Hmm well. I was able to get my hands on a set of Spirit Rei Miyabi fenders, main reason for choosing them is because the fenders are radius'd a little more than stock guards so I can fit these over my wide Meisters without trimming.

Also installed a painted center panel and a black tailight cover over the left light.

$68,755 - $1000 = $67,755

@Phonexius thank you!

@Smokiegun, do you need OEM bumpers or were you looking for aftermarket?

I haven't shown any progress on my S14 lately, but here it is, and it's still two different colours.

Pretty much nothing has changed, besides the fact that I sold the Kouki front along with the Works9 / BN aero combo, and went for a 326power 3D Star kit, and picked up a set of LMGT1's to match the rear. Almost ready for paint!

$67,755 - $3000 = $64,755

Haha mismatch seems to be the norm for S-Chassis anyway.

Anyway, I sold the Cresta and all the parts I bought for it for close to 1,000,000yen, which left me with a lot of spending money since I'm rather financially stable now with a good income. So I decided to splurge a bit and buy something rather new.

These are pictures of the car, 4 years ago. It's an ex Tokyo Auto Salon car, a 2012 Scion FR-S. Yes, a Scion - back when it was brand new, somebody imported a brand new FR-S from the USA instead of buying a domestic GT86, as the Japanese scene was all about copying USDM style (a period of time when people were importing 240SX's instead of buying 180SX's, importing muscle cars, etc). The car hasn't changed much, but I brought the guy down to a fair 1,800,000 yen as the car is an older ZN6 chassis, and I offered to buy it on stock aero and not on those Works. He agreed, and I took delivery of the car today.

The car sits on Parts Shop Max Pro coilovers, which are in fair condition, but I feel will need replacing sooner or later as they have been on the car for years now. The motor is a relatively modified 4U-GSE, with an HKS Hi-Power Spec L exhaust system, HKS GT intake, and an Apexi Power FC controller. A Vertex 10 Star steering wheel with removable hub is equipped and the driver's seat is replaced with a Bride Low Max bucket, my go to choice as of right now. The car has absolutely been spoiling me with its luxuries - its practically a Bentley compared to my 180SX. Excited to see what I feel like doing with this car - like Orion said on Faggot Garage I'm not going to fuck with it too much I hope? But I will end up drifting this and that always goes great.

64,755 + 10,000 - 18,000 = 56,755

@Driftphantom I'm sad you didn't get to give that thing the love it deserved. Fear not though!

I put an asston of stickers on the car, including a D1 Ladies League banner I've had for a long time as jokes. Laid on a spare Cooldown banner but I don't know. May not keep it.

And since the car is 5x114.3 converted, I can fit most wheels from my garage, so the S2000 goes back on stock wheels while I put the 34 stockers on here. Haven't tried on the front but damn!!

180SX update - vinyl had to go, sadly. But I did paint match the whole car, and got matching pink Thrash Racing seats and Ganadors off YJP.

I've been having way too much fun with my ZN6 these few days. I need to put the S2000 back on the ground soon so I will have to hunt for a set of 17 or 18 inch wheels for the FR-S, but in the meantime, Up Garage helped me source these genuine Valenti taillights, and GT-86 headlights. Makes such a huge difference to the car IMO.

Next step, I will address the super low hanging exhaust as it hits the ground far too often.

55,555 - 1200 for all four lights = 54,355

Been having faaar too much fun with the daily. Got it properly registered this time, and not just the plates off my 180SX (which I also got road legal!)

Picked up a spare trunk with a Rocket Bunny V3 lip. Haven't decided if I like it enough to keep since I'm eyeing a Uras wing, but it definitely looks good.

Aaand stickers.

Also a nice front lip and a Scion badge.

54,355 - 700 (trunk) - 200 (lip) = 53,455

Thanks!

Lately I've just been driving my cars more, trying to enjoy them before I tear them down. By this point I've rebuilt my RPS13 so many times that pulling the motor out takes just under 2 hours with friends. So I decided to pull the motor and paint the bay in a pink/purple gradient.

Also test fitted a 326power Man-Ryoku wing off my friend's car, not sure if I like it, will maybe switch to a Uras Monkey Magic wing instead. I've had my 1JZ fun, but I feel the heavy motor is more suited in a car like my S14, so in the coming days, I will be swapping the SR20VET from the S14 back into this car, and the 1JZ into the S14. Speaking of which, the car is nearing completion..

Thanks!

Bright and early this morning, a friend and I hit up the auctions at Yokohama today, eager to see what we could find, as we were told lately there have been some very desirable cars coming through.

And a few hours later, and 400,000yen later, I left with this.

A 1990 Nissan Laurel (C33) Medalist, pre facelift zenki model. This one is luckily equipped with the RB20DET five speed manual combo, the most desirable of the engine choices available. It's got 179xxx km on the clock, and looks to have been one of the examples that hasn't been beaten on by a teenager. I've never had a chance to own a Laurel until now, and I'm unbelievably happy I managed to score this. However, I will need to shuffle some cars around as my garage is getting pretty cramped..

53,705 - 4000 = 49,705

thank you guys!

@Kornis this is an update just for you since you like my ZN6 :P

Several things have been purchased -

Greddy side skirts, 5,000yen
Garson Ryugi (18x9.5j +10 F/18x10.5j +5 R), 24,000yen
Paint match, 500yen
Custom fabricated blast pipes, 8,000yen + labour

Pretty happy with the car so far! Looking into possible boost options, maybe a turbo? Or possibly even do a motor swap, I'm not sure.

180SX has not changed, haven't driven it since the last update. Trying to figure out my fuel cut issue at 7k RPM.

S2000 is my daily driver, now sporting an aggressive Voltex diffuser, very comfortable despite it's ride height and spring rates.

Laurel is currently chilling, doing some things to it at the moment. Getting it registered and getting it dropped.

S14, well, under construction like usual, no pics until I'm done :))

49,305 - 2400 (Wheels) - 500 (skirts) - 5 (paint) - 800 (Exhaust) = 43,600

# GoverningNick : What're your long terms for the Laurel?

I definitely want to drift it (I mean what car do I not want to drift LOL) but for sure I'm going to slam it, throw some good old school 15's on it, and turn up the power on the RB20, and when that blows up, either swap another RB20 in, or go for something a little smaller..

Added 20 seconds later:
