	Yeah you can delete it(remember to delete the main menu car too otherwise it'll crash at startup), you must have other car mods installed tho since the game cant start if there isnt at least one car. You will also have to delete your ongoing career and make a new one(you can keep the cars and transfer them to the new save tho). Anyways i doubt the crashes are caused by it.
