What's up guys. My name is Hamid, I'm originally from Bosnia & Herzegovina, and I moved to Osaka, Japan a while ago. With the money I saved I looked after a project to start working on. Home I worked on a couple of cars, my cars and friends cars so I have some expirience with fabricating and mechanical stuff.

So I got myself a 1994 Toyota Supra RZ for 1750V$. Why is it so cheap? Well when you see the pictures you'll know why.

The specs:

-Totally fuckin stock!
-Stock 2JZ in that bish
-A fuckin yellow spare wheel for maximum drift power
-Missing a door (weight reduction hell yea)
-Probably missing a lot of other shit

Finances:
Saved money: 20000V$
- 1750V$ for the Supra
Money left: 18250V$

# Sleepin mOnkey : Looks like sonething great can come out of this

I hope so.
I'm just thinking should I make it a missile, and look for a better car to make it a legit D1 car?

Added 27 minutes later:

Quick update on the Supra

When I was going home, first of all, my front bumper fell off. As I got to my garage, I put some R33 wheels I had laying around. They actually look good on the car.

Anyhoo, I checked the car better, took out the seats to see if theres any bigger rust spots, and just to see what I have to do to it. Some stuff is missing as I have said before.

Shit that is missing:
-Rear taillights
-Differential
-Driveshaft
-And some other shit idk

Eventually, this will be a missile, to make it a proper car there will be just too much work and it would be expensive AF.

Shit I have to do:
-Make a rollcage (safety first, right kids?)
-Get a racing seat
-Get a steering wheel
-Remove interior panels (again, weight reduction)
-Get a turbo kit for the 2J
-Adjust the knuckles
-Drift the shit out of it

Removed the seats:

Anyone wanna buy these kicks?

The bumper fits very nice...

Of course not, just didnt had the time to write details. My friend towed the car to my garage, and thats when the bumper fell off. I bought the car at a local scrapyard tho

I had an old R32 beater, with a SR20 in it. Totally ripped it through Ebisu and the time has come to write it off. It sits somewhere in my backyard picking up rust.

Yeah it just kills the cars. It killed me when I busted the R32, but hey at least I got the Supra now.

What are you going to put in it? Standard SR swap or something more powerful? I'm thinking of selling my 2JZ to put a 2UZ in my Supra. If youre interested.

Yeah that SR has around 220-230 HP but just watch out for the turbo, they can be blown and the repairing cost a shitload.

Weeeeight reduuuuuctiooon

To finish the day off, I removed all the interior panels. Starting from the carpet, door panel, rear panels, trunk carpet, cleaned it all up, vacuum and all that other shit.

So the car has surface rust, which is good, every panel has a bit of surface rust but not huge areas of rust that fuck the car up. Tomorrow I will start working on the rollbar for the car.

I'll order a new drivers seat and a steering wheel.
Also I will order a turbo kit for the 2JZ just to give it a bit more power.

So this is the surface rust I'm talking about

Fuck, shit stinks like hell

But this will be worth the work

Maybe i'll do that. But it takes up a shitload of time to fabricate the brackets

Added 1 minute later:

Yup, I did that this morning. Sandblasted all the interior and luckily there was no major rust problems

Added 11 minutes later:

Sandblast the shit out of the Supra

This morning I went full crazy and sandblasted all the rust from the interior of the car. There was a lot of surface rust but there was no major rust spots that eat up the integrity of the car. Removed all the logos and sold the Panasonic Supra radio for 60V$.

Also, I got myself from a junkyard a door for 120V$, the right rear-view mirror for 30V$ and rear taillight for 75V$. Also I had to get a new battery to start up the car.

When I started the car up, it was loud AF, that's because it doesn't have a exhaust pipe. The turbos are weak, so I can't wait to replace them with a single turbo kit. The turbo kit will arrive today around 2-3PM.

Here's the result of the sandblasting

And this is the ugly yellow door I got

And a pic of the engine, cuz why not

After this, I will start making a rollcage as I bought the tubes yesterday.

Finances
+60V$ Sold the Panasonic Radio
-120V$ Junkyard door
-30V$ Junkyard Rear-view mirror
-70V$ Junkyard taillights
-50V$ New battery
Money left: 18040V$

Cleaning out the 2JZ

Yesterday I have ordered a turbo kit for my 2JZ, it arrived half an hour ago. Before that I did some more detailing on the car. First what I did was fabricate a rollcage for it.

After I installed the rollcage, I started working on the 2JZ. I removed the air filter, the piping and stuff that comes with it. Also removed the exhaust manifold with the CT-12 twin turbos and refurbished the intake manifold.

I went to a local store to buy myself a decent tow hook for the car and I bought a blue spray can to spray the interior where I sandblasted it. I got new distributors for the 2JZ so the car runs a bit smoother. And I removed the front bumper, because it was in bad condition and I'll probably crash it sometime while drifting so fuck it.

Heres the tow hook

The cleaned up 2JZ (still with the turbos and the old intake manifold)

And here are the pics of the rollcage

After lunch and taking a massive dump I'll post pics of the finished turbo setup.

Finances
-150V$ Rollcage tubes and foam
-15V$ Tow hook
-7V$ Blue spray can
-80V$ New distributors
-20V$ Ramen noodles and beef
Taking a dump, priceless
Money left: 17768V$

Bye, bye money

Basically here's where all my money went, okay not all of it but a decent car could be bought with this money... So here's that turbo kit I ordered for the 2JZ. The kit has a single turbo manifold from RPS, turbo piping, Blitz intercooler, Blitz BOV, APexi air filter, HKS oil filter, GReddy oil cooler, and a front strut brace and ofc a giant Garrett turbo.

The turbo spools around 4000RPM, cuz it's hella big. But fuck it, it's worth it.

Here's that gigantic turbo

One more turbo goodness

And I had some time to make a drift style hood

And I removed the right headlight, it wasn't working properly and it will give me airflow to the air filter.

Finances
-2000V$ Garrett turbo
-450V$ RPS exhaust manifold
-550V$ Blitz turbo set (BOV, intercooler, piping)
-130V$ APexi air filter
-150V$ HKS oil filter
-100V$ GReddy oil cooler,
-85V$ Front strut brace
Money left: 14303V$

Tomorrow I'll start modifying the knuckles to get more steer lock and camber. Also tomorrow my seat will arrive from Bride. When I finish that i'll get a exhaust pipe mount it and start drifting.

As you guys know by now, I've formed a team called Osaka Night Kids with Zero and MyNameisJeff. There was some huge progress since the last post from here. The Supra was built, drifted and in the end sold. I had an 180SX, sold that too, and now I own an 1991 Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T.

As the R32 sits in our garage, I wanted to get back to my old home garage where it all started, while still working at the team garage. We have a lot of cars there, so my next car can't fit there. Our team makes good progress, we are building an R34 now, and you can see the progress at our garage.

Anyways, the car I bought for me is an 2000 Nissan Silvia S15. With 190,xxx KM's on the clock, and around 140K on the engine. The engine is what you expect, SR20DET Black Top, making around 290HP due to an HKS air filter.

Me and my team mate Zero went there and took a look for ourselves. All in all the car looks pretty good. It's got the usual wear and tear, but it wasn't abused as it was driven by an older garage shop owner. He wanted 6500V$ for it, but in the end I paid 5700V$.

It's got some good stuff already on there, like:
-Blitz Realize exhaust
-Blitz Technospeed front rims
-Brembo brakes
-HKS air filter
-Koyorad radiator
-No name intercooler

If you ask what I'm planing to do with it, I really don't know. :))

But it would be fun to run a touge one day with these.

And the first thing that I've done to the S15 is slap some sticker I had laying around. You guys be the judge on how it looks :D

I just might remove the rear wing tonight and finish for this day.
