Actually they are horrible..
My mate owned a 206, spun a crank bearing on the highway, so we found a motor at a wreckers, i was at the time employed next to a puegeout dealer and checked the engine code, the engine we found was build with in a week from my mates car, everything should be the same. When we dropped it in there was one plug on the engine that the old one didnt have. Some weird ignition sensor. They build em like they make food, piss drunk and what ever is on the shelves. But agreed, they are cheap and somewhat reliable. They run 14 volts instead of the regular 12 volts every other car manufacturer uses. And then theres the tension rod rear suspension............................................................................... That shit collapses more then my 97 year old grandma. But they know how to make high reving engnines and how to pre treat the chassis for rough weather. |
