Hello everyone. Thought I might as well join in.
So I went to my garage today, only to find my Granddad's Caprice in there.

Dusted and with a mispainted door, he left a note on it:
"Please make it slower. Sincerely, Grandpa"
It's the first time someone's ever asked me to detune his car, but what I was really wondering is how can this thing be fast. Until I open the hood.

He had a racing engine on it! Now I knew why he wanted to detune it. No clue how he got it.
So I was looking around to find a slower engine, until I received a call from my friend. He was cleaning his garage which was filled with random stuff, and he had this disassembled i6 engine sitting around. He said he wanted to give it to me to repay for all the favours I've done for him. I accepted his offer, and brought it home.

After assembling the engine and painting the mispainted door, this is how it looked.

I called my granddad to come pick it up. When he came over, he told me to keep the engine, and he even told me how he got it. He started talking about how he liked racing in his youth, and other stuff.
So now, I had a V8 Engine, and all I need is a car to fit it on.
I called my friend to thank him, and then he slapped right in my face the words:
"I have a Mustang sitting around, thought you might be interested."
Who knows what that dude has in there! So I went to pick that up too.
I got it home, but what I saw after cleaning off the junk that covered it was terrifying... here's what I saw:

He told me he tried to remove some panels. Not really what I had in mind. Door was broken, rear bumper collapsed and fender was well... broken too.
Did a small test to see if the V8 engine fits in

Yes it does! So I started working on it. Until...

Sideskirt fell. So, that's where I started working on it to make it driveable.
Progress pictures coming soon.
(So what do you think? Is it good enough?)
