Introduction

Hello, I introduce myself, My name is Juan, I am 19 years old, I was born in Uruguay, but a little over 15 years ago I moved with my family to Phoenix, AZ.
A few days ago I graduated from an industrial high school in Arizona as an Electromechanical Technician, and with my hard work in a mechanical workshop where I worked since 2016, and with the savings that I was putting together, I raised 20000V$ and bought my first cars ...

A 2002 Acura RSX Type-S, In very good condition, 100000 miles, Quite well maintained, Official maintenance of Acura, etc., A very good first car for daily use, I will make a few minor modifications (Do not expect a Turbo or a Kraftwerks Compressor for this car, because this car I want to use it for every day, as much coilovers, wheels and some body parts, but little more).

And since acura was not going to modify it much, and I wanted a nice project, I bought this...

A 2003 Ford Mustang SN95 GT
I bought it pretty cheap, but for several reasons:
- The car does not work
- The suspension is worn
- The car has not circulated since 2008
- It has not been inspected since 2008
Etc, etc, etc
And since then the car would repair it, and modify it, I do not care, and for that price I said, why not?

# saletl : Quite nice rides dude
Thank you men, I was thinking about putting some lip mugen or some jdm style (I know they are Chinese but good), coilovers, etc, but simple, With respect to the mustang, I have to repair it, change the entire suspension, and place modifications, maybe a dragstang, or a driftstang
But I will see it as time goes by, If you have a recommendation, leave it here or by private, Regards

Update on the RSX and the Mustang

I bought some Coilovers for the RSX, and some new wheels, in addition to the typical autozone vinyl to vinyl the emblems hahahahaha
Now it was perfect for now

And with respect to the mustang...

I made it run, although the suspension was worn, the engine sounded very bad, I went for a spin and about 6 kilometers from the stop, the engine blew up, the engine was blocked, we could not turn it, the block was cracked, so I'll have to buy another, what engine do you think would go well with the car? , I'll leave some options here:

- 2JZ-GTE
- LS
- 5.0 Coyote
- Nissan RB26
Another example...

I made it start, although it worked horrible, pure shrieks, but I tried so much I could walk, I changed the oil, spark plugs and all that, but it was wrong, I tried to make it walk, I walked with a friend through the town and the engine died
Although the same, now I'm going to say that I did with the car at the end
Directly to see that it would be TOO expensive to change the engine for one that is suitable for this car (neither very small, nor very large, 6 cylinders as a minimum), besides that the suspension was fatal, and on top of that I discovered that the car had a serious damage in the chassis, which I did not see because it was covered by the oilpan cover, directly, take it to the scrapyard, earn about 750 for the car , so the mustang, is dead
Now I was looking at some new project, and I was looking for some RX7 FC3S, I found one and I'll go see it now, so, maybe it's the new project

V$ 10000
+V$ 750=V$ 10750

New project !

As you know, The mustang project is dead, because of the giant damage it had, so looking on the internet I found this car..

A 1990 Mazda RX7 FC3S RHD Imported from Japan in 2015
It has a rotary engine 13b N / A (Do not ask me why they imported a rx7 n/a when they could import the 13b turbo version, but hey, the previous owner will be a bit special ...)
The car already came with modifications, for example:
ITB's
18-inch wheels
Coilovers jdmspeed
Nardi Steering wheel
I bought it at a good price, for what it offered, The guy asked for 7500 for the car, I lowered it to 6500
So I got a good car for a new project, at a good price
The engine has 76500 miles and behaves very well. If it fails, improvements will be made to this engine, or a Swap will be made directly.

New business !
Since I'm pretty short on money, I thought about what I would do to get money, fast, and it occurred to me to buy salvage cars, repair them at low cost (obviously I will not buy a salvage that has a lot of damage, but, it would be a loss of money instead of a profit, I will buy salvage cars that are with minor damages, that can be fixed, for example, slight water damage, or slight frontal / rear damage, etc)
And sell them, because I need the money at this time.

And after looking at other auctions, I found two cars:
Two Acura RSX, One is a 2004 type S, and the other is not yet, because the auction not specify the model, but it was the 2002 manual 2.0 version (i think).

They do not have much damage, Purely aesthetic, so it will be easy to repair them:

For the type s I paid $ 1500
And for the other pay: $ 1000 (It was also cheap because the car was very careless and was a guy jdm a little ricer, so discouraged the buyers, and because it is seen that it was the simple model of rsx, and I came out quite well, because the title is clean, the type s was salvage with the ability to rebuilt

So, wait until the cars come and work tomorrow !

My RSX is gone

I sold my rsx type s (black) for V$ 6000, (without coilovers or aftermarket wheels, totally stock).
And with that money I can take care of the Rsx, although maybe for the 2002 2.0 manual (nor type-s) I have a buyer (i think),(although I offered to make a change for his crashed car, surely for that clue you know who you ask)
But it is not known, but what is known is that the black rsx has already left
And in its place came 6000V$ that will help

Guys, News about me

I was thinking about this for a while, I like the United States, but I was thinking about "getting out of the nest", moving to another place, I've seen videos of Japan, I love their culture, I love their cars, and I've thought about moving Once, and now that I am of age and I found a good job offer there, I told my parents that I would go to Japan, They at first hesitated, but they understood that it was my dream and it was the best, So, yes, I I'm moving to Japan
I will sell the cars that I have now in case someone wants them
I was thinking about importing the rx7, but I decided that it would not be very sensible for the price of bringing the rx7 to Japan

If anyone is interested, talk to me
I have 2 RSX (A type-s with salvage title, apt to rebuild, with little damage, and a manual 2.0 in decent state, with details of painting and clean title)
And a 1990 Mazda Savanna RX7 FC3S N / A RHD (Imported in 2015)

I am in Phoenix, AZ, I take care of the shipment if you want, but I need to get rid of them, fast!

Boys !
I just got to my new workshop, Now I have to find a car to do a project, I was thinking about a 180sx drift missile or something like that, Motor rb25det or rb26 (or maybe keep the sr20 until the engine bursts, or until that I decide to make a swap)

New workshop, and new project!

I arrived in Tsukuba, after a night of looking for a car to do a project, I found this Nissan 180SX, without engine, or transmission, it was a driftcar and the car raced in D1SL , Super-D , and later the owner just crashed it and raced like a missile, the previous owner had it with an SR20DET , And he destroyed the engine , quitting D1SL , Later he put an rb25 single turbo for racing in Super-D, and other things, But he disarm it to sell it, the only thing that left me from the car when it was armed, was the nardi steering wheel, the car also had a bash bar back and forth, that he also took them out, and the engine bay was modified by the previous owner to place the bash bar, The interior has carpets, panels, not the seats, or the shift lever, or the handbrake, It is a shell this car, So it will be a pretty good project, the car already has multicolored paint and several damages in a panel, but I'll leave it like that, you know, to have more
[ D R I F T M I S S I L E P O I N T S ], In addition to the previous owner of so many blows that he was given, he had to change the panels, except that, which was fine, only had damage by dents, but inside everything, I'll leave it like this, (obviously I'll put the motor, seats, hydraulic hand brake, gear lever, etc etc)
It will be a good project!

I forgot to tell that hahahaha, now I put it, The rental price is 1000V $ Monthly
And the parties, no thanks, I have a scrapyard nearby and there are lots of s chassis there, there are several parts (It is more, in this time that do not publish anything else, buy some parts and install them (besides making some bashbar) , what I'm looking for is an engine, a rb26dett converted to a rear wheel or a rb25det
The rest I find here, why scrapped parts? Simple [D R I F T M I S S I L E P O I N T S]

Update of the 180SX

I bought a pair of fenders in a scrapyard, they were very cheap, I also made two bashbar, one for the front, one for the back
Also paint them with spray (yes, it was very botched, but hey, it does not matter)
In addition to buying the hydraulic hand brake and two bucket seats
The 180sx is taking shape

I was looking on the internet (rp) and i found an RB26 with some modifications, Modification of cylinder head, stage 2 camshafts and stage 2 pistons, Although it comes without transmission, without intake, without exhaust and without turbo, Although it is a good offer, for 5500 V$, Ire to see it, also, before I'll also go see some car for daily use, maybe an aristo or a Toyota Cresta.
I will notify you just get them

180sx update

It's a little thing what I did to the car now, I changed the wheels and I put the kouki tail lights with "carbon fiber" vinyl , nothing great
Someone sent me a message about an RB26 of a Skyline R33, I asked the owner if the engine has modifications, I also asked if it was converted from all wheel drive to Rear wheel drive, I just have to wait for me to answer.

And an interesting thing, since I bought a car every day, a 1999 Toyota Aristo, in an auction for 1500 V $, is in good condition, although with the typical damage of a car of the 90s, But hey, it will be a good car for daily use

Update 180sx Proyect : NEW ENGINE!

After a lot of research, in the end I could not close the rb26 deal well, a rb25 did not interest me much, so I decided to look for some sr20, and found some that were modified and were half the price that a rb26 converted to Rear-wheel drive, So, while I was searching I found this ...

A sr20det blacktop with some modifications like ...
Tomei exhaust manifold
Yellow injector (?
T28 Turbo
In addition to bringing the gearbox, ecu, wiring, air conditioning system (that will not use it), and other things
Although it does not have an intercooler or radiator, that will be placed later

When I saw it I was interested, I talked to the owner, we met, and I bought it, the engine was in good condition, I got to work installing the engine, and here is what you see in the photos, I have to get a radiator and an intercooler with its pipes.
It was quite easy to install it because the 180sx since it was manufactured was designed to be installed a sr20det / de, Although mine was adapted for a rb25, but the only thing that the owner did was to make a hole in the floor so that the gearbox is well placed, and that hole is covered by the dashboard, then he made some adapters to place the engine, luckily, after removing the engine, the previous owner removed the adapters, leaving the frames intact, helped me a lot with that.

I have to get intercooler and radiator for now, then I'll take it to the dyno and then to tsukuba or ebisu

Added 44 minutes later:

Update 180sx: Intercooler, Radiator and some parts of the body

Taking advantage that the engine lacked very few things, I went and bought what was missing (which was the intercooler and the radiator), Then I went to a scrapyard and bought two pop up and a front bumper chuki, Although without grids or fogs, but does not matter
I installed them (Pop up left them fixed and crooked on purpose, do not judge me hahaha)
And there would be a few small things that I will look for, which would be some measurement clocks (boost controler, among other things)
It's almost over, Now when I finish it I'll go to Tsukuba to taste it

Added 16 minutes later:

180sx update: Gauges, boost controller and customized gear lever installed!

Nothing very interesting or out of the ordinary, the ls watches needed to keep the engine under control, and the lever needed it because otherwise I can not pass the changes, obviously

We went from Drift Missile to Stance

After having worked so hard in the car, seeing it like that does not convince me, so, I decided, Repair the damaged panel, put the hood on it, and make it look better, then take it to paint
Now I'm working on it to pass the technical inspection and register it

News about the 180sx: Goodbye SR20, Hello RB26DET

A few days ago (when I finished the body work on the 180sx, leaving it ready to paint) I called a guy saying he sells a RB26DETT of a Skyline R33, with a conversion of All-wheel drive to rear traction and some mdificaciones, the I asked for 6500, I did not have the money, so I offered a barter, My SR20DET (I bought it for 3000, and inverted 630 in intercooler and radiator, and my aristo, which is in good condition that is worth V$3000 (that others in same condition and of the same year asked for 3000 V $ or more)(Sources : Tradecarview)
He accepted, so, luckily, he took out the engine when he was preparing the bodywork to paint, so, it is necessary to see if he comes to look for both things, or I have to send it to him, but at least we know that he will come a new heart for the 180sx

The 180SX arrived from the painting workshop

As you know, a few days ago, after repairing the body and removing the engine, I took the car to paint, after two days, the car arrived
, It was not very expensive or very slow because I made sure to remove interior parts and the engine to Only sand apply the Primer and paint the car , and I just finished assembling the interior and the pieces that I removed from the outside (The car arrived 3 hours ago)
I could not be more satisfied
Just look at it, It's beautiful, Now I have to wait for the engine to arrive, I've already brought the aristo and the sr20 to an import and export contact with which the workshop where I worked in Arizona for deals, now they will be shipping to california, Sleepy Monkey (the guy that sold me the engine) already confirmed that the rb26 was being sent

I wouldn't ship that Aristo. It's illegal in America for another 7 years.

New daily driver!

After closing the deal with sleepin monkey, and taking the car and the engine to the customs, I ran out of everyday car, so looking for a magazine classified, a 1995 Honda Civic EJ2, Good condition of body and engine , but it did not work, due to electrical problems and other things, I bought it for V $ 750, it has the original engine (d16 sohc), the body is impeccable, although it has that problem, although the good thing is that it is a civic, there are a thousand parts for this car, and more being in Japan, it will be very easy to repair it and bring it to life, although surely when repaired, put it on sale in a few days, or sell it just after repair, to buy another car, repair it and sell it, and all the same process, as you know, I'm very short on money, so I need the money, quick, maybe I'll leave this workshop and move to a smaller one (this one is too expensive, 1000V $ per month ) and I go to work at an agency. That's how I get the money fast , Also to not get bored waiting for the rb26 for the 180sx.
(The car is registered, but i took off the plates for the photo)
