Yoooooooooooooo

Long time no news but here is one build that we made in the shop......

This car took us 1 month of intensive hard work with 70% of overtime work and we are still far from done......

So prepare for a long story

There is a lot of people here in bosnia that leave everything behind them and go to foreign countries to work to sustain there families and this is one of those cases. This guy left Bosnia in 2005 to go work in Afghanistan and went trough a lot to achive what he has now..... When he left he was 22 Years old and he left his parents and siblings behind.
Before he went to afghanistan his father and him worked part time at neighbours and some private tirany companies in bosnia and bought a 1985 BMW E30 320i to use as a daily horse.

So now 15 years later he returned from Afghanistan and has achived a lot for him self and his family, but there is one thing which he forgot and that was a car...... He didn't want to buy a newer car he wanted to rebuild that E30 and thats when he heard about this shop and payed a visit with his car.....

He told us his story and said the following : "I do not want a new car, I do not want anything else except this car please can you rebuild it I know its a really long way from decent but please its my first and last car"
How can you say no to that no matter the condition of the vehicle, but we told him that we can not give him an accurate price cause there is a tone of work and that we would call him when we take the car apart to come over see the car for it self and discuss the price....

While in bosnia he did a lot of cheap addon mods to the car like the trunk clips and M3 badge etc.....
When we talked about the style and the way he wants it to look we were told that he loved the way that car behaves and that he wishes to feel the E30 M3 Sport Evo but since that car is way too expencive for him he wants to build the car like it. We told him that we are not replicating cars like that and will never do stuff like that, we can do custom work but we will not replicate any car......
So after a while we decided that we will Widen the car just like the SE E30 is, then add the S54 out of a E46 M3 to get him the power since this engine is a lot newer than the old E30 M3 power plant. We will give him racing susspension to give him a nice and accurate feel, then some nice exhaust system which we are getting custom built at a exhaust genius called "Dugonja". He is a local exhaust expert and there is nobody close to his skills in whole bosnia....

The interior is in pretty decent condition but it is going out since he wants the sporty feel, so if somebody is interested in it PM me or Lagano for price etc...
We took the car apart, saw the condition of the car, called the owner and we had a really really long chat (5h) since the car was in a terrible condition but we took the work and he gave the approval to go for it no matter the cost.........

So here we are 30 days later..........

We took the car apart and realised that the chassis is rotten as s**t, crash damages, fire damage and so on and so on....

The chassis got dipped and then the fun started, from 15th January till 3rd February we were fixing the chassis and we managed to get it straight and clean....Lagano's body work skills improved drasticly since we were working back in 2016 and I am happy for him.....

Right after that we went on making custom overfenders to make the car nice and wide but Lagano suggested to actually pull out the original rear quater pannels 1-1/2IN and then to get the owerfenders on it and so we did.....

On the 7th Feb we were painting every single spot of the chassis and protected it so no more rust hits it ever.
To protect the car from rust we used a car hoist to lift the car and then sprayed the whole car from underneath with bedliner and then from inside as well and after all that we primared the top of the car and started laying some color.

Yestrday all 4 of us jumped on the and installed the whole susspension, and we managed to mounted the engine.

We took some photos of it outside for this update and now we will get back working on the car, we still have 90% of the car to install.

P.S.

Lagano finished installing the wires today and placed the isolation inside but we didn't make the photos but more updates soon.....

Stay tunned and enjoy the photos of the car
