Hello everyone!

Since in my (what, 3 years now?) of being on VS, I didn't do much (except be pretty active on the Car/part search thread)

I decided to try to actually fix some not that great scripted cars (Since i currently am fixing a IROC Camaro that didn't really play nicely with the dealers and stuff)

I will need help from you guys, A LOT of help actually, and i might eventually start making my own stuff.

First off, i still need to script an engine to the IROC, because it doesn't spawn with one.

I wanted to use the LS3, but that failed miserably.

So if Miegalius (not calling only him out, but if someone has ideas on how to help me) would share his techniques how he made the cars work in his 90's pack, i'd be grateful :)

Meanwhile i got another mod completely fixed

It's a FC RX7 (by razine i believe) (didn't spawn with bodyparts, but it worked in the dealer, and it had off-positioned front suspension (still not perfect)(pre-suspension fix picture))

I already have made a fix, it comes with a 13B, mistersir's running gear and has a reworked VT for it to work during career.

List cars and I'll say if I've fixed them?

Ok, Downbeat, I'll do the cars on the list and tell you how to set engines to come stock.

By the way, I would make my own workshop to do this, since I already fix all mods, but I'm to lazy to do create a workshop.

Yeah, I used F.E.R.A.T to help me (basically B.O.R.A.T in reverse) as this car doesn't come with sources

everything is organised as it should

Stock parts where they belong
Tuning parts in Replacement parts
Seats correctly placed

I remember back when I used 2.3.0 I had to have this mod installed.

Didn't update this in a while.

I'm currently trying to retexture Mitch (the driver) because he looks a bit outdated.

Can anyone help me with this (I don't have the greatest artistic skills)?

This is about as outdated as fvck, but nvm.

So, now I'm trying to implement the Car Select menu camera into the Vehicle catalog.

But it's not working as well as I thought.



The camera's a bit too close and personal.

@BB93 I might need some help.


EDIT: The camera is there for a few miliseconds after entering the catalog, and then it disappears.

Added 1 hour 12 minutes later:

I did some more tinkering



Now the cars are a bit too high in the menu, they don't rotate, and not all cars show in the same position.

I need to do some more messing about and it'll be good.

Since you were last here; I fixed the FC RX-7 and it now comes with a 13B, standard RX-7 FC rims, plates and working popup headlights (as in using the popup headlight script).

It also, in stage 1/2 comes with a random body kit and hood.

But in more recent news; I'll investigate into the car select camera; but I'd suggest that it might be something to do with viewports and etc.

I've also done a lot of fixes to the old version of the 240sx mod.

But now a new one's out, with larger issues, I'll get to work.

How about you made it like main menu - with some map (like in BB's) and moving camera instead of car? It should be much easier and better physics wise (aka it wouldn't get broken much with broken mods)

It was over due time to update this.

I have new issues now.

I want to merge 2 S14 mods together (FXD and Robban's)

But the parts are incompatible between them.

What would be the easiest, most hack-ish way to make them compatible?

The RPK's are already merged FYI.



Disclaimer: IF I finish this, it won't be released, due to respecting the mod owners, this is just for my personal satisfaction.
