HAPPY 86 DAY

So some of you remember that I own a white 86 coupe that was repurposed as a shop show car but I never told what changed from the funky supercharged tog ripper to the car that I built to make my shop stand out...

Just a quick recap on its history this 86 was a kind of a barn find that I bought when I got at japan after some minor restoring it was bumped to a 160 hp tog machine that could carve the canyons like a monster ... But it lacked engine power so I installed a custom-built 4A-GZE that made over 350 hp but then the grip was gone so the last time I posted it was sitting like a truck because of the fatties I had thrown into it

First of all the first thing, you Notice is that the car has gone into a massive makeover by receiving a full cage to going for a Na motor and then the everything else...
First of all the Car was changed from a high hp daily to a SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT track monster going from having arround 1000 kgs with the driver to only 850 but you must be asking HOW THE FLYING FUCK did this car lost so much weight.

Well, it all started with a collab build between my Shop and SEIBON who we had started selling. But the asked me to build something to show their brand for the general public so when I came up with de idea of a super lightweight Bolt-On levin they jumped right in and at the next day I already received a full truck with carbon: Doors, Bonnet, Trunk, Fenders, Flares, Spoilers, and Skirts.

Then the car was brought down to the bare metal and fully stitched with over 1000 welds and lots of sheet metal and cage reinforcement but then the wiegt was still too High.

So the next step was to attach the chassis to the ground by a full aluminum billet suspension that I designed focusing on performance and weight but also keeping its original design to keep the spirit of the handling

but a suspension isn't anything without wheels so after scooping for some old school work's I rebuilt them using custom forged barrels and titanium dressing so that I could shave every bit of weight

With chassis and suspension On we Moved to The engine compartment where I got rid of the supercharger since it alone was over 30 kgs and moved to the conventional NA 20v Setup with a custom-built 1.7 Monster that pushes 280 Hp at 11000 RPM's drinking lots of alcohol to keep the detonation away

So after having all the components set up the car was then built to spec for racing with kill switches, Approved seats, and harnesses , Fire extinguishers and all you want but still keeping the style of the carbon and Alcantara and the original carpets to remain a bit of the comfort since it had lost its Ac and everything else that didn't make it go fast.

The exterior was the trickiest part but eventually, we decided to keep almost all the carbon hidden so it remained its looks while leaving it exposed from the inside but only noting it on the accents by the outside that had that old school OEM+ 80's Racecar Look

What can I say more excepts that this build was carefully kept to beeing show to this day as a special surprise for you guys
