I'll make sure that it doesn't happen. At least the 180 won't be such a pain in the ass, or at least I hope so...

180 is here

This morning my 180SX arrived from the Auction house. Had to pay for towing, because the brake lines are dead. Since it got here, I inspected the car with Zero and MyNameisJeff. The car looks promising. There are just little bits to be done so that the car can be driven daily.

Yesterday I made a huge order at ☆A U T O☆S A L O O N☆ M A G I C K E☆ - Japanese Import and Tuning Specialists, you guys should check them out. Fair prices and parts are in very good condition, anyhoo, I made some orders there for my 180, so I'm just waiting for them to arrive.

First thing today, that we will be doing on the 180 are the brake lines. They should be cheap and easy to fix. After that we will change the brake pads on all 4 wheels.

The biggest surprise was the engine. It runs like a dream. No weird sounds, no blue smoke, idles at around 850-900rpm. It's perfect. Just gonna change the timing belt, and the alternator belt.

Here it is in the garage

Rainbow colour for the win

Notice that the rear bumper is hanging a bit

Fixed it

So the day we started the crew i already had found a project car - this being a Coupe Levin Zenki AE86 and funnily enough it had alrady sprayed a week before in a A70 colourway (think its burgundy of some sort) and the engine ran good for a 1.6 but it did have a rattle coming from the diff and when at speed it clunked so i was very weary of the car being 'legit' but i still spent $2800 on it becuase its 86.

The car is basically rust free apart from a tiny patch under the spare wheel well but its just surface rust i think.
It did have some aftermarket wheels on it before i bought it but if i was to get them i would have to spend $3400 instead so it came on black steelies .
The car has done 120k miles and has been serviced by toyota all its life and has a toyota stamps in the Logbook etc.
Lowered all round because of some Greddy Coils.

It did have a crash before i got it so i didnt have a bumper for a day but i cable tied it in place because the mounting points have magically 'gone'!

We have to change that rusty exhaust and put a Apexi NI legit exhaust. But yeah the car looks pretty good when it arrived. Its gonna be fun working on it.

2 Weeks ago, I went to America to find me a American Muscle Car or, anything useful that we would need at our future Shop in Japan. And When we were flying, i found a Red 1970 El Camino SS, That was Originally a 396 Automatic car, it was Listed for 8500V$ and it has a 454 inside of it right now. It was a project car (Barely) That was missing wheels, Trim and it's interior. But the things it came with were Most of the interior, Bumpers and more. The things that were going for it were, Well it was a Real SS with a swapped 454 in it, and it had all wheel disc brakes, and it was cool!
I haggled him down to 7500V$, and he helped me with putting the interior together and sourcing wheels for it to roll on and he helped tow it to the Port that was going to ship it to Japan. Me and another dude shared costs in a 2 car container. Also i went to some places nearby to get some parts for the truck. The shipping company says my truck will arrive in Japan around 11:00AM on the 7th of April. This is gonna be a sweet Shop Truck!

Now present time... A few hours ago I got picked up by one of Zero's Friends at the airport, in which had a Evo that somehow could tow my main project car and a trailer at the same time. But the project is a, 1994 Mazda RX-7 that was a Ex-Drift car and was owned by one of Zero's Old Drift Pals. I Don't know if Zero would remember the car at all, but right now its a Roller that has no engine and trans. I got that car for 1900V$ and i already love it. My plans are to make my first Drift Missile kinda like how my Big Brother, (Zero) Does his cars... don't know if i should put a 13B Rotary in it or a LS V8.

Hoooly... This looks so good. Id say that we postpone my 180 for now because I need to work on my Supra. Today I worked on it to make it legit for drfting.

So yeah guys i'll help you on your projects.

Added 1 hour 38 minutes later:

After all the cars that got here this morning, I finally found some time to weld a straight pipe exhaust and fine tune the engine. I'd say that my Supra is finally finished. It's drift ready, the turbo setup gave it more power and torque needed for crazy drift action.

I did some diagnostics on the 2JZ. The compression is perfect 8:5:1, torque is 314Nm, and nice 328HP.

Here's the graph and details:

And the straight pipe I welded:

Finances
-60V$ Straight pipe stainless steel
-5V$ Zipties (180SX)
-100V$ Towing for the 180SX
-70V$ Brake lines for the 180SX
-100V$ All 4 brake pads for the 180SX
Money left: 38170V$

Yeah man, but I don't want to abuse it now. Still waiting for the parts from Magicke, and also your parts for the 86.
