# Smurf : Clean Mustang, what are your plans for it?

At the moment nothing yet I couldn't afford a 5.0 but I wanted a Mustang
so the V6 was my best bet
Idk I might do a Turbo or Supercharger install along with brakes and new rims
My main focus is getting a miata as suggested for a Drift car build

Sorry for a late post I got the flu and wasn't able to update anything and I wanted to file my finds
but I'll just cut to the chase :(
here's the skinny I bought a repossessed Miata from a insurance agency where I'm from
for V$ 3000 which is a frigging steal since if I went to any owner upfront would have charge me more

Here's the observations as follows:

103,000 Km
Lady Driven

NA8C 1.8 swapped from a NB

Dented white Left fender

Aftermarket Hard top Roof

A broken rear axle

Pretty Good interior

Stock Rims

2013 Ford Mustang V6 V$25,000

First Things on the agenda:

1. New Steering wheel

2. Get the engine sold

3. New Rims brakes and angle kit

4. SR20 Swap and Turbo kit

5. Racing Seat and paint flash

This is gonna be a difficult build given what has to be done.

What is done so far:

1. V$ 120 Momo Drifters 3-Spoke Steering Wheel

2. Removal of hard top

Any Suggestions:

Honda K Series 2.0
Nissan SR20 (N/A)

Toyota 4A-GZE

I'm buying a SR20 but I'm open for suggestions and how much should

So today was Engine removal day we did get some issues with removing it oil build up and coolant leaks caused a problem but chassis wise theres no rust no damage so that's a plus

Now the Miata is heartless literally and I'm watching its still beating heart :(

So whoever wants a (N/A) NA8C from a NB Miata
it goes for V$ 1150 + Shipping and Delivery
Shipping From Arizona
I've Decided on going with a SR20 Black Top since parts are cheaper and easy to find
a Rotary would be a good idea but I'll stick to a standard piston engine

I got the bay clean and next it's another heart transplant

Next on the list:

Suspension Coilovers
Spacers
Brakes ( Discs, Pads and Calipers
Hydraulic Emergency Brake
Racing seat

Any Suggestions on Kits ?

# EXOTI1CSTANCE : I got 4 scale innovative coilovers if you want them selling them dirt cheap for V$450
I'll take you up on that offer bro

Added 25 minutes later:

Since I've been showing so much love to the Miata I really haven't been updating much about my
discount Mustang , well I got it back from service I needed an oil change and wheel alignment and just a tune up in general
Here's the few things I've done to her lately

First off I got rid off the GT350 rims and traded them in for black 19" RTR HRE Tech Mesh Rims these are legit as fuck and every time I watch them I
*Jeremy Clarkson's Voice* "Squeal like a piggy"
It makes the car look clean ASF.

ALSO

I picked up a 2013 302 Boss Laguna Seca Wing which I got for V$500
Which also makes the car look fast which equals rice. :(

Now I need to add power to make her drive like how she looks.

The Corvette you're seeing in the background belongs to my bestfriend Jermol who is blessed with the superpower of
deep pockets.

So tomorrow is the day my SR20 should be delivered and things can begin
That is if Exotic brings those coilovers in time. :D :D :D

Grunge to Glory: The Rapid Roadster

On paper, the Mazda Miata is admittedly a bit wimpy compared to the other sports cars of it's time. However, due to it's low cost and exceptional out of the box handling, it's a model that has survived to today, and has successfully sold over one million vehicles. As a result, anyone can buy a Miata for stupid cheap prices, but that comes with a catch: Your Miata has to be unique, it has to stand out from it's million brothers and sisters. And, as you can see in the title photo, VFlush has done it magnificently.

One could say my own RX-7 is humble, starting as a ruined non-turbo base model. But, I think VFlush's Miata is closer to true humbleness than my RX-7. After all, it was bought as a repo car from a towing company auction, and was officially broken. Broken as in sheared rear axle, a previous collision, discolored body panels, and an engine swap, another NA8C, but this time from the Miata's younger brother, the NB Miata, or second generation, depending who you ask.

If you happened to read East Bloc Budget, you would know that I'm a major fan of budget, creativity, and uniqueness, while followers of my FC project know that, well, I'm a Mazda fan. So, when VFlush replied to my offer of a feature (Who wouldn't?!), I was ecstatic.

As I always do, let's start from the outside, the front end this time. First, the Miata's OE bumper sports a Garage Vary like lip, followed by custom over fenders extending the car's width by nearly 5 inches on each side. Also, it doesn't take a detective, or even a private investigator to spot the authentic RS Watanabes the car's sitting on, their custom matte white color a shock to purists, and a key color in making the car's hues flow together. Behind the Watanabes are junkyard brakes, which I will not recommend, and a Scale Innovations Coilover and Suspension kit, which seems like a good choice for what VFlush is trying to accomplish with this.

From the rear, we see more of the custom fenders, the riveted theme sending all the right signals, at least in my opinion. They're just as wide as the front fenders, but are nearly twice as long, with the flare starting from the sideskirt and working it's way up and over the arches. Also spotted is a psuedo-ducktail spoiler that came as a dealership option way back when, and the OE like hard top, which is still aftermarket at the end of the day due to it's non-Mazda origins. Finally, we see a large, almost comically oversized, exhaust. But, the question rises, what is powering this Miata?

Well, the answer is simple on a broad outlook: An SR. But, what sets this SR from the others is the fact that this one's non-turbo, and it's use in a fast-car project is pretty unique and unusual at the same time. However, VFlush tells me there's plans for a turbo kit, giving this Miata even more power than it's stock number, which is not bad at all.

All things considered, I'm a huge fan of this car, and it's not just because I have a Mazda of my own. As I stated earlier, this car ticks all of my boxes, and does it in a way that I couldn't even predict, let alone think about ever seeing in person. I'd like to give VFlush thanks for giving me the huge opprotunity to immortalize his Miata, and I'm on the edge of my seat thinking about where it will go in the future. As I close off, I'd like to leave a final photo, which coincidentally is also the last photo I took of the Miata that day, when we were both splitting paths, and he decided to do it in style.

Soooooooo.............

While on work I was searching online for drift events in my area and luckily I found one the Horse Thief Mile at Willow Springs
since I live in Cali its like a 45 minute drive from my house to the raceway so to prepare for this weekends events I bought 4 Back up rims and tires
so I don't fuck up my Watanabes, I splurged a little bit on the fronts which are Work Seeker GXs 16", I bought those cuz Ryan Tuerck uses them on his D1 FRS they cost me V$250 per wheel and I bought 2 for the fronts and for the rear I got Desmond RegaMaster Evos 16" they were cheap as hell got both for a deal of V$100 per wheel I'll admit The car looks good , real good, also since my car got reviewed I think those deal buster brakes were a bad idea so I bought 2 278mm Brembo Discs with 2 Wilwood 4 Piston Calipers for up front for V$1000. Here's Some Pics of the new mods and me Hooning in the mall's parking lot.

Since the Miata is basically finished I thought it was time to spotlight my V6 Stang which has been in the shadows lately
Here's what has been done to the car so far:

19" HRE RTR Techmesh Rims
Laguna Seca 302 Spoiler
Sport Exhaust

Most of the mods have been exterior.

Well I've had my eye on a Legacy RS from a Japanese importer it's been swapped with a JDM EJ20
Full stock slight damage on the right side but it looks decent and it's a Subie and I'm going through a JDM phase
so I want it....BADLY

Cost is like VS 3500

I'm in the process of boosting the Mustang

And nothing is going on with the Miata

So... with all I want to do

V$ 10,000.00

Needs to be put in.

What you think about my choice ?
