I've been around here for a while and have been taking pics for you folks. This was one of the first cars I built with any seriousness. This is a Pontiac G8 that was originally a base V6 sedan, in Liquid Red; I put together an LS7 swap, with that engine putting down about the same as it did stock. Never dyno'd it. Sold it to another owner in AZ (the "HOT ROD" plate is his). My two current cars: a Skyline GT-R R33, locally famous as a 900WHP monster (although I almost never have it up at high boost like that); and a Supra with a slightly tamer 700WHP output. It's taken a lot of money to build both cars - I'd estimate that there's about $150,000 invested in the R33, and there's about $70,000 invested in the Supra. Well worth it. Wouldn't sell either of them for anything that I can imagine. Although... having one car without a back seat and another that's a little scary to drive daily is kind of impractical. The R33. My precious. This is how it sits now. License plate: "R33 900". Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (BCNR33) - 1996 / Series 2 car. About 175,000km (110k miles) on the clock. - One of the few Motorex imported cars - federally legal, and with as solid provenance as you can get with these kinds of things. - Was originally Sonic Silver (KP4); has been repainted Nismo Red (AR1). - Completely stripped down inside and rebuilt, to remove any rust spots or potential problem areas, and to add chassis bracing. - Left hand drive. Still getting used to it, but between that and the Motorex papers, this is as close as anyone is going to get to a genuine "USDM" Skyline R33. Probably doesn't help the resale value, though. - Front and rear bumpers, and front lip, are Nismo. Sideskirts are Top Secret; was going to get Nismo, but the TS ones looked better. Fender flares are by Abflug, with some modifications to make them go on cleaner. Hood is JUN, with AeroCatch latches. - Tarzan G-Box to improve AWD response. I can also put the car in full RWD mode, but it becomes too much of a handful if I do, so I usually don't. - Full R34 rear subframe, and lots of modernized suspension all around. Tein coil-overs. - Endless 6-piston brakes with vented rotors. - Yokohama Advan AVS T5, black, in 19", with Yokohama Advan Neova tires. Engine 2817cc displacement. 11.4:1 compression. 10,000 RPM rev limiter. I regularly wind it up to 9000 or above when driving hard. RB26 N1 block. I would like to have started with a Super GT "RRR" block, but I don't know how I could have gotten one. Nismo 87.0 over-bore Brian Crower "RB29" 79.0mm stroker crank and connecting rods CP Pistons JUN Auto full cylinder head Unknown spec HKS camshafts, probably discontinued. I would have installed V-Cam, but it was too expensive when I built the engine and would have added a layer of complication I didn't need. These are surprisingly smooth at idle. At high boost setting and most aggressive tune, the car makes 900WHP. At a lower state of tune, the car makes more like 450WHP. R34 Getrag gearbox with reinforced gears. Tall final drive ratio. Theoretically, this car can reach 220MPH. I'll probably never know. All I know is that I've nearly gotten in trouble a few times because I couldn't convert from KM/H on the dashboard to MPH in my head quickly enough, and the car gets to really high speeds at an absolutely scary rate at full power. The Supra. This car was one I was less personally involved with building; the local VStanced Garage location did most of the work. License plate: "2JZ LOL". - 1997 USDM car. Bought from a single owner. About 143,000 miles on the clock. - Originally painted Alpine Silver Metallic (very faded). Repainted in Diamond Pearl White. - JUN front bumper / Bomex skirts / Blitz rear bumper / TRD rear spoiler. - Brembo 6-piston brakes with drilled rotors. - BBS LM 18" wheels, gold, with Bridgestone Potenza RE002 tires. Supra Engine 3430cc displacement. 10.0:1 compression. 88mm overbore with Apex'i head gasket Brian Crower 94mm stroker crankshaft and connecting rods JUN Auto / Cosworth high compression pistons JUN Auto complete cylinder head Brian Crower Race camshafts with GReddy cam gears Twin Garrett GT45 turbos At high boost and most aggressive map, car makes 700WHP. At 1.0 bar boost and "street" setup map for pump gas, car makes about 450WHP. Stock V160 transmission and gears, 3.2 final drive rear end for higher top speed. 	My Roleplay Thread Roleplay set roughly in a fictionalized version of Phoenix, Arizona. The time varies, with a lot of flashbacks / stories told through old photos as well as flash forwards to later times, but is intended to be one continuous story. When? : The R33 is a long running work in progress that will be released when it's done, and not a moment sooner. I'm definitely being a perfectionist about this, but I want this to be the mod the community deserves and expects, not merely the latest in a set of stop-gap mods. Will you be making a Mustang 2015 / S550? : Not after the large bunch of other stuff I'm planning to make is all done. Is that your mod in those screenshots? : Is it the Skyline R33, the Audi A5, the Crossfire, the Supra JZA80 (with Bigg Boss93) or one of the ones I've released (like the Mustangs)? If so, yes. If not, probably not; search the GOM and VStanced downloads sections for it. Mustang mod updates? : A new SN95 1995 Mustang mod is planned (the original wasn't mine); a Foxbody remake with LOD0 meshes is in the works, and will include more parts than the original version; and I am preparing updates to the SN95 2000, many of which are finished but not there yet.
