Big update on the C10 Crewcab, got a lot of parts over the past couple days and I'm excited to show them off after having installed them.

First things first, I was hearing some creaking from the rear end while driving around a couple hours after my last post about the C10. Took a closer look and the whole rear drive train was looking a little... sad. So it got pulled out and replaced by a setup from a 1992 Silverado 3500 Dually.

I got new wheels to fit, and now the C10 is a dually (Which is what I originally wanted when I was looking for a crew cab anyway, but they're damn rare.)

Drove with that for a few days and no issues, then I had word on a truck bed in good condition. Only thing is now it would not fit on my truck. I got it anyway, and then immediately got to work measuring and then cutting the fenders. They were cut and then primed so that I could weld on some over fenders, which were actually just C10 stepside fenders that I retro fitted on.

So with that done, I also got some rear tail lights that fit (because it's illegal not to have tail lights :)) ) and then I had someone make a tailgate for my, as I couldn't find an original (besides one in terrible condition). It wasn't perfect so I got some locks for it, which also adds to the Frankenstein vibe the truck is starting to get.

The interior has also been done. Originally only had one bench seat that I got from the truck I bought off Coprone, but I found another one in worse condition and had both of them reupholstered in solid black.

So that's where it's at right now. I'll leave with some pictures of the truck exposed and open to show it off a little more.

I need to get this thing painted (as well as have rust repairs done) in the near future. For now, this is how she sits.

Do it for the ratchets
