3/12/17- Switching it up
Hey guys, remember I said I was waiting on some more parts before this car went off to paint? Well, the wait is over!    As you guys know, I love searching though the classifieds section on s2ki.com and other s2000 forums looking for the opportunity to score some sick things for the AP1. Well yesterday I was able to meet up with a gentleman who had a 2002 that was that was at one point in its life heavily modified. The man was looking to sell his ap1, but wanted to revert it back to "as close to stock as possible" and was willing to trade some of his cool stuff with a little cash on top. Always eager, I call the man last night, and set off to the San Francisco to meet up. It was there I was able to get this AP2 bumper and insanely mint condition Mugen lip! not only that, but he had his trunk completely shaved down, with only the keyhole being left. In exchange, I gave him my AP1 bumper, the lip, my non shaved trunk and V$600 on top. You may have also noticed that the sides and the rear bumper were shown some love too. I had the guys over at Green Skip automotive cut me custom "voltex inspired" side diffusers and a custom rear diffuser to wrap up and around my exhaust. Both parts are ABS plastic for flexibility and durability over speedbumps, but wrapped in 3M's carbon fiber automotive wrap to give it a nice finish. In total, these pieces only cost V$350 installed. (p.s.: full lock ftw)  And with that, this car shall soon go off to paint.. that is if I can stop buying things and save the money to do it   |

# Lagano : Paint it like the front bumper! Not anything on the exterior no, but I was able to pick up this sweet Nardi wheel with NRG hub and adapter for V$350, you know I had to slap that on right away!  Also everyone else: I am debating a few colors, right now I am just as eager to find out how it comes out lol Also, I am putting the Daily up for sale, my 2005 BMW M3 (e46). the car has served me well and is fantastic, I just think it may be time for something new. there will be a full write up in the used car classifieds I am looking for about V$11,500 but there is always room for negotiation. Keep in mind that this car is boost ready, as it used to have a supercharger on it. The custom headers, full exhaust, big injectors and high performance intake sill remain on the car. THIS CAR WILL SPIT FLAMES    |

As you may have read, Me along with the rest of the Art of Wheels guys, ThatBoostedGuy, SmokieGun, GoverNick, and Lagano have all taken a trip to the motherland! Shortly after arriving into the country, we were escorted to the Tokyo Speed Devils shop! It was here that we were all given cars to aid in our adventures around the area. I wasn't able to get my camera out and take pictures yet dude to being completely jet lagged, but I will try to get some pictures of the sweet 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo I was granted access too! Back stateside, The bmw sold. Congratulations to David_2709 as he picked the car up for v$9.200 without wheels. I did manage to keep the Enkei's off the m3, so if anyone wants those be sure to make me an offer! Okay so I spent this day of adventure cruising down the C1 as I really wanted to see what this car could do. 1540hp was not a lie.. this thing is blistering fast!  The acceleration of this car is mad. If you so much as sneeze on the gas petal this car will reach speeds of 160kmph like it was nothing! at first I was scared to put the petal to the floor.. but soon I was able to open it up and give it all she had  I don't know if the speed shop is going to get this one back.. I have to drive this more! |

3/23/17- Going into the Shop... and a little surprise!
Now that I am back from the California trip with Phonexius, KeeJay and the gang it was time to pick back up where I left off. The S200 was in dire need of a paint job, as it had become Nissan 240 like with all the missed matched panels. Fortunately, I had a little spare time and dropped it off at Green Slip Automotive in order to get a sweet new paint job. there will be no hints on the color.. you will just have to wait and see  So right now I bet you are thinking, "well Nic, how are you going to get to work if the s2000 is in the shop?" Well I am glad you asked, because while on the trip to Japan I was able to drop by the Auctions and eye a few cars. One that really stood out to me was this very good condition Civic SiR!    Yes I just bought another right hand drive.. BUT this one is actually from the factory lol. This is a 91 year model in the beautiful Granada Black Pearl with the B16A and 5-speed MT. I had been Scouting this car for a few months now actually, just waiting for it to reach the Auction block. And when I finally got to Japan and was able to see it in person I know I had to have it. Its condition is immaculate, especially for a car with just under 100km on the Clock. The Civic is bone stock with the exception of the 16 inch wheels. I believe they are off of a dc2 integra! and the best part about it all is I was able to get this car home for only V$8,900   And when I say home, I do mean my actual home back here in the states. The car arrived yesterday and was cleared by customs at 1:45am this morning. They scanned it for foreign contaminants, checked my Japanese bill of sale, The de-registration title from Japan, ALL my shipping info, my license, proof of where I live and gave me the USA spec registration in order to register it here. A big thank you goes out to Japanese Classics LLC. as they are the cool guys who got this car over here in one piece. After retrieving the car, I drove it right out of the docks and right to the DMV to get registered. I was able to keep my old plates so the Car is actually ready to rock! Can't wait to see the guys face when I pull up in this at work! |

Thank you all for the kind words in regards to my new civic. I have been driving it around for a little now and it is a fantastic daily I will try not to go overboard and mod it to death. Before work I went and checked on the progress on the s2000 and the paint is looking great won't be much longer till she will be home again. At the shop we have some BBS rs301 wheels that I am gonna put on her

4/7/17- Guess who back!
 s2bae is back and dressed in lovely red! I finally got her all one color again and man does she look good. I had to get to take some more shots:   For those want to know, the color is Firepepper Red Pearl of the Acura RSX color wheel lol In addition to picking up my love, I was also offered an excellent offer that I really couldn't refuse. Most of you know that I just recently imported a 91 Civic SiR to the states as a daily. I love the car but to be honest it is very difficult driving the RHD on these US streets every day and I cannot get a break considering the s2k is RHD too. with that being said, I was able to trade the civic for this puppy:    Say hello to my new (to me) 2012 scion FRS lol. Yes I am back into the scion gang this example belonged to a good friend of mine and the Toyota badges on the car are actually from my black one from wayyy long ago! The only modification done to the car are the Nardi wheel and the badges which makes this a cool little to daily to mess about with. She will be modded though.. I already have plans lol Money: |

4/11/17- Monster Truck Update
Hey all, the daily hasn't been much of a daily lately cause I cannot stop driving s2bae. That being said, I did want to splurge and put new wheels on her, but I bought those BBS in 5x144.3 when the FRS is 5x100... SO! I bought these bad boys instead, selling the BBS (v$2,500): Say hello to these Motegi Racing Traklite 2pc wheels! these are in the very aggressive 18x10 -5 setting, but it will make sense later on why... (V$3,500)   I was also fortunate enough to pickup this TRD rear bumper at the local Pull-A-Part for $150, talk about a deal!  I was also able to get some BC Racing BR coilovers for V$900, as they were having a sale along with free shipping! be on the lookout for more updates soon! Looks like all my cars are getting new wheels this week! I had a friend call me up last night looking to switch up his style, so we got together and had a beer or two... started test fitting wheels.. and now I have these!  Say hello to my new Work SEEKER CXs. in 18x9, they are slightly smaller than my previous setup, but there is nothing a quick spacer couldn't fix lol. Update on the FRS tomorrow!

After Speaking with Gready USA, I was finally able to get my V1 kit delivered! It arrived late last night, so this morning me and a few of my friends cut up the ZN6 and installed! The kit lines up perfectly, so tomorrow the car is going to Green Slip for prep and paint! to fill out those massive exhaust holes in my new bumper, I got some random dual exhaust tips welded up too. for a quick job, they look pretty good! 4/24/17- You're back?
Hey guys what's up long time no see haha I have had a crazy work schedule and not enough time to hit you with an update. First off, the ZN6 is back and looking hella nice with the new stonewash grey paint job. Here are some quick pics before leaving work the other day:    I am probably gonna sell her soon... As I have been thinking of a faster, yet more practical daily. hmmm... ... But wait, what about s2bae?? Where is she?? The AP1 is still here, but got an update as well!  I splurged hella hard and picked up this genuine Mugen Hardtop. Yes this is the real deal. In addition, I was able to Contact Evasive motorsports and pick up an Amuse rear bumper! I switched over the F1 style third brake like too from the old bumper just to complete the look. Finally, to put the icing on the cake the AP1 went into the paint booth and got hit with the OEM Lime Green Metallic, an AP2 original color. Fuego! Thanks yeah that hardtop is a hard one to find as with most of the tops that fit the s2k. It is even hard to get an OEM one from Honda themselves! And I am so glad you asked about the new daily, cause here she is:  4/25/17- Oh god.. Not another right hand.. I guess that trip to Japan really did a number on me, because now I cannot keep my hand off these right hand drive cars! I have traded away the rocket bunny FRS for this bad boy, an Electric Blue 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR!  This MR GSR is not a JDM spec vehicle. Much like the s2bae this car is also a Rebuilt title car, meaning someone had seriously smashed it, and another put in some serious wrench time in order to bring it back to life again. In an attempt to squeeze a little more money out of the restoration, The owner decided to go ahead with the RHD swap, making this the perfect car for me haha. This car will not stay stock for long I can just since it already.. Be on the look out for updates.
