I suggest to go with either SR(either DE or DET will do), 3S-GE(or GTE if you're a madman) or C20XE. All are durable and proven engines after all! Especially the SR and C20XE, both has spent their lifetime as F3 and touring car engines, with some national (and world as well for C20XE) titles to their honors. Proven indeed!
Also yay RARE WHEEL GANG! I love how the 316 sits very well on those MK1s, definitely justifying it's rarity status and sky-high price
