I'm starting this on a short note.

This is an RP. I'm starting with 150£V. My salary is 200£V to be collected by week.

Also I bought an Altezza off Zero for 100£V, sight unseen (for current condition, as he did a nice engine swap with its engine).

Pictures soon.

Finaces;

Week 1; 150£V
Altezza Chassis; 100£V
Total; 50£V

Pictures incoming...

Added 11 minutes later:

I got an image from the docks from where it was delivered; this was on the security camera.

The temporary rims (some IS200 rims, coincidentally) were damaged and going to be thrown out, and were given to me, to get it onto a trailer. Maybe they can be fixed.

It currently sits at a friend's garage. On a jack stand, and a wooden block; rims removed to see what could be fixed.

Also to those wondering (the RP is based in the UK), the conversion rate means I paid 75.31£V for it, and Zero got 100V$. Cheap, but missing everything, except panels, though those were damaged from shipping.

Added 1 minute later:

Though the car cost 100£V when including getting it shipped and such.

Added 4 minutes later:

ALSO: Those rims are probably the only free thing that I'll acquire (to those who say that's how a starting budget of 50£V is going to work).

Dude! I'm breaking one of those... most of the C-West parts have already gone but the front end is still here. If you want any of it, you're welcome as I need the space, but obviously the hood and bumper would cost a fair bit to send (as you know I'm in the far east)... headlights are intact, could send them over with a buddy who visits UK regularly.
Let me know..

Thanks, KondzixisPL. Also looking at the chassis, Stevo, It doesn't seem that rusty. By any chance can I have the actual chassis. That way major modifications could be tested.

Thanks, Soju. And Stevo, how much would it cost to ship a bare chassis, I'd imagine not much, as no shipping insurance is required. I'll pay for it if I can with somewhere between 200 to 400£V.

Sorry to say, you couldn't be more wrong. (I'm gonna help you keep your RP realistic here, as I have personal IRL experience of shipping large items, albeit the other way round, i.e UK to Far East).
Firstly, you have the logistics of getting the body shell to the shipping agent at the docks... in my case that is 550 Km away. Then the shell will need to be de-registered in this country prior to a bill of laden being compiled by the shipping agent (shipping agent is mandatory), then it will need to go into a 20' container which will cost by cu.m. (nothing to do with weight). It will also need to be fumigated and wrapped before going into container (if it goes as a body shell it will need palleting but as weight is not the issue it will be more cost effective to put basic running gear on it, so it can be moved and not need palleting). The cost of cu.m. in the container (I'm going back nearly 15 years here so may be different now) is roughly 100 GBP per cu.m. or part there of.
When I had my car brought over it cost just over 1000 GBP for the basic shipping cost, Plus the paperwork, shipping agent fees, docking fees this end, import duties, storage fees, and finally registration. The time period was around 4 weeks on the water, a week to get the import docs sorted (can be quicker depending on your agent) then almost 6 weeks to get the car emission tested and registered (the emission testing had to be paid for in advance then wait in a queuing system).
As this is just a shell, the latter part will not apply but it would still cost you nearly 1500 GBP to get the shell to Liverpool docks ready for you to collect.
Cheaper to buy a shell from a breaker in UK I would think.

Actually Stevo, in that case, I'll find another one through a breaker. But the panels, what is left and how much would it cost.

Also RP update.

Okay, so with some calculation you'll find I sit at 74.69, because I forgot about the conversion rate. Then add earnings and it comes up at 274.69.

Well, I had 324.69£V, but I spent 280 on a 13B, which needs a rebuild. Bought it off Zero, who unfortunately had a car accident, but now has some great parts left.

Added 13 minutes later:

-7.73 for a Bosch battery.

Added 5 minutes later:

That leaves me with a total of 77.04£V. So I'm gonna start measuring up a set of mounts, then fabricating some mounts from some scrap metal (as long as it works, I'm fine with it on this budget).

Added 1 hour 29 minutes later:

After rolling it into my garage...

Opening the hood revealed a empty engine bay, meaning ECUs and such, need to be made or found. Though

If you're wondering how it rolls, there was a crashed Altezza a friend had sitting, and I got some slightly rusty suspension. It's not going to stay there permanently, as that's unsafe. Anyway here it is mounted up, the pictures of the fabrication corrupted, but it just about fits in. Just.

The rear is currently unmodified, but won't be for long.

These are another friends rims, sitting dusty and unused.

More updates coming soon, on the wiring.

Probably. Also at some point it might be swapped out, but until, it's unique. Also yes the filter is small. Working on it.

(Also for some reason I can get flares working for the rear of it, but not the front flares, so body mods are delayed due to scripting).

Added 2 minutes later:

Also different indeed. The Equips might go on soon, so thanks for them Kondzixs. I appreciate it.

Thanks again. (I still can't get my front flares working properly). Also it now runs with the help of 50£V ECU scavenged from a junkyard. And some sketchy wiring.

These were taken when we were diagnosing the issues with the engine.

As soon as it started running, poorly, but running.

I took it for a small bit of drifting on the balled, dry rotted tyres. It went mostly well. Sort of.

There was a really close call with scraping the bumper and completely destroying it.

Parking and sitting at redline it still puffed out large amounts of smoke, billowing from the exhaust and hood.

One last drift. Before the tyres gave up.

Back in the garage, the car sits quite well. The Equips are going on (as soon as someone figures out why the front ones aren't appearing with their model or texure in-game).

Added 1 minute later:

Also, there was a small rebuild, but no new parts were used. So that's why it's running poorly.

No, I mean just taking it apart, putting it back together after checking parts, then refilling fluids. You can see it took a 2 days to do all that, by the night in the physical installation, then the day in the next post of diagnosing visible issues, then night by the time it's actually working. It's technically possible.

Added 3 minutes later:

It's still running really badly though anyway. So next few paychecks and I'll get it properly rebuilt. Also, Zero, how many parts are left of the R34. I may buy some at some point (the chassis for things like strut towers, etc).

Added 23 minutes later:

I have 27.04£V left. Anyone got anything useful for 36.46V$?

How much?

Added 1 hour 51 minutes later:

After a bit of work selling some (in RP) computer components, I got 100£V, giving me a total 136£V, or 185V$.

I spent 30£V on a K&N Pod Air Filter + 5£V Postage.

I've also got my paycheck, again. Giving me another 200£V. Totaling 336.46$V. I've bought another car for 200£V though, for a planned trip to LA, for parts. It's a really beat up EK9 Civic (Any who object to my claim of a £200 Civic, have this; *LINK* and *LINK* which at the time of posting this, are up for £300, and £189) (The car is based of the Turquoise example, as it's got interesting rust and primer).

It's quite good. It just about runs, and doesn't blow up. Yet.

Also I put on the E40s (from Kondzixs) and had some tyres lying around, which fit, but with a bit of stretch. They were put on by a friend at a slightly less professional shop. Also some flares bought for 5£V. With some rust cut away, to fit the wheels and flares. And some new metal sitting on the floor waiting to replace it.

While in the garage for a small bit of an inspection.

Some pictures from when it was parked outside the shop.

A burnout before the end of the day.

Finances;
36.46; After much spending and doing other things.
+100.00; From Selling Computer Components.
+200.00; Paycheck.
-200.00; Civic in pristine-ish condition...
-5.00; A set only the highest quality of flares...
131.46; Total

It's shit. It was designed to be used in offices and currently is 12yrs old and the hdd is slowly dying so that's probably the reason. It also burned my GT440 so now I'm stuck with a 256mb integrated gpu that can't handle 1080p on youtube in fullscreen so I've to watch on cinema mode in 720p :(

Notice on my signature it says EK4. Though in the world of tuning parts, they're the same car.

Added 2 minutes later:

Kondzixs, you should buy another hard drive and re-install windows to that, or drive clone, then move stuff over. That'll sort that issue.

But what do you mean by burned.
