So i have FC3S from FM4. i want to seperate it into parts such as front bumper and such.. Ive put it into a editable poly with all meshes seperated.. Any tips on how to seperate without messing something up

been wondering, Is 500k polys is the limit for SLRR maps? been trying to convert maps fully but the track wizard always got stuck when it reaches 500k.

convert to mesh file, Select faces, then click "detach" on the right

Of course you can put the turbo manifold on the 4A but you'll probably have to change its position a bit. Also you'll need some more meshes and scripts for the turbo, intercooler, etc.

Import using Zmod, export into 3Ds, scale in max by 9850 and so what you want. Then texture and re-export.

No, Shibuya has over 1 million polies IIRC.

Is there a way to completely randomize the generation of cars for racing and the dealers, completely ignoring prevalence set in the car's VT?

Hi! A little question over here, im fixing some stupid errors in my SLRR and making some upgrades and now want to modify 2 things:

1- How the cars appear in the used dealership (Lets say that i want to add the brakes of an Einvagen to a Duhen for example).
2- How the cars appear in the night races (With the same example).

What files should modify? Thanks!

PD: Do you know about any bugs on the original cars of the game? Fixed some of them and dont found nothing but one never know :v

And one more question, lets say that i assemble a car and want to add it to the used car dealership or the night race. Can i like... Copy / Paste what i do searching in the save carpet my car etc, etc, etc?

I want to make the couplers on the intercooler pipes paintable. Problem is they are blue and the pipe and straps are chrome. The only item in the .tex file is chrome. I tried looking thru the textures in the rpk file and could find the id for blue or default_blue anywhere. There is no "blue" in the chrome.png picture to get that color from. Where is this color blue coming from is its not in the .tex file, textures folder, or in the rdb (rpk)? Can a part be exported from 3d with no texture and still have that color?

Well this is a dead giveaway of what I'm doing at the moment, but I'll say more about that on my WIP
So I've got this in-game using an edited version of the Duhen scripts, the only thing changed is the chassis model and the texture (which works, but isn't paintable, but it doesn't matter atm)
The chassis, as you can see, floats above the rest. It's completely zeroed out in Max 5.1 and I'm honestly not sure where the placement is in the main cfg.
So my question is, how do you move it back down again?

If anyone could help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it :D

Export lower based off the comparison between the last two heights, UltimateStance. I had to do the same thing while making the Covet chassis thing.

If that doesn't solve it, try using another mod as a base; rather than the Duhen, something like the Opel Manta 400 by Mike Shinoda, which is what the Covet thing I made is the based off of.

Like where the Duhen originally was (based off the fitment and ride height (height off the ground)). Then move it down relative to the size of the size of an object on the model (fender height, etc). I'd move it down, about the height of the fender.

move ALL the 3d of the car on 3ds max to center or lower and dont use others mods to do a base for your mod, is better use one of the original cars of the game

Fixed! As it turns out the pivot wasn't centered in Max, so I centered it to the object and THEN zeroed all the positions. Now it's in the right place. Thanks for the help anyway :P

And I will use the Duhen, as it has the best wheel fitment without touching anything. I will move them properly though.
