PROGRESS Finally got the time to get Project Strawberry Painted! First I drove over to WestKyo to swap over the wheels from the 17 inch TE37s to the 18 inch 911 997.1 Turbo Wheels I had with the car when I bought it, just so I'll have confidence to clear the ramps going up to the paint booth, as well as neglect any over spray on the actual wheels or tires.  Then the Road Trip was on.    I handed the keys over to the guys at Benny's. Should be done next week but I'll be periodically dropping off some stuff to be installed and/or painted while Project Strawberry is dismantled.  And now the daily,  The parts came in so I decided to install them ASAP. First off, Fortune Auto 500 Series Coilovers, straight from the USA. With the added Radial Bearing Upgrade, the price held me back by V$1,404. Worth every penny though.    The morning after, I got my aftermarket wheels installed. Advan Racing TCIIIs! Beautiful Hyper Silver Finish. FK8 Type-R Spec sans the PCD! Fronts are 18x9 +35 while rears are 18x8.5 +35. Cost for the set was V$2,302. These were wrapped in 245/40/18 Advan Neova AD08s, which were V$1,239.28. That brings the cost up to a total of V$3,541.48.     After the wheels, I went straight to VStanced Garage to get my BBK installed. My BBK of choice? Well, I formed connections with the guys at Spoon and Type One (Thanks Osaka Honda Community, and C-REX too), and I got a hold of a special set of PRE-RELEASE SPOON BBKs for the FC/FK Chassis! I got them at a special price of V$2,500! Not a bad deal at all considering these are one of the (if not the) best out there.      Aaaaand that's it for today! It was a very costly transformation but I'm loving it all! You really do get what you pay for. Good thing I've just gotten paid.
