if you ask me , thats a fuckton of meat on them tires haha ! That reminds me... I ran 295s on my GTST back when I had it and oh man it was gripping amazingly ! Hopefully it'll be enough grip for that 1J , cuz you never know how much it'll actually put down on the dyno haha ! But yeah man , the Supra is so goddamn sick ! The fresh new TE's look awesome , and once again , the TRD seats ! I'm obsessed with seats and oh man .... having such rare seats definitely gives you a crapton of cool points ! Haha ! But yeah , I've had an awesome time with you and the other guys , and it was such a pleasure to work on your Supra ! I wish I was there when you guys managed to get it running , but oh well , the sake I've drank that day had quite an effect on me lmao ! But yeah man , this little meet-up was an awesome experience and I really want to re-live it sometime , what do you think haha ? Anyways , if you ever need help or a place to hang out , you know who to hit up ! See ya around , bro ! ;)

# RocketBunnyS13 : YAPPPP update should be up by tomorrow. I can't believe it has a running JZ already! This Osaka Trip was probably the best we've done yet. Lots of great cars, solid food, and nothing but good times with the best of people <3
indeed man! makes me wanna move to Osaka straight up XDDDDDD

The power goal for the Supra is not even that close to the power your MAD GTST had man. But then again, Local neighborhood Mechanical Engineer MARC will be tuning it soon, along with some FaceTiming with you and Mackay, it really is unpredictable how much this thing will put down XD It after all retains the stock pistons, but then again, depending on tuning, people have achieved 800+ hp! ON STOCK INTERNALS! I'll not even get close to that because ofc, wangan blastin' and i dont want to blow it up then and there XDDDD but yeah, Waiting patiently till its tuning time! Yeah you did a good call on not being at the garage on drunk mode lmfao. inb4 "instructions unclear, pinky stuck inside turbocharger" XDDDDDDD but yeah man, like i just told Mackay, this one helluva week! and i'd sure love to come back sometime soon, with the Supra complete! ;)

....FLIPPING THINGS AROUND

Yes hello im not ded :D . well not yet at least. been gone for a while again oops. but yeah, some big stuff has happened over the past two weeks

We got back home from Osaka just in time for my "big occasion". IS IT MARRIA- no its not xD. but something i'd say is close to that level.
So as you may recall, earlier on, VERY earlier on, i only said that i moved to Japan for my studies. and thats all i ever said on the topic of studies. Now tho, i really cant help but explain why i even came to Japan, my studies. you may have already guessed the occasion, I HAVE GRADUATED! Got myself a Civil Engineering degree from the University of tokyo at the age of 23! Ngl its a big turning point for me, Just like it would be for every other person who graduated. Life seems to no longer be just acing exams and worshipping books. its a great feeling to know that ive made it through this whole journey as well!

My parents have been very supportive thankfully. they didnt summon me back to the homeland right the fuck now lmao. They in turn encouraged me to stay in GLORIOUS Japan and build up my career!

The other two wholesome bois who share the garage with me, yeah they did their part too. Dunno when they managed to do it but they bought a Regulus rear spoiler for my Supra! and had it painted the same color too!

I was already planning to get some sort of wing for the Supra but the bois surprised me instead lmao. Love how it looks on the car. Love how they actually gifted it to me <3

Since i've now graduated, theres a lot of job options out there that i could apply to. But im rather considering a brief internship somewhere first. Just to increase my chances. Quite a few options here as well for sure. TRD, nismo, STi etc. and non-car organizations too. but lets see what works out in the end

ok going back to the cars now, the Supra progress hasnt ended at the rear wing. it now finally has the braking power to match the grunt!
Got a brand new set of Endless 6piston 330mm big brakes for the front, and a used set of Wilwood 4piston 275mm for the rear. A bit of a mishmash, but the whole setup ofc saved money from like huge brand new brakes all around. and it'll get the job done just as good!

FRONT

And REAR!

and it certainly does the 18" TE's justice now. the old stock brakes looked puny inside the wheel

Up next for the Supra, new suspension components to handle the speed, a powerFC/any other ECU choice, a full tune, and then dialing the tune in for the speed goals im trying to achieve with it. JUST A FEW MORE TWEAKS REMAIN!

Well, now its time to explain the title of the update.

*sigh* here goes

LANCER EVO 9 WAGON
SOLD!

(to local acquaintance Sakamoto-san)

S13 DRIFT CAR
SOLD!

(to none other than my buddy Marc lmao)

The 13 didnt sell with the Cerberus 2's btw. i traded those wheels with AJ if you have checked his RP. (if not, GO PEEP IT). instead i sold it to Marc on my spare MB Design LV1 wheels that were just laying around. (PEEP MARCS RP TOO when he finally finds time to update it)

You may be quite damn confused as to why this has happened. But well, simple answer, i got unhappy, and graduation thoughts kicked in. The S13 needed a whole rebuild, which we planned to do. And the Evo needed a pretty complicated (for me at least) transmission swap done to be good. It was just feeling like a whole bunch of responsibilities to get these cars how i wanted them, and i continued feeling sadder with every passing day. which brings me to the Mercedes, which i have been daily driving. well, it has its own reason of going. Namely because its a V8 from 1995, that too European. it guzzles a lot of gas just to look and feel luxurious, and ofc if anything major goes wrong, my wallet wouldn't be so happy. So yeah, Merc up for sale too. ive fixed the Air conditioning and Replaced the Pioneer head unit with another same unit last week. Equivalent of 6000V$ takes it!

Only thing i dont plan on selling ANY TIME soon, the Supra ofc. Too much attachment with it to just let it go cuz im getting depressed lmao. Nonetheless, dont think im literally quitting cars just because i graduated. like the title says, i just craved a refresh, rather early because i havent own the evo and merc for that long but yeah, felt right. And a REFRESH is what im gonna get for sure! Got something pretty big planned up after the Merc sells!

Welp, thats gonna be all for now. As always thank you for stopping by :)

DIS BOI FINALLY OUT OF SCHOOL! You're moving up in the world yo. I'm pretty glad Marc got the S13, I still really wanna see an S13 around, plus I wanna keep the S13, S14, S15 trio we got going on in the garage. I think it's indeed a good decision for you to let go of a couple of cars, it'll help you manage your build concentration.

Another of the few remaining steps closer to getting the Supra Wangan ready, new suspension components.

With the speed goals im intending to achieve, 25+ year old suspension components was basically death lmao. So yeah, trip to some acquainted UpGarages got me some real good deals on Cusco control arms for all sides, Nagisa Auto tie rods and ends, Some good Polyurethane bushings to replace, TRD Swaybar kit, and ofc some spare grease and other handy things. All done for just 2350V$! took me almost a whole day to get all this stuff installed. And a lot of coffee. And AJ helping me every now and then.

SUSPENSION BALANCED!

Moving on to the merc, i had it listed on some online classifieds a few days ago. where i applied a common trick. i was looking for about 6000V$ for it, So i listed it at 6500V$, so in case people bargain, i still can get what i wanted. plus 6500 wasnt a bad price too comparitively. Got a call from a gentleman from Odaiba about a day or so later, who was willing to buy the car. Weirdly enough, he didnt bargain. At all. He seemed happy with how the car was priced and how it sat.He came to look at it the day after, he's an older person and i could see why he's buying an S-class. But yeah, he didnt change his mind, and i made 500 extra bucks out of the S-class lmao.

Goodbye then. You've been a good daily.

the next day...

AND NOW, the "refresh" i was talking about on my last update, which i did no further ado in accomplishing. with winter coming right up, and all my cars being sold, i needed something thats rather comfy, but sporty too. And most importantly, something i can drop my heart and soul in to just like i did on the Supra, except this time achieving the perfect balance between street and track. i had a few options at hand but this is what it comes down to in the end.

E U R O B O I

FELLAS, SAY HELLO TO MIKA! MY VERY OWN 2003 BMW E46 M3!

these pics are from a quick burger king stop on the way back from Narita, after picking Mika-chan up. also sent these photos on that spot to AJ and Marc to twist their spines a bit before i actually arrive back at the garage lmao.

So yeah. 2003 E46 M3. Manual, OEM Phoneix Yellow Metallic, 98XXX km's on the clock. ONE ON MY BUCKETLIST TO OWN FOR A LONG TIME NOW! so happy i finally have the pleasure! its bone stock inside and out apart from the wheels

Which in fact are 18" Work Emotion M8R's, wrapped in some rather fresh 245/25r18 Continentals.

Interior-wise, its pretty damn clean as many post 2000s BMWs would be. everything mostly works. the seats have some visible wear and tear but no biggie. And its decently comfortable too

And ofc, under the hood, The no-short-of MAGNIFICENT 3.2L straight 6!

THE PRESTIGIOUS BADGING

(lmao)

Driving it down from Narita constantly kept reminding me how much of a right choice i made. Its comfy, the engine is smooth as silk to this date, and ofc packing 343Hp (about 280 to the wheels), its no slouch at all. Not to mention the well set up OEM suspension. And the person i bought it from, Mr. Niklas, Was a German gentleman who moved to Narita about 2 years ago. He had to sell this car pretty urgently for some family matters back home, which i didnt ask about. The car itself was bought by him around the same time he moved here with about 48k miles on the clock. It was well taken care of, and overall just a GOOD BUY! And Now that i have Mika, i want to take my time with her. im fairly confident she wont let me down anytime soon. With the Supra almost done, and now a good base for a PERFECT balanced track build, ngl i do feel better replacing 2 cars with 1. As for drifting now that my S13 is sold, i dont really want to quit it before even properly starting it yet. hmmmm i'll deal with that pretty soon too hopefully

Thats that for now. As always, thank you for stopping by! Hope you like Mika-chan as much as i do! ;)

Added 1 minute later:

Rear subframe reinformecement and upgrade when???

Rollbar when???

Ah man, I am happy that you bought an E46' even tho I am not big fan of fortysix look, but I was thinking of getting one after I sold my Altezza two years ago and before I got my M4' just to use it as a track toy, but I turned my plans around instantly when right E36' popped up for sale. Damn man, you better don't disappoint me and build it correctly and I am sure that you will do it right! Can't wait to see this build take off, I can tell that hanging out in my shop around BMW's got you feeling some kind of way too haha!

....DRIFT DAY!

Y'know, it was starting to get a bit annoying how i've been in Japan for a while now and didnt get to go drifting with friends. With the tough luck i had on my recently sold S13, i had the itch to drift again cuz its been a while. And thats where good ol' AJ (rocketbunnyS13) came in clutch! i brought it up over lunch a few days back, and this man straight throws it out that he had no problem with me shredding his S14! YES, MY OWN OLD CAR! that got me beyond nostalgic and i couldn't really say no at all. I'd have to be careful ofc but thats a challenge i was willing to take.

Informed Nightrunner and Lagano later that day, both of whom agreed to come along to Ebisu! So the next day, we got to the shop pretty bright and early to prepare the cars for the drive to Ebisu, and ofc the drifting itself.

like i've already said, i was STOKED to get a feel for my old pride and joy again, except this time with a wholly different drivetrain. As u know the old 400+hp SR20 was gone, and now replaced with a barebones RB25DET. Aside from that and a rollcage, it still was pretty much the same car.

AJ changed wheels to his Weds Cerberus II's that he recently traded with me, and we both did an all in all checkup of the cars.

a few hours later...

Arrived at Ebisu with AJ, to find Dominik and Lagano already waiting for us at the pits. Such Good lads even had the patience for our arrival xD

CAR CHECK!

Laganos S14. Fairly stock RB26DETT swap. Navan bodykit all around and his own livery, H&R coilovers, SSR Agle Strusse wheels up front, Gramlights T57 RC on the back, and much more.

Nightrunners R34 GT-T. Mildly tuned RB25DET NEO, Work Emotion XT7s all around, Tein Flex Z coilovers.

RocketbunnyS13s S15 Spec-R. Mildly tuned SR20DET VVT, Tein Super Drift Sideways Master coilovers, WISEFAB!

And lastly, RocketbunnyS13s Silvia S14. Also a Mildly tuned RB25DET, tokico RAK coilovers, Gramlights 57Cs all around.

After the usual chitchat and catching up with each other, we all set off for some solo laps. Warming the cars up, ourselves up, getting used to the track and what not

Driving the S14 felt so similar, yet so different. It had much less power yes, but the powerband itself was just a whole other thing. the front also was gripping a tad better cuz of the weight of the RB25. But, nonetheless, i must say driving it was a LOT of fun. the suspension was still dialed in more or less how i set it up. i was probably the most noob person at the event with the least drift-time. so generally it took me a bit longer to get used to sliding again. But gradually after i did, we all met up at the pits again,

and well,

Lets get this bread

yeah these laps were by far the most challenging, adrenaline filled ones of the day. i decided to be at the end of the pack cuz who knows what manuevre i'd mess up and then cause a pile up lmao. But nah i managed to keep my shit straight and not go extreme ham on AJs door

After about 2laps of all four of us maintaining the tandems, we eventually went back to the pits for a cooldown. And were greeted by a pleasant surprise!

Why is a smol red Toyota Vitz a surprise, you may ask. Well, its actually the person that brought it. it was our friend Shez! Recently moved to Japan, but his cars arent here yet so he came by to watch the event, in a rented Vitz.

Well here ends my coverage of the drift event. i guess you could say a "Part 2" will be up on AJs thread soon. including ofc, more drift shenanigans, Nightrunner destroying his fresh painted R34, giving Shez ride alongs, and more!

Moving on to Mika. My E46 M3!

Guess you could say the mods had sorta begun the DAY AFTER purchasing the car lmao. managed to scope a used, sanded down, non-badged CSL trunk from Super Autobacs. dunno how they had one in stock but they did yeah. bought it and sent it straight over to Bennys for a fresh coat of Phoenix Yellow Metallic. Came in day before yesterday, and just ported some of the badging and the trunk taillights over from the OEM trunk.

Then theres the new full carbon fiber front lip, that had to be ordered straight from germany. took just over a week for shipping and came in yesterday. Had that fitted on as soon as it arrived at the garage!

Maybe someday i'll convert to the CSL front bumper. But for now, i really dig how the front lip looks on the car. Maybe even as good as the CSL bumper would lmao

Lastly, the new wheels. Well new to me. I sold the work emotion M8Rs that were on the car 3-4days after pruchase. they fitted the car well but simply werent my style. retained the lug pattern adapter and the tires, kept the car on jacks for a day, copped some Used but clean 18" Advan RGII's in gold! the M8Rs were 9j and so are the RGIIs, so i could transfer the continental tires over to it

FINAL PRODUCT!

As of now i really dont know if i should go a bit further and maybe do a livery for the car? or just leave it as is. but yeah, satisfied with how she sits now! (exterior-wise that is)

Anyways, that'll be it for now. Thank you for stopping by! ;)

Kidding aside, I've always wanted an E46 M3, they're so iconic, lucky you to find an example in this condition too! Congratumilatiorinos!

(Also wrenching on cars at the garage is never a tiring chore, always a good time!)

Thanks my man! indeed. Cars are just so much fun arent they <3

# Smurf : Yo nice find! An E46 M3 should be a bucket list car for anyone who grew up playing Most Wanted. Phoenix Yellow is a hard color to find too.

Indeed it is! ikr luck sorta helped for once
And thanks! :D

# BigSmoke : I agree with Smurfie here, people rarely buy E46s in Phoenix Yellow. Quite a fresh one too you got there, wise choice! :D

Ngl i prefer the Phoenix yellow over the other color choices on the M3. And thank yoo!!

# MACKAY : I LOVE YOU ♥

CSL' bodykit when???

Also congrats on your current life situation, everything is gooood my man!

RIGHT BACK AT YA ♥

subframe reinforcement is probably gonna be the first "performance" mod for this car. Rollbar? Hmmmmmmmmm we shall see ;) is it already about time for another Osaka trip *cough*
And the CSL kit, i plan to go all around CSL apart from the front bumper for now. Kinda wanna rep the simplistic front lip for a while OuO

Yeah man, i'd agree the BMW influence got to me a bit. and i certainly hope i dont disappoint! :D

And thanks my dude! hope all stays well!
