UNDERDOG

-✘ Guess who's back ? If you were wondering I am alive and well and I obviously did not die at Wangan lol, the reasons behind my inactivity were related to work, new projects, my shop and social life, also a lot of crazy business things happened lately. Basically a lot of shit happened in those forty days or so. This is just a sneak peak as I will be doing a complete overview as usual later this week, but for now I am going to drop this picture here to leave you guessing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ✘-

See ya soooon

COMING IN HOT
-✘ Well.. Promised update. Here we go. ✘-

-✘ Before I start, I want to say that this post marks one year of me being here, long story short - it was one hell of a year, a lot of shit happened. But this post is not about that, it is about things happened in the past two months and half, and I kid you not, it was probably one of the most exhausting, stressful and tiring but very rewarding months in my life, you will see why a little bit later. Newly established business, partnership with my friend Shao, got sponsored by tires brand, and hopefully there will be even better things in upcoming months as we are almost ready to take off in the racing world. Oh. ✘-

-✘ First things first I guess ? Lets talk about my E46 as it is completely different car now, well kinda. To make things clear, I sold my Nismo, and before you ask, yes I regret it, but whatever, I will get a new one soon enough. So BMW was my new daily car till recently, that's why I decided to make it good and not trashy as it was before. So, long story short I invested some money and time into it - E46 got boosted and modified in and out. As you can see exterior undergone major changes, the car was repainted in somewhat "Hell-Rot red" color, so no more battle scars and rust issues, for now.. Custom made aluminium front splitter which I made was put on solely for aggressive looks, duck tail was installed too. Clear corner headlights and taillights were gifted to me by Russians from Tokyo, they owe some things to me lol. Also as you can see the car is no longer on RPF1's as I bought Work Meister replica wheels for it. Before you ask, yes it now sits on coilovers too, as I bought second hand Aragosta front and rear coilovers, and adjusted it to my liking. Now lets talk about engine.. M52B28 got "mildly" boosted and now is pushing around 300 horsepower when daily driving on low boost and when there is need I can turn the boost up and we will be seeing numbers in low 400's but considering the fact that I am still on stock internals I don't want to ruin reliability, everything was custom made by me and my crew. As for the turbo I choose HKS GT II 7460 which was made for Lancer Evo's in mind. Also such parts as HKS intercooler, HKS Super SQV III blow off valve, HKS Gauges, manual boost controller, Walbro GSL392 fuel pump and 550cc injectors went into this setup, can't remember other unimportant small pieces. Oh, also the differential was replaced to shorter ratio one from 328i auto, so we went from 2.93 to 3.46, which made quite a difference in acceleration. ✘-

-✘ Also I guess it is time to finally put photos from Nikko event which everyone forgot I guess? I am not going to write anything fancy about it as other guys that went there posted a lot of cool things, so I am just going to drop best pictures here only. The guy that was taking photos was mainly focused on me and 11kRPM, but I want to say that everyone did amazing there. ✘-

-✘ Now lets talk about that "underdog" thing for a little bit, right? Well, as everyone remembers I bought my R32 with the intention of making it full spec Time Attack race car to compete around Japan and possibly even more, but plans changed and I decided to keep it as a "Wangan toy". So as an alternative I bought an underrated RPS13 for 4,5k in "decent" condition, it was running one, but shitty af, a lot of bodywork needed as many exterior parts doesn't align and so on, was used as "fun car" by someone else, but never been in crash or something similar, so everything else is fine, perfect base for our build. Yes it is "our" race car, because I partnered with Shao and our shops are building it together, I am paying for car and doing everything considering bodywork, suspension, and major other things, he and his crew is responsible for engine building and wiring, so it means that this build is basically split in 50/50 both by finances and work. ✘-

-✘ As usual, I fabricated roll cage, custom aero, reworked suspension, brakes system, cut out unnecessary parts of the car, weight reduction things and so on.. Just your usual race car things. Keep in mind that as I am writing this the car is already around 85% done, you will see the current form a little bit later down below. ✘-

-✘ And as for R32.. It haven't changed a lot, only widebody fenders, and custom made diffuser and splitter made by me were installed, oh, and also "humble" remap on E85 was done, so now it is officially passed the 1000hp mark, as we made consistent runs achieving 101(X)hp.✘-

-✘ I guess that everyone thought that I bought R34, sadly, but no I did not.. It is my friends car, which our crew and me will be rebuilding in our spare time. Beaten R34 GTR 1999 Series 1 actually. You will see more of this car later in the future. ✘-

-✘ Now lets talk about the forgotten Z'.. Yes, you guessed it. I decided build it before spring and we actually managed to do it even faster, of course most of the work was done by other guys which I paid money to, as I was busy working myself, only engine and other finishing touches was done by me.. As I have said before I am taking similar route as I did with Cressida, as it will be "restomod" too if you can call it that way. Most of the parts were replaced by new or sourced trough mutual connections, so I am confident to say that my Z' is in amazing shape, better than new in my opinion. As usual, dark purple color, must do thing of my restoration projects as you see, haha. Before I start talking about the engine I want to say some things about suspension as it is running on not your ordinary coilovers, because I haven't found any coilovers which I like, I had them custom built by TEIN Japan, expensive but worth it and of course unique. Also custom made disc brake kit for the rear and upgraded front, also I bought Watanabes wrapped in my fav' tires Proxes, #alreadysponsored. Oh and interior was completely resewn in light brown color, my all time favorite interior. ✘-

-✘ As for the engine.. At first I was thinking of keeping the stock L24 or upgrading to a better L28 stroker or so, but after long thinking I bought RB25DE with 5 Speed manual transmission. Of course as you know me, I modified the engine a "little" bit with custom parts, and instead of going turbo I choose to stay NA and went with ITB setup, so we are looking at 225hp, which is more than enough in my opinion for such cars, ain't no race car there, just a quick good looking Z'. ✘-

-✘ Situation in the garage at the beginning of the January. Who's mans is that white RPS ? Oops..✘-

-✘ Now the fun part begins, lets talk about our Silvia.. I am not going to do a full in depth review of it now, I want to make a complete post about it sometime in the future, when it is completely finished. So for now just basic important things. The car is sitting on Tein Super Racing Coilovers accompanied with custom suspension setup which was made by me, of course there is room for improvement, but it is good for testing stages, also PB BBK both front and rear 6 POT calipers, front being 356mm and rear 330mm, astonishing braking power. I believe everyone is thinking what kind of bodykit is this, I bought an authentic GP SPORTS G-SONIC EVOLUTION body kit and modified it a little bit, of course the car is still missing big wing and crazy front splitter, which I will make later in future. Stock hatch was also replaced by BN SPORTS Hatch. As for interior, brand new Recaro Pole Position seat, Nardi wheels. As for the wheels I went with R18 Motegi Racing MR401 wrapped in R888 Tires, 265' front and 305' rear, looks awesome and very functional in my opinion. And as for the engine.. We are keeping SR20.. Well, to be more specific SR22 as we stroked the engine, Shao did amazing job at modifying it, will be pushing big numbers, mark my words, easily in 700 or 800 hp range, maybe more, we will see. Can't say more now, wait till the full review in upcoming month or so. Here is some pictures of its current form, still missing livery and stuff, but those things will come last. ✘-

-✘ Good things did not stop there, as I got a new "daily" car for myself a week or so ago, and yes it is one of the cars that I wanted for a long time, I actually even tried to buy such car last year in the January lol, but I didn't won any bids.. It is a Series 8 1998 Mazda RX7 RS, everything I wanted from a RX7, a 280ps engine, 5 speed manual and etc, this will be my new "daily" project car, which I will keep, I want to make it as beautiful as possible as it has few problems here and there, but overall very nice condition, nothing I can't handle, and the 13B is in good condition too. It is still painted in original Pure White color, and is completely stock in and out, the only things that is added or changed are extra temperature gauges, and BBS RM wheels, which I will be replacing very soon. Yes I know some of you might say I made a huge mistake going rotary, but whatever, I like those engines a lot, always been fascinated by them, lately my love for FD's and rotaries were growing, and I just had to get them, I don't know why, but those cars remind me of my "young" days when I used to ride 2-stroke motorbikes haha, the smell and everything that rotary makes, ahh.. This will be kinda "show car" status car, but I am not going to "baby" it either, it will see some action too. Here is some photos from my trip to Hakuba, I wanted to see some snow, and went there with my wife for a "weekend getaway". Take a look. ✘-

-✘ And now the current situation in the garage, picture that I took today. All I can say is that my garage are growing and growing day by day, now I theoretically own six cars. I am sure that by the end of this year I will have my dream garage and all the cars I want, that's the goal, more or less I will try to achieve it, we will see what 2018 brings us. ✘-

-✘ Well, that's kinda it for now.. I think I will be doing more, but smaller updates as my main focus now is the RX7 and RPS13, so I will try to keep you updated as much as I can, remember that I am working full time in my shop, and doing various things on the side to fuel my wallet and etc, basically hustling day in day out which means I have very limited time to focus on social media and so on.. Anyways, thanks guys everyone, see ya all soon. ✘-

-✘ Update and review of last fifty days.. ✘-

-✘ Ahh.. Another update out of nowhere right ? Who missed me haha ? Long story short I was absent for quite a lot again but here I am.. A lot of shit happened again in those "two" months or so, and you better believe me when I say this. So here we go right? ✘-

-✘ First things first, I want to talk about the GTR as it was out of the picture for a long time.. And before you ask, yes, the R32 is just sitting in the corner of the shop all the time and collecting dust lol.. In the last three months it only saw road for like five or six times, doing total of sixty kilometers.. It's like animal locked in cage, 1000HP car sitting in garage. I am afraid the GTR is becoming showroom status car, we will see what future brings for it. If you have any serious offers for it then hit me up, might sell it if the person and offer is right, so only seriously interested please, don't waste our time. Those things aside the GTR got some changes too, SARD GT wing was taken off, front bumper was replaced by Top Secret one, I also replaced original hood to fiberglass lighter one, now the front is very sleek, don't worry about cooling which grill provided, new bumper and it's bigger ducts compensates for it. Also the widebody and new parts was paint matched to the original color, looks awesome in my opinion, stealthy. ✘-

-✘ Also lets talk about FD as it undergone few changes. Long story short the suspension got upgraded and the OEM shock absorbers were replaced with TEIN Mono Sport coilovers, I also installed EDFC so now I can change damping levels on the fly. Also now it is sitting on ADVAN TCIII R18 Wheels wrapped in R888's. The exterior got some changes too, rear taillights and windows got tinted, my friend "Affinis" sent me some Final Form goodies including window banner, shirts and so on to congratulate me on buying a RX7. Original muffler was replaced with a'pexi N1 Evolution muffler, also I reworked the exhaust system a bit. But the best part is that I installed sleek style headlights, C-West N1 front bumper and C-West NIII side skirts, also simple rear diffuser was made by me. Slowly gaining that show car status as I said, only "few" things are missing and I will be happy haha.✘-

-✘ Lets not forget the Time Attack RPS as it is "finally" finished, only last bits of tuning and setting it up left. Last parts of aero was made and put on the car, massive front splitter, reworked rear diffuser and big wing which legs was machined by us. Also lets not forget the fact that we changed rear end setup and now we are running with tubed frame as everything was cut off, fuel cell and dry sump is also in the back for weight balance. The tubed frame won't affect downforce because we are running flat underbody, this thing will stick to the road like a F1 car. I am not going to talk about interior and will let the photo do the talking, it feels like you are inside a jet fighter. Eh, engine specs is still under NDA, but I can tell that it is already 850HP. We will go public and reveal everything on our first debut. ✘-

-✘ Also we already been to Tsukuba for some testing and adjustments, judging from the results the RPS is very promising, no doubt one of the fastest privateer cars in Japan now. RPS looks very promising both on and off the track, lapping the track in solid numbers, and we are talking about less than a minute without pushing it at all. ✘-

-✘ The E46 undergone only cosmetic changes as I reworked rear diffuser, made new exhaust system with four pipes coming out the back, also I put the SARD GT wing that was on GTR, only for aggresive looks. But those things aside, the E46 is now long gone as I sold it to ParkerFM01 about a week ago, he is running some kind of car blog, so it will be interesting to see what he will do with it, goodluck to him! ✘-

-✘ Also before selling the E46 I went to Ebisu and participated in STC88's Drift Con Event, sadly I did not took any podium place, but had a great time, other guys did amazing there, also had opportunity to meet other guys which I haven't seen for a long time. So yeah, I am already participating in round 2 and I am already here practicing and adjusting car, so wait till you see my entry run with new car. ✘-

-✘ As the weather is finally good, I am finally driving my 240z, feels so good to be behind this car steering wheel. My new daily driver, the looks and feelings I get while driving it is unexplainable. Couldn't be happier how this car turned out. ✘-

-✘ Lets not forget that we decided to sell Wife's GT86.. We thought it would be good to have a bigger car, so we got rid of GT86 and bought her a BMW F11 528i 2013. I had a M-Sport 550i F10, so now its time for F11 haha. Overall the car is in very good condition, it will be perfect for her, also it has newer N20B20 four cylinder turbocharged engine which produces 240 horses. Will keep it stock, maybe only nicer wheels and a remap will be done in the future. ✘-

-✘ Now lets talk about the new drift car. Some of you already seen it in Ebisu or in my garage, so here it is. I bought the notoriously undriftable car as majority of people say, the S2000! I know what you are thinking, but don't worry, this thing can go sideways as good as other rwd car.. Of course I needed to adjust my driving style to be able to handle this car going sideways. More importantly we needed to do some major changes to the car itself as it is very neutral chassis car, grip machine in its stock form.. ✘-

-✘ Damn, while driving S2K I feel like I am eighteen again and driving my first car E36 which I wrapped around light pole in 2010.. No surprise why such thing happened I guess. Anyways, spent first day after buying it hooning it around city and Wangan. Ain't no supercar, but it is so fun to drive! You have to be very focused or you will end up in the wall. ✘-

-✘ First things first I fabricated custom rollcage for it myself and stripped interior too. Also the engine head was rebuilt too, new gaskets, seals and other stuff, new oil and coolant, so now everything is just as good as new. Straight pipe for better response was fabricated too. Because of weight distribution the OEM gas tank was removed and instead I placed racing fuel cell in the back of the car, of course some cutting happened too, but that didnt affect low center of gravity, everything went well as I had my "mentor" on the phone consulting me, Gary Castilo from "Design Craft", he is the man that built RS*R drift car S2000 back in the day, so he knows his shit, he is something I look up to. My S2K also received Trust radiator, Exedy Carbon D Single plate clutch, TM WORKS MSI IGNITION system, because of the new fuel cell new WALBRO GSL392 fuel pump was installed. Lets not forget the other cool rare bits I bought for it. I also got myself a Spoon strut bar, Craft Square mirrors, Bride seats and Nardi wheel with Shao's handbrake. Lets not forget suspension as I will be running on some baller' shit, I got lucky and without thinking I bought an ASM SRE-1S Coilovers, the retail price on one those coilovers is nine grand, but I found them for third of the original price, yes it is not new, but still, show me someone else who has another pair. Racing Spec brake discs and pads were installed too and the car now sits on Enkei RPF-1 R17 wheels. Also for drifting activities COOL-D ( now known as 1020 ) parts were installed, such as shorter steering knuckles, camber plates, and steering gear box, which gives me massive angle, now the S2K has all the things it was lacking. Oh I also fabricated rear bash bar and front splitter with fender wents from aluminum, just to make it more agressive looking. After everything was installed adjustments began. ✘-

-✘ After the car was "complete we spent whole day tuning and adjusting it in the Meihan track, we set the suspension perfectly to my liking and to my preference, so I had no trouble going sideways with it. So now we will see how it will do against big boys at Ebisu. ✘-

-✘ Two daily drivers in one place. His and hers you know haha, should I wrap the F11? ✘-

-✘ As I said, right now I am at the Ebisu circuit, so come and say hi if you see me and take a better look at S2K haha. ✘-

-✘ Thats kinda it I guess? I will probably update you all when I come back to Osaka, so keep an eye open for update guys, peaaaace. ✘-

I already told you that the S13's splitter is huge, what should i say now? :)) Well it's a time attack car so it's there for a purpose, right? RX7 looks good too, you could've kept the wing on it though or even got one like on your E46. And you made some pretty good runs at Ebisu with that S2000, but when you get a bit more used to it you'll drift like a madman!

Thanks man! Nothing special about that 528i but if you have any questions just ask lol. Yeah, I seen you around, but sadly I was already leaving when you guys came, let's meet tomorrow for some tandems or whatever, long time no see, you know? I believe that you guys are having a blast too, and oh boi, your JZX is crazy, all runs you did were awesome!

Yeah, I remember, I told you that it will be even bigger later in the future haha, it is like a grim reaper now with such blades on the front, scythes you know! :)) Right, everything was done to increase downforce and grip. I am already considering which wing should I get, can't decide which one should I take, we will see. Thanks Lagano, I tried my best right now, lack of torque in low revs made it hard for me but I am not complaining, also running in a new car is quote a challenge, but I adapted quickly, I feel better in S2K than I did in E46. The only madman right now is you man, your final run is craazy, spectacular S14 and driver behind it wheel!

This is just awesome! I decided not to participate for Round 2 sadly because of the power the car had.

I had to sacrifice the clutch to complete the course session, then I could not take back this car in one shape. Glad to see your awesome builds!

NEW BEGINNING

-✘ Haven't updated in while, so lets get straight to the point. Remember when I said that I was doing a lot of business related things and etc.. Yes, you read that title right, the time has come to start a new episode and "advance" a little. A lot of things happened in those two weeks, moved into new shop, sold R32 and Z, signed few deals and so on.. You will find out about everything a little bit later. ✘-

-✘ First things first as always. Literally nothing new happened in my garage considering my cars, as I was working and dealing with stuff most of the time. The only changes were that I put Advan TC III's from RX7 on S2K and borrowed a Mugen hard top from Shao's friend for a few days, oh and also installed rear bumper over bash bar for cleaner look, so now S2K looks not as aggressive as before. And that's it. Despite the fact that I was busy most of the time, I couldn't turn down offer to go to local touge to test Shao's newly built GT86 drift car. So we loaded his VW van with tires and went there, spent like six hours there. Holeecrab where ya at, you have a rival now lol. Long story short it is 2012 GT86 completely built to D1GP standards, engine swapped to single turbo 1JZ making around 700HP and etc. You get the idea. ✘-

-✘ I also spent some time behind the wheel too as I have most drifting experience of all us, and oh man, that car goes sideways like crazy. Thankfully Kevin was with us, so he decided it would be great idea to make a video. Business like usual, few beauty shots, and GoPro cameras set around the course, and before you ask, yes it is me behind the wheel in the video, was pushing the car to its limits that day. After driving this GT86 I finally realized that S2K is such a hard platform to build a drift car, but I won't give up. Ahh, I need to do something with my S2K too.. Anyways here is the video. ✘-

-✘ Oh, I also lost my all interest in the RX7.. Seriously, I don't even want to see this car in my garage anymore. Don't get me wrong, I really love rotary engines and RX7's in general, but I just don't see myself owning this car in the long run anymore. I just don't need it anymore. It was fun while it lasted. So now it will just sit in the corner of the shop, I might do some work on it and then sell it as a track tool for someone, we will see. Anyone have any offers? ✘-

-✘ We spent like full week moving into new place after everything was signed and agreed upon. We moved all the furniture, equipment and tools from both my and Shao's garages. This place is a lot smaller than my previous one, but a lot better, better location, also have an office space and so on, so it will be good for our business. We signed contract for two years because we are renting it, we will probably extend the contract later on. We splitting the rent with Shao. We can't afford to buy or build such garage right now because it would require a lot of money, hundreds of thousands if not more, so all we can do now is rent. A lot of awesome things are coming, such shop was a must in my opinion, so we will see.. ✘-

-✘ Remember when I said that I might be selling my R32 ? Well the time has come and I sold it. I am not going into detail, but such decision was made considering current situation in life. Good thing is that I sold it to a person which I trust, to my friend Lagano, so I am sure he will take care of it. I believe he will update you guys in his own topic, so all we have to do is wait, all I know is that everything went fine and the GTR is already in Yashio. It was one hell of a ride with this car, many memories, this GTR won't be forgotten. Lagano, take care of it like it is your child, I will be coming for a visit once in a while to see how it is lol. Wife took a picture of Lagano rolling at the expressway right before I took the exit. Strange feeling seeing it driven by someone else, but knowing that it is in good hands puts a smile on my face. See you again.. *insert Wiz Khalifa - See You Again* ✘-

-✘ Lets not forget the Z', right? After briefly chat with Rocky Autos decision was made to sell it as I already had buyers lined up. So it was sold and is already on its way to Russia, Moscow will be its new home now. Thanks again to Russians from Tokyo, connections help a lot. I said that I will keep it but eh, money don't wait and I can always build another one, I might even restore few more later this year to sell, we will see. I am already looking for another Z', hakosuka or kenmeri, I just need to find one worth buying and building one. Literally spent like 7 months working on this Z, so yeah, a lot of time and money went into it. But whatever, better things coming soon! *insert Wiz Khalifa - See You Again V2* ✘-

-✘ Even though I moved into new shop, signed few business deals and sold my two beloved cars I also have to announce one more thing. Because my birthday is coming I talked my wife into letting me make probably biggest financial mistake in my life, so I bought something which I wanted for a long time but never had money for it, always said later, when the time is right, but the time is never right, you have to do it when you have opportunity, so I did. I am not going to reveal it right now, but maybe you will understand, I am going to blur it out, but all I am going to said is that I could have bought a new 911 or a Ferrari for that money, can't wait to show it to you guys. Probably will reveal it on opening of your shop later this week, just be patient guys. ✘-

-✘ So yeah, that's kinda it for now. Keep an eye open for more updates.. Peace. ✘-

"LOOK ALIVE"

-✘ Kinda short update on what is happening at the moment. Well, at the moment I am in Tokyo since Wednesday, sourcing some parts, visiting old friends, having a track day in Tsukuba and doing cool things as usual. Because I am here I couldn't do some things, so my guys from the shop did some stuff without me. First things first, they installed a full rollcage for ZERO. He came on Monday and they finished his cage yesterday ( on friday ), business as usual, cage installed in three days. Picture was sent by one of my guys, great job, Zero will be safe for sure. ✘-

-✘ Ah.. Most of you were really wondering what kind of car I bought, yeah it is some kind of GT-R, that's it.. Will reveal it on Monday probably, after Tokyo shenanigans. ✘-

-✘ Another cool thing that happened while I was away is that I traded my RX7 for a built 1997 S14, while scrolling on advertisement I saw that "Mr.Stance" offered me such deal, so after hesitating for a while and thinking I decided to go for it, called Shao and arranged someone to tow my RX7 all the way to Sendai, to handle the RX7 to new owner and bring back the S14, and yeah, before you ask I kept my Advan TC3 wheels. Some things about new car - It sits on modified Skunk2 coilovers, no idea why previous owner installed Honda coilovers, but whatever, I will be replacing them soon, also custom front control arms, S15 Spec-R brakes, welded differential, I believe that's it for suspension, will check everything myself when I return to Osaka. D-Max body kit all around, bucket seats inside, Nardi steering wheel and other cool bits to go with such setup. ✘-

-✘ But the best thing is under the hood. The engine is swapped to "mildly" built 450HP 2JZ-GTE Non VVTI with R154 transmission, which is perfect engine in my opinion, perfect base for high horsepower. Also it has pretty good parts installed around and in it, HKS cams, HKS bov, Exedy clutch, Greddy single turbo kit with T78-33D turbo on it which is good up to 700HP, Greddy oil and transmission cooler, Greddy exhaust system with Top Secret muffler on it, and last but not least Mishimoto cooling system. I already have some plans in my mind for this car, it will get repainted very soon, I will also change those Honda coilovers to something else and will tune the engine to have solid 500HP, so we will see what we can come up with for this car, it will be interesting. ✘-

-✘ New place is coming along nicely, only our Time-Attack S13 is missing right now, but don't worry, we are still working on it. We thought that we won't have enough space for all of our cars here, but really it is much better than previous one, a lot better layout and stuff. Few more cars should be coming soon? Ahh, we can easily fit like eight cars here, new place was worth it. ✘-

-✘ Today I spent the whole day at Tsukuba Circuit, had an amazing track day here, will upload some footage from the day, I am sure you will enjoy it. Also because I will be going back to Osaka tomorrow, on the way home I will visit Suzuka circuit if everything goes as planned, and will probably meet with AJ "RocketBunnyS13", might even do some track time here. So yeah, can't wait. ✘-

-✘ So I guess that's it, keep an eye open for next update, a lot of awesome things coming soon. Peace.✘-
