# radcoon :
Lets do this massive friday update thing. But... where to start?
Allright. First thing. I made a move and got a store share. Basically just to keep the stickers and stuff at one place. The other half is a Custom Clothing shop.

I am there usually between 6 and 8 pm every evening. But call first just to make sure.
It might be also the last pic of the cresta like it is right now. ;)

Moving to the AE. So during the days with some help form my people here, I installed a Toda Exhaust System which is ended with a N1 Muffler. It took a lot of bending to get the 1JZ manifold matching but it is in place now. The exhaust I grabbed at upgarage for a quite good deal so I am am happy with it now. But not yet satisfied.

The ECU still needs to be adjusted and half of the bits in the interior are still loose. But as we plan a visit to southern circuit I better get shit together...

So let's hit over to the Osaka Trip. Luckily skip was also heading to MACKAY's place so we shared fuel and I've been able to travel in comfort and not caring my sht with the train.
We arrived in the afternoon so still plenty of time for work and even more to fool around with MACKAY and Erwin. The Cage of the RPS was done and almost all the interior back in the car. Which again surprised me. But slowly I just notice that this is another level of work and quality so I get used to it (ok... I'm still stoked tbh).

So they arranged some space for me to put in my Tein's and just after I picked up the tools, two of the guys started to work on my car as well. No words...

After those been in and adjusted, thx again, we jumped into Erwins ER34 and man, he handles the thing even worser than expected! Nah, just kidding. Hell of fun. And yes... MACKAY and me been holding hands. No need to be jealous! ;) Talking about Erwin. I gotta say it's really great to see him around here. He's actually sucking info like a sponge and is absolutely excited. His rides became also another step forward! I think skip might agree as well.
So rest of the evening we spend with Asahi and Sake (two really good dudes) and as I have a place to crash in Osaka at a special Person's I showed up today around noon.
Got the RPS back together.

We kind of hang in the shop for a while then. Helping here, fooling around there... Just before I headed back to Tokyo. Tomorrow... EBISU!

Oh... last but not least. The Cresta in it's shape just now...

# MACKAY : Congrats on your new store man! I am very happy about that! Oh, and btw thanks for those stickers!
Also thanks a lot for choosing our shop once again, you know that we ain't there to disappoint our customers! Eh, those coilovers.. How much time did it take to install all four? Like 15-20 minutes? We definitely know how to save "some" time doing things haha.
Ohh, my man, I see that you made a move, congrats and don't fuck up, because you know.. B)

Can't wait to spend some time in Tokyo now, we are definitely coming next week!

Oh thx man. I like it a lot and in a couple of months I might run it full time. We'll see.

20 Minutes? Damn... it took me an hour to remove the first one. While your guys almost started putting stuff together.

Try my best not to mess up.... B)

# skip : Congrats about the shop like Mackay said. If I get this practice car I'll also be at Ebisu so I'll meet you there for some dori action :)

Thx buddy! Oh that is nice. Another exciting day to look forward to.

Congrats on the store baby ! I'm really happy that you enjoyed all that ER34 hoonage ! What do you think about a whole weekend at Ebisu next week ? The ER definitely needs to hit a track soon !

Really great choice on those Teins man ! Tein makes some really nice coilovers ! My Supra feels perfect running on Teins. Me and Mackay will be in Tokyo next week, so don't make any plans , this time we're visiting you ! Also , thank you for the kind words man !

Anyway , your shop is doing really well ! I can't wait to meet again next week and sit in the passenger seat of the AE , I really wanna see how the car feels. Maybe we could hit the Wangan in the future , it's up to you ! Me and Mackay are going on the Wangan tonight and man , I'm really hyped to see how his R34 pulls , that thing's got a lot of horsepower !

Thx Fam. Whenever you come for a visit to Jap let me know. Would be great to meet up.
Yeah, the work they do is just outstanding. Worth every penny. I might say this is the same level like RWB, Kidsheart or MCR.

EBISU

So small update on the RPS13. After I came back from Osaka I went to pick up some bit's I got on yahoo. Some wide steeleeees and a quite okay Gias that had rails for the RP on so a easy install.
I swapped the pair of gram lights I had with some Longchamps XR4's so the RPS sits on 15" now.

If you know someone with a pair of XR4's let me know! Well I also went a bit sticker crazy during the night. :)
Oh and I installed the Nardi i had left from the AE :)

Early morning met with skip and we headed to Ebisu. It was not as crowded as we expected. Maybe 15 cars at Meihan? Plenty of space!

I never been drifting with skip and is was pretty surprised! Nice to watch. Hard to chase! :)
Sadly most of the time I suffered a bit on heating issues. Maybe because I had to push it really hard to catch up. Idk yet.
Of course some shots been taken on course!

Ha! it might look like we're close. Actually I threw my self in, and skip had a smooth line!

Well and here we go with the afternoon shot....

With some illegal tire condition :), I headed back as I wanted to visit some garages and see if I could source some race stickers!
Which I did. :) Shop gets updated during the week!

Both of you did really great job at the Ebisu, I am sure that you will get used to 180SX in no time as I believe it is a little bit different than drifting an 86'. I should really start preparing my GTT for drifting activities as I really want to do proper drifting again..

Yeah, well tires been pretty done at the end. Yeah, I will need to sort that out. Put some more cash into the RPS any way.

Takes time buddy. Good thing are worth to wait for.

So guys. Saturday Ebisu Sunday it was Southern circuit. Met up with skip and we went for the 4 hour drive to reach サザンサーキット.
We met up with the other guys and had a nice set of 11 AE86'S running the highway. We arrived around 12 and spend several hours on and off the track.

So i am really happy with the JZ86 :) Plenty of power and the weight distribution is not as bad as I expected. I ordered camshafts and a aftermarket bridge which should arrive in a couple of days. So We should bring the 1JZ a good step forward.

Keep you updated. Still stuff on the car I am not 100% with. I think there are some supra and a Skyline i need to compete with.

Here is at least one shot of skip's AE.

Back the evening we took out the engine of the GX81. I should get a transition soon. So we could fit in the 1JZ on this one.

So far. That's it from here. The next days I will she the S13 some love as we should get high welcomed visits from Osaka. So long... cheers.

Update time Lad's.
Well What happened. We had Erwin over. Simply a great weekend! Lot's of car talk, lot's of BBQ! Took him for a spin around Tokyo for some sticker hunting. So I think he know's a couple of the guy's here now so it makes more sense for him to come over more often :)

Car wise...
The Trueno is almost in pieces and will head to blasting soon.

Next couple of weeks I'll take the engine to MACKAY so the guys can do they're magic to make it as new as possible. No crazy Swaps on this one.

Talkin' Swaps. The 1JZ AE is on the Market. I am happy with the result overall. But at this point I force my "supra" issue. Idk what to do next. It turned into a crazy thing. And I hope the new owner will love the little thing as much as I do.

The GX got his engine in place.

With the help form Erwin we installed a used Set of AP Racing Brakes and a 4H convertion of the Wheelhubs. Simply to install my nice "new" Longchamps... :)
Thank again buddy!

I got some over fenders which we aligned and I think some welding will go on during this week. So I look forward to a complete redo of the Cresta. Wide and loud and mean!
MACKAY started to work on an exhaust so I get to Osaka soon!

That is basically it. Well the sticker shop runs like hell also thx to you guys! If anyone has special requests let me know so I see what we could do!

Yo , I had so much fun this weekend ! You gotta come to Osaka more often , that's for sure ! ;)

Kinda sad to see the AE go , but hey , you gotta make a change to move forward. Anyway , that car was sick and I really hope you'll manage to sell it asap , I'm sure that someone will buy it soon , because as you know , that is a quality built car ! It's worth every penny , I would've bought it but the Z is an ongoing project so yeah , it's all gonna be good in the end ! Don't worry about it !

You're already selling your 1JZ AE86? :( Well i guess you're in the same situation as me, i'd love to have it but one 86 is enough haha.

Cresta looks so mean! I don't know how that fitment will work though, wheels are too wide even with overfenders. :P You might wanna raise it up a bit.

Well we'll see. I guess it will leave the country any way. As overseas they pay more for AE's in general.

Yeah... couple of facts.... one surely is that I have a black limited. And I like to keep my cars a bit outstanding ;) Well who doesn't right?
For the cresta... Yes... as this stance looks mean but your right. I think you noticed the distance form the disk. They have those distance plates attached to the wheel. (don't ask me why). And with the 4H conversion the car is a little :) bit wider than expected. Still a lot do do. And somehow it opened up to way more changes than I wanted to do in the first place.

So update time, right?
Not much but also a lot to talk about.

First of all the AE86 1JZ is gone, well got sold. It's leaving to the States. One eye crying. But now it fills the wallet to work on other stuff. Like the RPS13.

Painted the shell with a couple of can's in grey. And the new exhaust from MACKAY also arrived couple of days ago. So I am setup for more Ebisu on Sunday.

Besides that the Stickershop runs smooth! And yeah. I got another car. Basically it was the reason why I got rid of the AE in the first place.

It is a low milage Nissan S15 Spec-S with some upgrades. Made in July 1999. No I am not going full Nissan now. Just for my planned project the S15 should be nice base. It came with a Spec-R Brake Set and some RO_JA wheels. Which I will flip soon.
Oh yeah. It was 949,000 YEN wich is around 8500 V$. I'll take it to Osaka soon. To get some work done on it which I can't do by myself.
Plans... yes! ;)

So far.. that's it now. Guess I update the Toyota Stuff later this Weekend.

And yes, the new one will be of the hook! We still work on the disassembling so we'll figure something out.
Exhaust is just perfect dude. Sounds sick! Performes just like a HKS one. Or even better. I am stocked af dude!

This time a proper update.
Starting withe the Trueno Black Limited. It got back from the Blasting and it is not as bad as expected. The left door will be replaced as well as the front fenders. Some work needs to be done to close all the holes the rust left, And I continue to train my welding skills on that. Sure with help as this needs to look just perfect at the end! But don't expect a great work update soon as this will take time.

Moving to the Cresta. The distance discs are now removed and replaced with thinner ones to get a nice smooth transfer from the over fenders to the wheels.
I pushed the GX81 out of the garage to take this picture. It is now ready for a new paint job so this should happen soon. It will be a sort of livery but so far I didn't have the final design on paper.

Engine Wise I am very thankful for the guys at the Vstanced shop as they sorted a TRD ITB Setup for the 1JZ. So far I didn't fire up the engine as still some parts need to be sourced.

Now the big part of this update. The S15. Mainly time got spend with disassembling the car. With the help of skip and MACKAY i got my hands on a late low milage RB26DET. It came w/o the turbos or anything so we can start very fresh on this one. The whole engine built will be done under the supervision of MACKAY in Osaka. Now it is sourcing parts.

No, this is not really mounted. And yes it is a complete Vertex bodykit including the widekit and the FRP hood. I think you get a rough idea about where the S15 will go at the end.

What we changed mainly on the car so far, is the improved engine bay. I will not go for a bashbar. So I reduced weight where I could and added some support sheets of metal so get it stiffer where needed.

Next to this improvement, I went for some brand new Tein N1's. They should support the needed adjustability and suit for all uses. Here I need to say, those are the first brand new coilovers I ever bought! :) Besides them I made a lucky score with a set of early stage R34 GTR brembo brakes. So the Toyota guy stay's as Nissan as possible.

The S15 stretches my wallet a lot! As you can see at the end of this post. But I call it worth it. Most S15 are show or drift builts. So I am happy to built something unique. With some help from my friends!
I like to thank all customers of the Sticky Rice Cake shop. It helps to gain the money for this project!

Oh... yeah I took a half day of Saturday. I needed to pick up some stuff for the Upcoming R - Meeting and so I had a little fun at Misami :)

Sure, same pickspot as last time but still a great pic! And not capturing me loosing my rear bumper. :)

Thanks for watching and reading guys!

S15 with Vertex wide body kit and a RB swap? Wow. That's basically my favorite S15 build. Nice work on the Cresta too, fitment looks better now although rear wheels still look too wide, maybe that's just me. And a 1JZ with ITB's is just awesome, i've never seen one before!

Thanks man! Mine too! :) Cresta goes well indeed. I think on the pix the fitment looks different as it is. Front and rear align really nice now. Thx for the kind words man.

So where to start this time?.... This recent days quite some stuff happened. I had Erwin over at my place for a couple of days and it was a blast. We gave his R33 a new look with our first livery done with the new printer. He was again helpful putting my Cresta back together and firing it up for the first time.

Oh yes, Kokanium, Tao and me went for a cruise around town. Showing off in good old shatokan manor.

So the gx81 is newly painted in red/white referring to the old toyota race liveries. Of course I stickered a bit ;)

This Specter window banner is an homage to one of the biggest bozo gangs around which is not existing in it's original kind since 2004. As you know my Shop I have original Specter stickers which I got form they're hq bar which is now a great place to hang out and listen to stories form the old days. Maybe it might be just a vinyl graphic but to me it means a lot, to be allowed to put it on my car. On of the kanji's refers to "supporter". I always been fascinated by this culture so I am really stocked....

Technical wise the last bits have been a koto-radiator and all the wiring. The 1JZ sounds amazing on low rpm already but I didn't push it to far yet. Having a NOS (new old stock) engine... amazing.

At this point I am quite happy with the Cresta but still got some to-do's like the interior and the head cover of the 1J. Oh and yeah, the new manifold came again from MACKAY. Thx a lot buddy!

My RPS13.... :D In the last update I'll got the last time a picture of a quite good looking car :). I Managed to head to Ebisu two more times and basically took the sh.. out of it. It simply feels great and I make good progress on my dori skills. Yeah... sure some touches here and there... :D.

A great score or gift from the guys of NRI came the other day. One of they're vertex x NRI wheels. I think it proofs we do good with SRC shop! It totally stands out. As it is the only new part of the car. :) We also might get another one for the shop ;)

So last one for today is the S15. I spend a bit on new Bride bucket's and take belts. Also a new sparco wheel with quick release. I went though a lot of wheels to find one that simply grips and feels the best for me. The next days the Silvia will be at the paint booth. As we also finished the custom mounts for the RB26 and it's transmission.

Yepp... went gauge crazy. I got a set of HKS vent gauges and a setup from Defi. As you see I'm still wiring.

That's it for now. And I think the next big update needs some time as I am quite low on recourses :) Yeah the S15 soaks all the money. But It surely pay's off! The RB26 is in Osaka to get it's special treatment by Mr.M. Anyone knows a good bank? Mean one I could rob... :d

So far... thx for reading.

Haha , it was so fun to hang out with you man , big kudos for wrapping my R33 ! Also , if you ever need help with some work or anything , make sure to tell me ! I'm always up to help you out ! ;)

Also , amazing cars as always ! I really your shakotan styled gx81 ! That thing is sick and the 1J sounds really nice !

Looks like you beat the crap out of the RPS ! Don't worry , there's plenty of them around the world so next time you bash it up , don't feel bad about it ! :D

And looks like you're going all out with the S15 ! I wasn't expecting you to go so far with it but damn ! It's gonna be a beast and it's gonna rip the streets that's for sure ! The dashboard started looking like an airplane cockpit with all those gauges , but I really like them ! They're sick ! I'm really curious how it'll turn out , but one thing is for sure , it'll be the sickest S15 around !

Wow those Crestas look so good! Nice job on the livery, i'll have to make something Toyota inspired for my 86 too! S13 is starting to get that missile look, i see. :P Looks like you had a lot of fun drifting it just like i did yesterday! I tried out the 86 at a drift event, it was awesome! I'll post some pics of that soon. I like the progress on your S15 too, it's making you broke but don't let that stop you, you'll make it a real beauty! :)

For the S15... go hard or go home right? haha. Well I might need to keep up with a couple of cars around here :)

I try my best on the S15. :)

Those Crestas.. :-X How come I never seen yours properly.. I guess I really need to take a break to catch up with all you guys, been doing my own thing for way too long. Eh, poor RPS haha, I still remember when it was fairly decent back when I worked on it, but now you just ruined it, in the good way obviously haha! Make sure to keep it alive till I finish my GTT, so we can drift together! Also yeah, your RB is definitely in the good hands, welcome to the family man. Your S15 will be one hell of a car, successor of my S14 that you drove a lot haha, I still have hopes that you will make it white and clean, just the way we do man, but that things is up to you, we all know you can do some crazy things with liveries and so on, so yeaah. Can't wait to see what will future brings us.
