@dxg1997 - I really like the Bolt Reptillia and you did a great job restoring it, especially at a lower level and not a whole lot of cash. Good luck with the Maluch as well!
As I said yesterday, my next project would be a Royale GTR that I picked up from the auctions. Believe me, this car was not easy to obtain and ended up selling for $47,092.00. This set me back a bit so I made a few calls and did a few jobs to get some cash for the restoration.
I stripped her down to the chassis and began working on fixing the parts that came on the car. I was surprised to see that about 75% of the parts actually came out at 100% condition. I sold the junk and then proceeded to purchase all the rest of the parts I need for the restoration.
Once the car was done, I slapped on some aftermarket parts and painted it bright red.
Once the whole car had been completed I did a bit of maths and worked out that the entire restoration cost me $11,868.00 and the car is now going for a sale price of $104,121.00. That's an overall profit of $45,161.00!
I really like how the car turned out so I will be keeping it in my own collection for the time being. I may even respray it a certain shade of yellow and fit some nice black rims to give it a more aggressive look. My next build could be anything! I have been meaning to try and pick up a Royale Crown as it comes turbocharger stock and I would like to work with it's engine. But until then I hope to do a few more client jobs to gather some more all-round experience.
