Hmm, have you check fuel cut out during boost? If you boosting too much pressure. and ecu will tell fuel system to cut out (on 180SX).

# MrTomush : Hmm, have you check fuel cut out during boost? If you boosting too much pressure. and ecu will tell fuel system to cut out (on 180SX).I'm running a 1JZ on a Apexi Power FC, so it most likely wouldn't be a result of a problem from the 180SX itself. I think it might not even be a fuel cut issue, might just be that I need to upgrade from a standard fuel pump since I'm pushing well over stock boost. |

Yeah that should be the problem also because the Jz is a lttile bigger than the Stock 180 engines and a tuned one needs even more fuel.

Yep. Should be picking up a bigger fuel pump soon.
Well, my so called friends accused me of doing something I didn't do, and abandoned me - oh well, life goes on. Hit up the local UP Garage and asked around for coilovers they had in stock, and they said that they had a set of rare Kei Office coilovers for the S13, and having done some research, S13 suspension bolts right up to the C33. So I jumped on this offer and bought them for 15,000yen. Fitted them in the driveway since the car still isn't road legal (yet), and I must say it looks sweet. Also bought some purple tint for 3500yen. I have about 10 threads left to go in the front, and around 8 threads left to drop in the rear. Should be able to get fully dumped soon! Next plan is to get the insurance transfered from the 180SX to this car so I can get it on the road and go streeto with some of my real friends. |

# GoverningNick : Those pictures are tempting me to take another trip to Japan, friendo. Come back to Japan! Will take good care of you this time. Been a good while since I've been here, for good reason. I boosted the FR-S, with the choice of induction being the Greddy T518Z kit, which ran me a cool 44,000yen, a good price for a solid gain in power. Up Garage took care of the tuning, and the car ran a gain of nearly 100hp at the wheels, which is more than enough for what I do with this car. After then, it's spent the past few days in the paint booth. Also got plates for the C33, but blew up the RB20 (connecting rod bearings were pretty shot, and a hard thrash session at Meihan finished off my motor by throwing a rod through the block). Going to find myself an SR20 to throw into this car. 43,550 - 4400 = 39,150 |

I finally got the Scion back, and it's been repainted in an OEM BNR32 colour, 732 Black Pearl Metallic. Also took the Garsons off, and put on my set of CR Kai's, though I have some other wheels in mind.
I've also been refreshing the 1JZ in the 180SX, and I'm still shopping around for a set of wheels for the C33. |

Also - finally some pics of C33!
Wheels! They are SSR Reverse Mesh, in a square 15x9j -2 offset all around. Rather aggressive but fills the wells very nice. Unfortunately it is chilling in the shop as the RB20 threw a rod, so I am swapping in a redtop SR20DET from a write off 91 RPS13 - basic bolt ons, T28 turbo, the usual fare. Should be nice and peaky for the C33. |

So I've been gone for quite a long time..it was time to do adult things and stop fucking around so much with car stuff..
Cause I decided to upgrade from the dinky garage I used to a much nicer space. Saved up a good amount of money and bought this place in full! There have been some changes to my cars as well. My cars have taken a bit of a side priority, main one being the new facility, but I did work on my cars. The FR-S received a Chargespeed Type I front bumper and Varis hood, and it's been my fun/daily car. Really reliable and fun to thrash on, now with the HKS turbo kit. I forget if I had the Panasports on before on the last update or not but w/e. My beloved RPS13 definitely took a back seat in the past half year - just been slowly sourcing hard to find aero. After a trackday at Meihan I crashed into a friend during tandem and destroyed my full Works9 RPS front. Straightened up the radiator support and decided to go for different aero, as well as Origin Lab overfenders. Also decided to go back to the old SR20VET setup as I enjoyed the frantic feeling of the SR over the 1J. Now this is my daily, a GX110 Verossa, and has been for a couple of months now. I traded the S2000 for this car to a good friend of mine, who's currently building up my S2000, and it is wild. Will show pics in the next post. The Verossa runs an R154 five speed manual (swapped from a Chaser), a mostly factory 1JZ-GTE with a few bolt ons, and rides on my go to 326power Chakuriki GT+S coils, on a set of 18x9 Grenade GX-01's. Haven't quite had time to work out my finances yet but that will be done soon. |

eyy thanks boys.
still working on my financial statement from the last half year, but for now have some more updates. Brought the Verossa into the shop and played around with the coilovers - got it sitting nice and pretty and did an eyeball alignment. Drives straight enough so whatever. My friend who purchased my S2000 came by the shop today, and I snapped a couple photos of the car. Don't have the specifics of what he's done, but as a reminder this is what it used to look like when I sold it. Pretty wild transformation so far. Haven't shown you guys the engine bay in the 180SX in a while now - as mentioned before put the SR20VET back in and put the 1J on a stand. Fired right up, so decided to pull the motor YET AGAIN and sprayed the bay a nice two tone, and the valve cover a gloss teal. You may notice the other 180SX sitting in the corner there.. This is a 1996 180SX, a real Type X, that's had a bit of a life but brought back to great shape by a good friend of mine. He's in the market for a C33 and mine has been sitting for months since the SR blew a rocker arm, and it's super tempting to have a second car to thrash on daily while I work on my own piece of shit 180. It's sitting on Tein Super Drift coils, full five lug swap, R34 Brembos and wheels, basically all the foundation upgrades I would have done anyway. Super super super super tempted to straight trade my C33 for this beauty. |

# skip : Damn, everyone joining the S15 gang. Guess I'm gonna have to wait to see you do your magic on another car. you right, i figured i'd get back into a 15 cause i've never seemed to be able to keep one for more than a couple months. truly believe this one is the one though! (underglow the world ) # saletl : that c33 was nice. lookin forward to see the s15 get's attentionthanks dude! the c33 was nice but had to trade up eventually lol some updates - the Verossa is still around - the sensible daily aspect has slightly been ignored.. Full Vertex kit, a must do for all Verossas in my opinion. Picked it up for 16,000 yen which is about right for a brand new kit. Fully adjustable LCA's/RUCA's (Serial9/Cusco units) for more camber and shortened steering knuckles for quicker steering response. Definitely looking into some angle mods (no Wisefab, fuck that!). Total cost 5,000 yen. Up Garage gem find, full set of SSR Agle Strusse, 18x9.5j and 18x10j, required some fender work but they fit good under the stock metal guards. 22,000 yen. Finally, S15 machine check. It's a 99 Spec R, very well kept, 86,000k's on the clock. Traded the C33 and 40,000 yen on top for this, so far not missing a thing. Rides on Tein Super Drift coilovers with Parts Shop Max arms. Nice upgrade over stock and feels so good to throw around. Standard SR20 fare, modified S14 Greddy intercooler kit, Greddy valve springs, Tomei downpipe and Xpreme catback, planning to go midmount TD06 or top mount GTX3871R in the future. Koyorad radiator/hoses, ran the car at Setonaikai all day, drove it home and never failed once on me. Not sure what I want to do build wise yet, but stay tuned for RPS13 updates ! Finances - $68,755 + $38,000 (eight months income from last update 4/12/17) - $30,000 (shop cost not incl. rent) = $76,755 - $4000 (S15 trade price) = $72,755 - $4300 (Verossa stuff) = $68,355 This post was edited by marcus915 (2017-12-09 11:25, ago) |

thanks guys!!
had some fun on the touge today And where to begin on the RPS13? Its been through so many changes in the past couple months. Firstly, the car is mostly all one colour now. Sprayed the car one colour cause I was sick of multicolour so used up the rest of the leftover red, which I'm going to be changing soon anyway. Repaired some old aero (D-Max Type III rear, Works9 side), and put on my D-Max hood. Currently rolling on a set of ABC Exclusive Glanzen (18x11 +0) cause I can't get enough of these wheels, and a set of CST Hiper Zeros my good buddy @ramalhinho07 let me use. Previously, I was running a Greddy FMIC kit on my SR20 VVL. In the quest for throttle response, the boys at Cooldown helped me fabricate a much shorter flip mount kit and created new brackets to fix the intercooler to the radiator support. This cost us a total of around 20,000yen for all the material. The throttle response is ridiculous now though! Lastly, a photo of the car at Meihan C course. Car feels so damn good..
