So a little over a week ago now I sold my 370Z for a good sum of money & needed a fuel efficient car that I could still enjoy and drive daily. I found the car I wanted and it was just around Pudsey so my buddy and I got in my shop truck (not my dually C10, though that thing does need some seat time as well.) I got this S10 and built it quickly under the radar. It's in memory of my old S10 but this is a shop truck on bags. Good fun, it is.

What do you know about laying frame?

So I picked up the new car that's actually quite a sheep in wolves clothing.

This is my 1990 Volkswagen Golf MK2 "GTI" but to call it a GTI would be a lie. This is a TDI model golf, the previous owner has just put some GTI paneling on the car because he liked the look and didn't care much about the fact that this was false. This is the SB series which has a whopping 81 horsepower.

The car ran but needed a quick maintenance before making the long haul back, so we thought it best to take it over to the guys at Vstanced garage who had previously worked on this car and some of mine before. They set it up for me & got me some new rubber instead of the near bald tires the car had when I got it.

We also had some fun at the garage while helping out.

What do you think? The previous owner put some work into the car and I like the style. It needs some work & yes it's static, so I may have to sort that out. I only kind of miss the 370, but I have no need for a daily sports car, I have plenty of race cars.

Do it for the ratchets
