Name: Ryan
Age: 22
Location: Yokohama, Japan (Originally from Rochester, New York)
Occupation: Parts Specialist and Mechanic @ Garage Nine

Hello there guys! I'm sure many of you have seen my old thread so there may be no introduction needed. But just incase, my name is Ryan and I am a member of the drift team "Nine Fiasco"/"Auto Saloon Magicke" and a parts specialist/mechanic at Garage Nine (our shop).

My daily car is a very 90's inspired 1989 Nissan 180sx powered by a big single RB20DET engine.
It is sitting on 17 inch R33 wheels wrapped with Dunlop Dirrezza tires. 326 Coil overs and springs along with custom colorway 326 Pads and Rotors. The body kit is an Origin Racing Line with an ings-r spec wing on the back.

And now for my track car build. a 1993 Nissan 180sx (wow, who didn't see that coming?) It's unfinished right now but here a couple photos of what state it's in.
As you can see, i pretty much have the body and interior complete. Hydraulic handbrake is good to go, shifter is awaiting a motor and transmission, all gauges are ready to be wired in, radio will be removed so if anyone's looking for a nice JVC head unit let me know. The wheels are 15x10 inch Volk TE37's with Toyo Proxy tires. 326 coil overs again but I went with Tein springs instead. Nissan pads and rotors, nothing really fancy. Works9 Front fenders with D-Max 30mm over fenders in the rear. Type-X Skirts and rear bumper. And as you can see I don't have an engine right now, still trying to figure out what I want to put in. Might go big single SR or I might go with something unique and not seen often.

Also, here is a stripped down picture before parts went into paint.

its all about details ! Those horns hah, both cars looking really good, looking forward to see end result of the paint, and also my suggestion would be to put an engine from European car, like bmw or something, they are relatively cheaper and it can take a beating too.

You can also use the Jz series cuz toyota used this on different models But if you go with the european engines ill recomend the 4.4 V8 from the 5 series e39.

I just pulled a 1.5jz from my cream 180 a few months ago to put in the big single RB20. Engine is sitting at the shop so I could drop it in if I really wanted to. I do like the BMW engine idea though!

Quick update guys.
Just got into a wreck with the cream 180, hit and run. Some mom in a mini van wasn't paying attention and slammed into the front of me. Somehow knocked my tail lights out, blew my springs, fucked the front end up, and did some engine damage. Haven't really done a full over look of the damage yet but i'm sure it's not pretty. Not sure my plans are right now.

On the plus side, we put a motor into the other 180, temporary for now but it's something.

Damn, the worst crashes happen when it's not your fault. Hope you can fix it up but if there's too much damage you'll at least have some spare parts for your 180. :)

Been hard at work trying to get the cream 180 back to it's former self.
Right off the bat i'm sure you guys notice the OEM Type-X kit, yes I went back to it, my other kit was way too messed up.
Fully replaced running gear. From control arms, to coils and brakes. Went with 326 shocks with Tein springs and 326 brakes and rotors.
Had to chop off the front TV because it was too jacked up from the accident. Replaced that with a custom fabricated tube front end, as well as the roll cage with full interior. You can ride in the back if you're feeling dicey.
Had to replace the front fenders, luckily I had a few extra sets laying around so I paint matched those on a slow day at the ASM Shop.
Also replaced the DMAX over fenders on the rear with a brand new set, just haven't gotten around to painting those yet.
The R33 wheels were trashed :( so right now I have her sitting on some stock set I had around.
I had to replace the engine as well, which was the hardest part. I've had that RB since my mint 240. So letting that go was pretty hard.
I also threw a new seat and steering wheel in there as well. I'm working with a company that makes custom harness straps and cloth for seats. So it shouldn't look too bland for long.

Not really sure what else there is. Literally just got this thing on wheels and rolling again last night. I have quite a bit still planned as far as fixing everything goes, I just wanted to give you guys and update and let you know that the Cream 180 is still in fact alive!!

So Ben (Phonexius) got a hold of me the other day and said he was in Japan with his crew and wanted to meet up. So I started the cream 180 up and headed to the mall they were posted up at. I also wanted to show off the haggard AVS 6 wheels I picked up as spares.

Once I pulled I immediately found the guys, all in 1000+ hp cars... I knew instantly I was gonna stand out haha.

We all talked for a few hours and the decided to leave the mall and head back to my place to hang out and drink Sake. Not before pissing some people off in the parking lot though.

I'm now considering buying a luxury car, just to flex in.

Sorry I don't have much to update you guys on :( I'll be posting more builds very soon.

(Credit to Ben for the pictures)

So here's my new luxury car.
Just kidding, I bought a Silvia haha. Well most of an 1988 Silvia S13 K's. A Buddy of mine had this project shell sitting around his garage for the past year. He called me up the other day and asked if my Nissan fan-boy self wanted to buy it. V$600 and it was all mine. Only catch was that it's a rolling shell. No windows, no front seats, no rear seats, does have carpet and most interior fabric. Came with an 89' 180sx front end swap, which i immediately took off, adding to the pile of pignose bumpers and 180 fender that I already have. If you want to buy the front end swap just PM me. We can work something out.
It did come with some Lotse steering wheel (same exact one I already have), tein coilovers, stock wheels, and a rocket bunny duck bill wing. Not sure if i'm going to keep any of those, but still haha.

First things to get done to it
326 Overhaul!!!! Shocks, Springs, Rotors and Brakes.
Some bucket seat, maybe 2
Considering a Roll Bar
Source a Silvia front end
Find an engine to put in
And then most likely get everything ready and paint it.
Goal by the end of the month is to have it running and driving. Hopefully.

Thanks guys! Still not sure what engine I plan on putting in this, but I definitely do plan on having it make some power!

Was able to do quite alot to the overall look of the car over the past few days.
I replaced the Lotse steering wheel with a Watanabe Falcon racing wheel.
Bought some rear seats and a hood off a guy for V$150
Also managed to find some windows at a used parts place. V$400 for front, rear, passenger, driver, left and right rear.
Managed to finally put in the Thrash racing seat I bought months ago as well.
*CELL PHONE PICTURE WARNING*

Only managed to get around to replacing the front shocks and springs to 326 power ones. Still plan on doing the rears as well as all four brakes and rotors.
As you can see I also put a very nice set of 15x10 inch AME Mesh wheels
Painted the front engine bay and underneath the wheel wells a fluorescent yellow color to make it stand out a little more, even got the door sills too! You might also notice I did the frame rails black, just because. I also got around to starting a nice two tone paint job on the body today. I still need to do the bumper and front fenders when they come in.
Rolled it out of the garage to show it off a little bit.

Got some new parts in!!!

Finally got the front fenders that I ordered when I first got the car (will most likely be replaced by Rocket Bunny V1 fenders), as well as some JSAI D1 50mm rear over fenders, and a 40 inch CREE LED lightbar.
You probably notice that there's an engine in the car as well. Nothing crazy, just a top mount, big single, red top sr20 that we pulled from one of builds that has been sitting for a while. This is only temporary though (which is why I wont even bother going over the details), as I eventually want to RB or 1.5JZ swap it. Couldn't stand not seeing a heart in this car.
I'm also undecided as to what kind of Aero i want get for the car, which is why the body looks fairly plain right now.

Nothing new other than finally putting the front bumper on. I decided to go with an AERO Replica, ordered it through our shop and it arrived in about 2 days.

Also stopped by the ASM shop for a few hours to put in an order and finally grab my rear 326 coils, now just have to get around to putting them on.
Snuck a picture with one of the 180s we have in.
