Disclaimer: I am a total noob at making SLRR mods, and the only thing I know how to do is make some 3ds max models. Still, i need a lot of practice with that too, so you veteran modders, please don't get mad at me (well, most of you are very friendly and kind people, but I put this here just for precaution).
I also can't speak english very well, my native language is brazillian portuguese, so sorry for any gramathical errors.

Introduction

I started looking up to Slrr way back in the middle of 2016. I started playing it in the same year, when a friend of mine said he had a copy of 2.0.5, i think. It was a really old-ass version, and I started playing in a computer even older then the game: A big, boxy, old and noisy computer with a near-dead graphics card, 2gb of ram and a pentium 4. I don't even know how it ran the game, but ok. Later on, I got to blue club with a underpowered, bent and stripped einvagen, but then i realised - it wasn't going to change much from there. I knew by then there as the 2.3.1 version, but the computer was so weak it couldn't even run 2.2.1 mwm, so I gave up on it for some time.

A little after 2016 christmas, the computer seemed to be on his last breaths - or should i say bits? Anyway, it seemed to be dying. So i sent it to another friend, who found out it was just some weird problems going one with the cd reader, so he said he would just pull it off, and format the whole thing. He also gave me me 512 extra mb of ddr2 ram as a "gift" (mainly because it was just sitting in his shelves for a long time, his pc was super-mega souped up compared to mine). Meanwhile, I got to know about a good deal: An industry close to me was auctioning some industrial computers: I5 2400, nvidia graphics (64 mb, but still an improvement), 4gb ram, and for some reason, pretty damn OP cooling. Almost 3 times as powerful as my old one, so i bougth it for 200 "reais" (our money, would be about 50 dollars) - really, really cheap. Just so you know, the old one still works really well!

Later on, found about Gom-team (RIP), and after, vstanced. Since then i've been looking up to modding, and my first "mod" was released very recently: A poor stickerpack, but hey, I had to start from somewhere. Yesterday, i installed 3ds max, and i think i'm ready to make my fist decent mod. Earlier today, i modeled two of them:

Yeah. Completely out of scale. But wait: There's more!

NO, no more crappy models. I just have 0 idea on how to make these 2 models into a mod. Like, seriously - i don't even know where to start off, there are no tutorials for this! If please, some of you could help, i will be looking forwards to making more serious mods, with better quality and more content. So... To the questions!

1: how to...everything? Like, where do I even start off?
3: How to make coordinate scripts?
4: how to make it use the rigth slots?
5: How to texture?

resuming it, how to everything.

Fixed their scales, converted to a single object. I also made the piping a little longer.

Starting it off like this, sorry if i sound rude, but you wont find tutorials on "how to breath", some things you need to know by your own(specially the one regarding 3ds max/any 3d or 2d software that you'll need during this trip).

Now;

1 - *LINK* (even if this is applied to rims, it does explain you how to drop everything ingame)
2 - you need 3ds max 5.0/5.1, install it into C:\3dsmax5\scripts\startup\ and check the hammer tool icon on the right side of the right column of 3ds max.
3 - just start out of another exhaust/exhaust mod, you can pick the cfg and java and rename and edit as you need, tips slot is universal anyway
4 - *LINK* this should teach you enough(you will have to make materials and apply textures on max first though)
Harrison15 about PXRZ: he turns everything into a pretzel in his head

1-Thanks!
2-Oh, i have 5.1. Ok.
3-Hum, ok. Nice idea.
4-Thanks again!

Also, about the tutorials on how to breathe, they are not necessary. I have enough computer experience to the point where i can master 3ds max and i think any 2d software. I know how to use Gimp very well, so all i just need is basic knowledge in some SLRR specific things.

Thanks in advance!
