# saletl : Plan sounds good. How about that 350?

Oh that 350 is a temporary daily car while the Supra is in the shop.
It’ll probably go back to Mr. Lee’s hands when the Supra is finished.

# Sleepin mOnkey : Nice seats

Thank you. I tried to get a new one this time.

BUMP

# Soju :

A short update.

The Recaro Full Black Seat & Brackets was installed, costing it V$ 1600. It took several days to be delivered, but it did worth the wait.

The old Mitsubishi Evo Seats I used was replaced, sold at V$ 800. It was good, but I needed better, and lighter one.

Now it's time to find a new hood and wings.

Weight Reduction?

I did few more modifications this time. The stock roof was replaced with used genuine Top Secret CF Hood, which was a really rare find and I was really lucky.

I paid V$ 2200 for the hood, and it did worth the price. Actually, Korea is quite easy to find some out-of-stock parts than expected.

Also, not many people notice that Seibon hoods don't have such details like the genuine ones.

I wanted to finish the Supra as genuine as possible, just like me getting Endless Brake sets for quite a steep price.

The hood locks came with the CF Hood, and Mr. Lee provided some tools to attach to my Supra.

I also polished the rim and got rid of white paint. The metal finish actually still was in my mind, so I took the paint off and polished it.

The custom caps were also replaced with original Advan ones.

The custom HKS Nardi steering wheels from my 180SX was moved to the Supra, and the original black Nardi went into the 180SX.

Also, the 'Peaches' sticker was removed as well. I am considering another sticker replacement in the future.

I think roll cages are quite too early for the targa top model. Maybe later I guess...

I went to the DMV and replaced the long EU style plates to JP style plates for more suitable look.

I still couldn't find enough space for front bumper plates however. Maybe side-mounts?

Didn't even know you Supra is a targa :P White rims looked better imo. Also i think it would be easier to install the front plate in the middle than on the side.

Frozen!

Thank you guys. The Supra is almost done, and it is ready to be on the road in few days.

For last week, I also sent my 180SX to the paint shop, and received the car yesterday. The result came out really nice.

I decided to go white again, which reminded me of old Sil80 I owned a long time ago.

There are of course nice colors, but I really like this basic gloss white color, which cures my OCD.

But something shitty happened to me as well.

I went out for ride with 11K this morning, and the snow fell really heavy, much more than I expected. The road began to become white.

I tried to push the car, but the temperature outside was freezing as hell. (below -10 Celsius)

Eventually the 180SX was stuck in snow (obviously duh) and I had to call my insurance company to pick the car to the shop. (No fees!)

This is how 180SX looked after it was dropped to the shop.

Well it was my fault driving a RWD car without snow tires when it is snowing...

Luckily there were no damages taken to the car.

I was really fortunate that I took out the side skirt and the rear valance before the painting process.

It's been cleaned as soon as the car arrived, because no rust! Of course, S13 in the snow was a ballsy move indeed.

Actually the snow made the black trims so bad, I had to peel it off eventually.

It was my holiday week, and I had some plenty of time to work on the RPS13. Basically it has been changed quite a bit.

i got the white X-Type set for V$ 800, directly from Japan thanks to Mr. Lee's help.

Also, the 5-lug adapter has been removed, and grabbed these OEM S13 wheels for V$ 200, with slightly used Kumho snow tires.

Grooved 5-lug brake discs were replaced to normal 4-lug discs, which Mr. Lee had in his storage for a long time. For free!

The car was lowered a bit. Tires doesn't touch the wheel arches, so no worries.

I really like the X-Type stock bodykit, but wings aren't my style that much.

Took out the 180 for a short drive. It was still cold outside, and having no seat heating was a pain.

Probably I gotta stick to this look. I really like the OEM style.

Thank you! Probably 80~90% of the exterior work is done now, and I just couldn't cut the fenders, like you said, it is kinda rare these days.

180SX itself is really rare here (for real) and stock one is literally a unicorn car.

Snow has been all over and there recently, and especially the black ice is the one I should be really careful right now.

But the city always cleans the snow as soon as it rains, since there are lots of mountain roads just like Japan.

The rain or any water-related things on the road will freeze because of harsh weather (- 15'C).

...And the cold start always make me anxious every time I turn the keys.

I hope I just don't crash while driving :)

Went to the local mountain road once again, and the car felt really great.

Had to warm up the car, because of cold start.

The snow tires don't seem to be that great on dry road I guess.

Random people call my car a "snowplow" because of the ride height, but who cares.

I should keep this stock. :)

Yeah exactly, Speedbumps or public parking lots may be a hassle, but not the normal road.

Thanks guys for all the comments!

Stuff on the Supra is pretty much done, and it only needs some minor tweaks. It will probably make 500ish HP. Not bad for Twin Turbo setup.

Supra will be some highway racer type beast with extensive modifications (which has been quite done), and the 180SX will stay as a daily weekend car.

I headed to the garage and today I found something rather... interesting.

I guess Mr. Lee recently brought S15 into the garage, but not in a good shape though. I could see that it wasn't in running condition.

It was fairly modified, like Greddy manifold, Koyorad radiator and Garrett single turbo setup.

Also, it had lowered coilover setup which could be fairly hard for a drift car.

The unpainted rear valances, side skirt and differently colored front bumper told that this S15 was pretty much unfinished.

It even has aftermarket rear lights, and missing the entire exhaust system. That's interesting.

It was missing a front window and the passenger seat as well.

However S15 is quite expensive here, and the car with this state could easily worth a lot despite of its condition.

Mr. Lee said I can look at the progress of his S15 build anytime. I guess I found something worth watching!
