# holeecrab : full racing body kit when >:(

Probably when I will have enough time and determination to design one myself. *sighs*

# Zero : I feel like Mackay will become the Rin Hojo of the Wangan

Haha ! Considering the fact that I am bald and happily "married", such thing as another Rin Hojo won't happen. I am going to become Mac of Wangan lol.

WANGAN RUN

-✘ The promised update about last nights shenenigans.. Because I am writing this it means that everything went according to the plan and thankfully nothing bad happened last night, thanks to precautions we took, better safe than sorry. As you can see from the title, yes I did "wangan run" and tested maximum speed of my GTR on the Kansai Kuko Expressway, the results were far beyond my expectations, fastest I have ever been in my life. You are probably thinking whose is that white car? It is Shao's Subaru GM8 with widebody conversion, making around 400whp.. Shao was going behind me, Oscar was taking the lead and spotting for any dangers ahead, I won't get into details about this, but you get the idea. Final quick stop at the road side to sync our radios and to make sure everything works fine. ✘-

ʸᵉˢ, ᵗʰᶦˢ ᵖʰᵒᵗᵒ ᶫᵒᵒᵏˢ ᶫᶦᵏᵉ ˢʰᶦᵗ

-✘ Not much explaining needed what happened after we rolled onto road. As we were going 70km'h I downshifted from third to first and took off leaving everything behind. ✘-

-✘ Footage from GoPro that was mounted on my helmet. Right there I was going 310km'h overtaking vans on the right lane while almost redlining in sixth gear.. Yes the speedometer turned around lol and was showing nonsense, so we were relying on GPS. The car was literally screaming, but I continued to push it even further, and managed to achieve top speed of 315km'h, it was highest speed that GPS recorded. ✘-

-✘ The picture Oscar's passenger took after everything was over. ✘-

-✘ After we were finished with our wangan run, we drove straight to Shao's garage to inspect the GTR and to check if everything is okay. Thankfully nothing was blown, no leaks, everything was still in place. Only some oil was burned, but such thing is normal after going high speeds, so I topped up oil immediately. ✘-

-✘ Also take a better look at Shao's Subaru. I can't lie, I love his wheels. I was seeing this car for the first time myself as I haven't seen Shao in almost a month because of our busy schedules.. ✘-

-✘ Last picture of the car I took this morning. GTR in the parking lot of our apartment complex. This thing terrorizes every place it droves into, loud and mean.. Thankfully it is gray, so not everyone notices it, only hears it lol. ✘-

-✘ So yeah guys, that was kinda it, probably I am going to sleep now, because I haven't slept in more than 32 hours now.. Also if you haven't noticed, today I posted my 350Z NISMO for sale in USED CARS CLASSIFIEDS, so if anyone interested contact me, whoever buys it I will tune it for them accordingly to their needs, so win win offer for you guys. Besides those things, you all probably know that Soju and 11kRPM are coming to Japan, so a lot of cool things are going to happen in those upcoming days, also Soju will probably stay at my place, actually we will see when they arrive, so keep an eye open for updates, peace. ✘-

Thank you, it means a lot to me !
You should, even if you are going for a calm spin around the loop, if I am right the C1 route is not that far away from Adachi, so check it out whenever you have time! Just don't do stupid things alone as that might bring you problems.

Your R32 is such a beast, Phonexius used to have one with similar power but it was a GTS. Impreza and 350Z look sick too, i see you're having a lot of fun on the highway but be careful out there. :) Also, as Skip probably already told you, he's going to Japan and i'll stay with him for a while so see you around! ;)

BTW change your speedometer, it must be funny seeing it go round and round when you're going 300+km/h lol.

Thank you man! We appreciate your good words about our cars :) Yes.. I know that such speeds on public expressway is all fun and games until something bad happens, but don't worry as we try to do it as "safe" as possible, let's not talk about such things much, shh. :/ Yeah, I know that, we will be seeing each other for sure haha !

I probably will, I just didn't had time to look for one, also such thing is not on my priority list as I will be going with digital dash in the future, but I might get either NISMO 320KM/H or VeilSide 340KM/H speedometer as temporary thing.

GUESTS

-✘ Short update on what is happening these days.. So first things first. As you all know Soju and 11kRPM came to Japan and the best part is that they brought their cars with them too. They arrived at my garage at evening on Tuesday. Also as you you probably already know Soju is staying at my place and 11K at his friends Nishiyama home which is very near my garage, also I let them keep their cars at my garage. All I can say is that I am amazed by their cars, JZX is looking fresh as it was recently repainted, Supra is hands down one of the cleanest I have seen up close, both thumbs up for these guys and their machines. ✘-

-✘ Yes, you guessed it right, I am building a roll-cage for 11k's JZX.. Long story short, his car used to compete in D1SL like ten or more years ago, and the main reason of building new cage is that current cage was built long time ago and kinda lost it's rigidity over the years, also the new one will be built to today standards with new FIA homologation. Because the design of the cage is very simple and not complex we built it in 22+ hours and even managed to paint it today. New cage will definitely keep 11k safe at all times because as always we put our best in each cage we build, as we don't cheap out on materials and do everything with big responsibility, we never risk our customers life. Also you may ask how much this cage will cost him ? Well, I choose to only take money for materials and taxes, which in the end will be 1050V$, let say that this cage will be a "Welcome to Japan" gift for him. Here is some progress pics. ✘-

-✘ Also it is worth mentioning that on Wednesday while working on 11k's JZX, Zero came to visit me. What an awesome opportunity to take a break, right haha ? We talked for a bit, drank some tea and etc, basic friends shit you know lol, but those things aside the main reason for a visit was to show his GT-R to me, and damn, after inspecting it in and out I can surely tell that he made the right choice to get one. He told me that he has plans of building it to the same spec as mine, so I guess another beast is in progress. ✘-

-✘ After we finished with the cage today, I took the JZX to Shao's garage because he have painting chamber with heating there. After carefully covering everything else to not mess up his new paint I painted his new roll-cage in purple color, after the paint quickly dried up I towed JZX back to my garage for assembly. His car will be ready tomorrow, I believe he will update you guys about this thing too. ✘-

-✘ So yeah, I guess that's kinda it, I am finishing the JZX now and basically preparing for the weekend, as I don't really know what I will be doing, I might either stay with my wife and relax or go with the boys to Nikko circuit.. I might update you all tomorrow or on Saturday, I don't really know, we will see. Peace. ✘-

We lowkey wanted to "suprise" people that we are in japan, now as we think about this we realised that that was stupid. Anyway, all we wanted to do is check if there are any oil leaks and maybe do some maintenance like fluids and filters.

GOING EURO IN JAPAN

-✘ As I am sitting in a gas station right now taking a break from the trip to Nikko I might as well update you guys on what happened in last two days. Well.. First things first. I know that I was saying that I will be modifying my 350Z for drifting, but I did something else because I decided to not ruin the value of my NISMO. So on Friday morning I bought myself kinda decent shitbox and no, I didn't bought S'chassis or something else like everyone does, I guess you already figured it out by the title lol. Yes, I bought an 1999 E46 328i.. 3'series BMW's like E46's and E36's are basically an alternative to S'chassis back in my home country, everyone drifts them, so I will do completely opposite right here in Japan, will show everyone what those cars are capable of. #catchmeatnikko. As this car is basically stock, no LSD, no coilovers, it will require some modifications to go sideways, but don't worry this car will be a "proper drift" car in no time, just let me do my magic. ✘-

-✘ On the way home after I bought it, I didn't wasted any time and went to Shao's garage and UpGarage to get some things. Basically spent entire Friday working on this car. So as usual, first things that goes into my new cars.. I bought new seat and steering wheel, also I got Shao's custom made hydraulic handbrake for it. I got myself a pretty used Bride ZETA II seat and Nardi steering wheel. Prior to installation of new things as always I stripped the interior out, removed passenger seat, rear seats, roof lining, spare wheel, carpets from trunk and etc. Picture of new seat and finished interior. -✘

-✘ I didn't stop after those modifications, now it was time for my magic lol. After I changed the engine oil, coolant and brake fluid the next step was to increase the steering lock, lower the car and get both rear wheels locked up, nothing an angle grinder and weld machine can't do. Steering knuckles were modified, differential was welded and the car was lowered the good old fashioned way, by cutting few coils off from the spring. The things you do while on tight budget haha. After those things were done I fabricated a straight pipe from the headers and connected the handbrake to the rear brakes. Now we talking, BMW was finally prepared to go sideways, but as it was already very late I only tested it next day. Some progress pics. ✘-

-✘ Whose mans is this ? Drifting in the street.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Considering that M52TUB28 only has 190HP or whatever thats left from them I am very happy how this car performed. ✘-

-✘ As you probably noticed it is on new wheels too. I borrowed eight R17 Enkei RPF-1's from Shao's friend, all wrapped in shittiest tires possible, four on the car and other four as a spares for this drift day at Nikko, will be returning them when I get back. Basically I spent entire Sunday preparing for this thing, 11K and the guys talked me into going with them. It will be good because there is drift even going down there, "Drift Muscle" if being more specific, and because this is the last event of this championship this year, we will definitely see a lot of cool things. Also we expect to see many of our forum guys there, so feel to come by and say hi. E46 sitting pretty. ✘-

-✘ Last picture I did before going out, loading the wheels into the car. The trip will be around 7 hours or more depending on the traffic. So yeah, 700 kilometers of lonely driving, because 11K is like four or five hours ahead of me lol.. This car better not break down on me while driving.. I hope it won't happen as I didn't found any major problems while inspecting it. ✘-

-✘ So yeah, I will see you all there in few hours or so. Peace. ✘-
