Nice 1UZ there!! I was thinking of swapping 1UZ into my new Cresta :p

Added 36 seconds later:

# marcus915 : shot you a reply! + buying a new car is fun, but don't fall into the impulse trap hahahaha

Thanks everyone for the kind words on my RPS13 :) more to come.

So this is one of the two cars that I bought in the past few days. This is just a daily driver, an absolute steal and something I've kind of wanted to get into for a while now. 1998 Nissan Y33 Cima, 116,500km on chassis.

Its a really comfortable daily driver. But upon closer inspection..

This car is packing a 1UZ-FE. According to the previous owner, the VH41DE was not running when he got the car, prompting him to find the most cost effective, yet unique swap he could get. This was pulled out of a UCF10 Celsior, A340 automatic transmission and everything, and thrown in the car, with some mild custom work at a shop in Chiba. The motor is rather high mileage for a swap at 140xxx km, but 1UZ's are known to be bulletproof so I'm not too worried. The car cost me 350,000yen, which is a steal in my eyes considering how clean the chassis is.

The other car will be unveiled in next post!

Finances

$62,255 - $3500 = $58,755

ugh, new page lol

don't tempt me guys LOL

So here is the other car I bought from another Cooldown member.

Whoop de doo its another S-Chassis hahaha. However I've never owned a coupe before, and never had an N/A SR20. This thing was bought from a guy who was using it for parts, and my friend pieced together all the missing panels and dropped in a fresh motor, intending to use it as a clean street car. He needed the money to fund his S15 project, so I said fuck it, I'll gladly take this car off your hands.

Its got the desirable Aero front bumper and USDM 240SX trunk wing, and yes the front end needs a bit of paint match but this car is turn key, ready to go and reliable.

SR20DE (Red top)
Toda headers
Tomei Poncams
Tomei XPreme muffler
Koyorad radiator
Tomei rocker arm stoppers
Nismo 1.5way LSD
326power Chakuriki GT+S coilovers (Valved for 8k/6k)

And she goes good.

I think this car I'm going to try to keep it simple - keep it four lug, maybe build a high compression N/A SR. But at the same time, fully dumped on BN aero and large chromes is calling my name too..

thanks for the words! I'm super tempted to keep it N/A and simple - time will tell I suppose.

As for the FR-S, I finished a fiberglass project I've been working on for a while now with a friend. Took a set of S14 BN Sports Type-1 skirts and cut them to fit the ZN6 chassis and I will say they look so good. Definitely helps the look I'm going to pull off. Sent the car off to paint at a local painter I trust with all my projects, expect the car back in a couple days/week.

Also took the 180SX out street sharkin. Always love driving this car around even if it means the kit has to suffer.

S14 side skirts? Well... good job fitting them on the 86, i must say! They're pretty similar to those on your 180.
Also your 180 looks great, except the mismatched headlights lol. Be careful on the streets with it!

thanks dudes! i was just messing around with a set of headlight covers, i kind of like how they look anyway and I have HID's so its (okay).
new rolling stock for my PS13. Advan VS6, 16x7 +30, cheap set for 45,000yen with tires! Looks so good. Needs a set of spacers and it'll be sitting nice. Also rattle canned the fender grey and matched the car.

And curse my friends - Ismael and Pedrosa convinced me to try on a set of Vienna Kreiss I had laying around from a very old coupe I owned for about 3 weeks, from over two years ago, on the Y33..

Like what the fuck guys, I don't need to see these things to tempt me to go buy coilovers and arms..which I may have already done..

(pic of the old coupe in question)

Finances

$58,755 + $2200 (two weeks income) = 60,955
$60,955 - $450 (Advans) = $60,505

@Smurf T R U U U U U
@skip my cars look good but they're so rough around the edges :P
@Mikingo <3 <3 <3 <3

I took the daily out for a skid at the docks after hours with a buddy of mine, a couple days ago, and for an open diff automatic boat, it goes pretty good on these shitty tires.

A good friend of mine brought his E36 along for the ride - I've been helping him build this car for a little while now. It's powered by an S54B32 which he picked up from a totaled E46 M3 - god it sounds so good even though its running open header right now. You guys will probably see more of this car in the future as he's moved to a new location nearby the shop and can bring his car around more often.

But TONIGHT, guess who decided to be dumb again and probably needs a new daily again..

Yeah the temptation was way too high to not mess around with this big body car..

Replaced the stock floaty suspension with 326power units, valved for a stiff as f u c k 30k/28k, 200,000yen
Replace all control arms with custom 326power units as well, these were a pretty penny, 80,000yen for all
Set at -10 degrees in the rear, -7 in the front, I have wheels lined up from a good friend of mine, Connor from ASM soon ;)

i cannot do these things to myself hahaha, I have some really big plans coming in the very near future so I'm trying to save money at the moment by dailying this car and the S15. As for now I think I'm done messing with this car, its beautiful as it sits but I may raise the subframe a little so I don't bash it to all hell.
But the Y33 leveled up!!

One of my old friends over at the place I used to work at, ASM, had a set of OZ Breytons he had been sitting on for months now ever since he sold his big body Cedric project. He let them go to me for a steal, considering the spec they're in and how rare they are in Japan. I got paid last week, and that entire check went towards these wheels.

God these are a perfect fit for this car.

Finances
$60,505 + $1100 (paycheck) = $61,605
$61,605 - $2600 (OZ Breytons) = $59,005

Changing pace for a second here. Driving the Y33 has been backbreaking to say the least.

Swooped a G-Corp front bumper and B-Wave wing from my man Casey at shirtstuckedin - spare parts off his old S13 which is now in a scrapyard in Japan (rip). Peeled off the shitty nightshade on my tailights and they're nice and bright now!

Finances

$59,005 - $1000 (B-wave and G-corp) = $58,005

So I'm facing a massive dilemna right now. I went to a drift event at Meihan a little while ago and fell in love with the N-Style Supra, and not to mention I saw Soju's Supra and I absolutely just fell in love..and anyone who knows me knows I've been hunting for one of the ultimate JDM legends, whether it be an FD, JZA80, R34, or an NA1. Today, two cars came up for me :

1998 Nissan Skyline ER34 25GT-T
RB25DET
Deustchwerks exhaust manifold
Greddy intake manifold
Q45 throttle body
HKS intercooler kit
HKS Hi-Power catback
Tein coilovers
BNR34 full metal rear fender conversion
SSR Agle Strusse
Previously used as a street car
Has shaken until March
2,400,000yen ($24,000)

1993 Toyota Supra JZA80
2JZ-GTE
V160 transmission
Originally a 2JZ-GE car equipped with A340E automatic transmission
800cc Bosch injectors
Blitz intercooler kit
HKS SSQV blowoff
HKS Hi-Power muffler
HKS Hipermax II coilovers
BIM Driftmasters (rare wheels!!)
Has shaken until next January
2,300,000yen ($23,000)

i cAN'T DECIDE FUCK
