O-o-o-oh, neato! Can we expect something fancy like NISMO ER33 or is it too rare to bother?

# Soju : Can't wait to see 40th Anniv. 4 Door Autech!
I'm definitely doing that, yes. Because GT-R sedan. Probably only going to do that once I've got the regular sedan done, though.

# Hard Target : NISMO ER33
Not familiar. If you're talking about the aforementioned four-door GT-R, that car also gets the chassis code BCNR33 like the coupe GT-Rs.

EDIT: wooooo, post 1111

This is what i'm talking about

Supposedly, it's an Autech GT-R with touches from NISMO that includes suspension tune (don't quote me on that, i'm barely familiar with this thing), RB-X GT2 engine and 400R-ish bodykit (seeing that front bumper fitted with a slightly different lip and etc). So far i've seen only one around the web, but that thing looks quite stunning.

So basically a 400R bodykit with wing on a 4 doors? just leaving the engine out of this as thats not what harry is doing at this time. All of that 400R goodness is already ingame and wouldnt be to hard to "adjust" and make it fit.

Added 3 minutes later:

Taking a closer look @ the ER33

And the R33 400R

Looking at both, I can say that there would be no modification needed to make it fit, maybe the skirts on the ER33 are a bit longer but i dont think so.
Xtreme Budget Build Setup
- ASUS P8H61-I
- Intel Core i5 3570
- Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3
- MSI GTX 1070 AERO ITX 8GB
- Silverstone SG13 mini-ITX w/ Corsair CS450M PSU
- Samsung 750 EVO 250GB SSD
- Samsung 1TB

To be entirely clear, it's not a full "400R" body kit. The body kit is: the 400R front bumper, without the front air ducts (this already exists in-game); a refitted version of the GT-R rear wing; and the standard Autech GT-R rest of the body (side skirts and fenders, with a regular sedan rear bumper).

Also, I repeat, the "ER33" is just the GTS version. The GT-R sedan gets a BCNR33 chassis code just like the coupe.

Ooh, nice - that's a good, solid picture of the 400R coupe rear diffuser, though. Thanks for that!

So majority of pieces needed to replicate the Nismo ER33 is already made. Huh. I've been under a rock for quite some time, it seems. Oh, and if you still need 400R photos - i've happen to stumble on the service details for that exact (it seems) 400R, with pictures that also showcase the diffuser. I can provide the link here or in the PMs if you'd like to.

Update:
Yeah, KeeJay, Autech made a GT-R 4door for the 40th anniversary of GT-R. I think there were about 447 such cars built.

Please! I'd love to see that, as I haven't been very happy with my existing model for that diffuser.

416 exactly, apparently. GT-R Registry has interesting stats like that.

Yup. Including a trip counter that can be reset to 0000 by clicking on the pin with the screwdriver.

(It will probably also be possible to turn the feature off, to save the frame-rate for everybody who is running on a slow CPU computer.)

Good work, Harrison. I can't wait to see it in-game.

that odometer works on the void animate() with a string separated by digit, then you applied a if(string_m == "1") and then the render for meters?

But will it count in-game mileage (which is false) or the approx. real mileage based on the in-game characteristic?

"Fake" in-game mileage. It made more sense to me that it matches the info screen (for consistency) than that it actually measures accurately.

Besides, mileage increases slowly enough already (and no one seems to drive very far anyway) that I thought it was better just to do it that way.

The only game I've seen to track mileage on the odometer consistently was NFS Shift and Shift 2 that is amazing given this games limited assets and age.
This really demands an HD successor for more flexibilty.

I am so glad Turn 10 did a full engine bay and trunk bay for the regular R33 in FM7.

Probably not really. Maybe the hood. Most of it is either stock or doable with parts I've already put in.
