Definitely not! The F-series truck and E-series van motors were all SOHC (except the new F150 Coyote), as well as the Crown Victoria and variants (except the Marauder), the Australian Ford Fairlane, and the Mustang from 1997 to 2010 except Cobra, Mach 1, and Shelby models.
The DOHC variants were in the Mustang Cobra R, the GT500, most of the Lincoln V8 cars and SUVs (including the MkVIII and the early Navigator), the Coyote 5.0L-powered F150, and the Falcon XR8 and FPV models of the BA generation and later. Some recent Ford V8 cars, like the fifth-gen Thunderbird and the Lincoln LS V8, don't use the Modular at all, but use the Jaguar DOHC motor instead. Full list is here. |
