Welcome everyone to my storyline RP! This time, I honestly hope I won't abandon it. I'm not going to use V$ because they're honestly very restricting and discouraging for me.
Anyway, without further ado:

CHAPTER 1: A FRESH NEW START (INTRODUCTION)

Hello everyone, my name is Richard and I recently got discharged from a hospital after an accident put an end to my fame and glory in the racing scene.
...
Alright, it wasn't an accident, it was all set up... But that's for another time. Right now I can't just let the people who ruined me just slide away with what they did. I have to get back to the top and end it once and for all.
Right now, the only thing I could afford is this Corolla right here.

It's a little beaten up, but it has a lot of potential. Right now, I have to find a way to get started again. One would say East Valo's highway is the best choice for getting started, and they wouldn't be wrong, especially when you live there and know the highway like the back of your hand. It'll be difficult, but it'll happen eventually.
A tough road lies ahead...

End of Chapter 1

(Also, a small reminder that since this RP is pretty much sticking to a storyline, I won't be pretty responsive to interactions such as meetings. I might make an exception or two, but I'm still unsure.)

CHAPTER 2: OLD MEMORIES ARISE

You might be wondering why I am showing you a picture of the legendary King of Speed on their very own turf, the Eastern Valo highway. I once managed to challenge this guy! Or girl... We never found out their true identity... Anyway, I challenged them! ... Well, I at least got a tiny glimpse of them before eventually getting left in their dust... And this is why I'm bringing up the past. The plan for vengeance is starting, and I'll definitely need help. Thankfully, I still do know some people from my past, people who can provide me with just what I need. They helped me reach the top, and I always made sure to make their names heard, so I am more than sure they'll be glad to help. First up, I decided to head to the only place I know I'll find spare bumpers and such for sure. My friend Jimmy. You see, Jimmy receives crashed cars and strips what's good from them, then recycles the chassis if it ain't usable. If it is, he makes sure it's well kept. Other times, he just keeps crashed cars as they are, and then bring them inside when he's ordered to. Anyway, I called Jim to inform him I'm out of the hospital, and he was more than happy to hear that. He wasn't just as happy when he found out what I drive, but he still offered to help me anyway. He said he had some crashed Corollas laying around, and that he'd bring them in so I myself can go and take what I need off of them.
And so, I drove by his place.

Has been a while since I last came here... In there were resting an Eclipse that was rear-ended badly, a rather rusty A4 Wagon that was crashed to oblivion, and the two Corollas that were resting side by side. The one rear ended quite severely, and the other completely totalled, with only the rear surviving.

According to Jim himself, those two Corollas actually crashed together. The white one was speeding way too much, lost control and crashed into the red one. Crashed in a way that it actually spun away instead of just sticking onto the red one. How the hell this happened nobody knows... Anyway, those two had what I needed. New parts. I stripped them off, and removed my dented parts. Then I fit the ones I got. After some time, the car managed to look like this...

I was pretty satisfied with what I got, so the fact that everything was mismatching weighed nothing against the fact my car was finally dent free!... At least, I think so... Anyway, after all this, I headed home so I can get some rest, eat something and then get on visiting other connections. There's only one person I'm not visiting soon for business, and that is my buddy Jeff. A man who keeps his word, and always values customer services and product quality over sales. He runs a car dealership, both brand new cars and used ones. It's where I got my Corolla from for a low price! So all that is left now is to buy him a beer and we're good.

Later on this day, I'll visit an old friend of mine, a tuning garage owner who's basically the number one location for car tuning. He doesn't know I'm out yet, so a good surprise is always nice! As for now, I'm just going to lie on the bed and nap. Damn I've missed my bed...

So "later on this day" came, and I visited my friend. A mechanic and car parts provider who goes by the name Steve. I stopped just after the garage door, and looked inside.

Everything feels like home here... The purple Celica belongs to him, the Orange-ish Volvo belongs to Miles, another friend, and the red FTO is a customer's car. At first, nobody recognised me because oh boy do a few face marks change your appearance. But once they did, they were more than happy to see me, and we all celebrated it in the garage! It was fun. Steve even gave me a supercharger as a welcome back gift, which we installed on the spot. However, all the fun ended when the FTO's customer came in. He did recognise me, and decided to warn me that the people that took me out found out about me, and they're not happy... The customer suggested I stay incognito for a while. We all looked into each other and started laughing intensely. The customer, completely confused, wonders what's with the laughter. We then all pointed at my car. He got it instantly. There's no way they'll even bother looking inside a "beater" Corolla with a guy whose face is burnt... The first person who found out from them is Rick, a guy so far up his butt that he thinks it's his Challenger or nothing. His driving skills are surprisingly not bad, but who knows how he got on the best team... Now that I have a small upgrade, I believe it's time to try getting back on the road...

CHAPTER 3: BABY STEPS

It's about time I got my butt back on the highway. I decided to target low powered cars. Funny how time changes everything... It used to be all supercars and heavily tuned sports cars, but now? Every single hipster drives on the highway as if they have years of experience. It's sickening to say the least. First target was a BMW blasting crappy dubstep.

I don't know what was worse... The fact that the driver thought he could beat me by over revving every shift, or the fact that the music was so bad that my head hurt? Anyway, I floored it and got next to him. He also stepped on it, over revving all the shifts and causing potential damage in his engine.

We were side by side, not for very long until I eventually pulled on him.

Needless to say that this didn't satisfy me at all. Whatever happened to the highway?! Where's the challenge, the tension?! Even low powered cars could at least give you a brief challenge that lasted at least 3 or five minutes! This lasted less than 1 minute!
Then, there was that joke of a driver who managed to spin out in a Aygo...

After that, there was this guy in an Ibiza who was really desperate at trying. I zoomed past him, and he didn't even manage to stay close for half a minute.

Then lastly, I stumbled upon a Sentra driver who had a racing spoiler. He was the only guy who put up a decent fight. Thankfully, that slightly satisfied me, but still wasn't enough.

That was pretty much it for the day. I grew tired, and returned home for the day. I'll go back to the highway tomorrow, in hopes I'll find a decent fight...

So I went back to the highway, to go sand my car and get a new exhaust. I encountered an old Volvo wagon on the way.

The Volvo put up a good fight, flooring it when I did so too. It was on my tail for quite a long time, and the traffic sort of gave me a slightly hard time. Eventually, he got stuck behind a truck, and I pulled ahead so the race was over. But only later did I realise that this wasn't any Volvo wagon. It was Rolling Guy's shop car, they use it to tow stuff around, like cars, parts, you name it. I attracted attention from a team... I guess that's quite enough?

Rolling Guy is a team consisting of mostly weak cars. They're quite nice guys, and respect the highway and the cars cruising on it. They're pretty much what I need to climb up back to the top. But now, I do have to go back to Steve's garage to get my exhaust upgrade, as well as the sanding of the whole body.

I think racing against that wagon was quite easy, it's not really a racecar, but at least you got some attention from them. But how does that guy with the Challenger know you?

CHAPTER 4: BLIND DATE

Alright, lemme keep this relatively short. I've been absent for 2 weeks and a half, so there have to be changes to the Corolla right?

Damn right! Since last time, the Corolla was sanded, and given a new black colour, as well as a nice looking exhaust. Then, it also got a not rice bodykit, accompanied with red TE-37's. After that, the engine got it's treatment, and now it's running better and faster than ever. Hence the small cooler up front. It already looks twice as good! After some time, I can finally take it back to the streets of Valo!

I went on the highway today, see if there's anything to race against. I encountered a blue Eclipse, bone stock so I thought "Let's kick an ass just for fun"
...

I got obliterated... At first. However, there was a massive traffic jam up ahead, so we both took the same exit. The driver signaled me to follow him, so I thought "Hey, what do I have to lose?"
And so I did follow him.

We stopped outside a cafeteria, one that was familiar to me. The guy who came out was also very familiar as well! It was an old friend of mine, a guy whom I've known for very long, the guy got me into the scene. His name's Luke. But how'd he find out about me? Steve told him. Luke himself had no idea about my whereabouts, but he knew what I was driving so that's how he found me. The Eclipse he's driving isn't any Eclipse. It's his most recent project, it's a sleeper! Explains the reason he won. We sat on the parking lot, had some coffee, talked about old times, good and bad, and told him what happened to my face and such. We both exchanged our new numbers, and are now in touch. We promised a battle at some time. Today was a good day... Until eventually he got to the part where he tells me about the team that made me hit the ditch...

Matt

You might be wondering, "Who the hell is Matt?". Lemme tell you precisely who is Matt. An annoying, self-centered prick who drives his BMW like it's the only thing in the road. He's your typical douche driver, no signals and such, but double up the doucheness by 10 times, and you get Matt. When I said Luke told me about the team that made me hit the ditch, he only told me where Matt is and such. He doesn't really know what happened to the other two members of the team, so that will remain a mystery to both of us... Matt is currently in city, along with Rick... Just when I thought I could race in peace...

CHAPTER 5: VS ROLLING GUY

It's not hard to find a specific opponent, when you know who you're looking for! Every Rolling Guy team member has a sticker on the car itself, so it's kinda easy to figure out who's who. My battle against the team has begun today, and it starts with a race against a Mitsubishi Colt.

The car itself proved to be quite a challenge to beat, it kept up with me for quite some time actually. Being side to side against someone else is bringing back some quite nice memories!

The thundering sounds of our 4 cylinders kept screaming around the highway, until I eventually managed to pull on him. That eventually sealed his defeat, and my first victory against the team! Second if you count the race against the team's shop car...
