TRAVELLING & CARS!

first off, apologies for being a bit late on this update. fell a bit busy
but well, lets jump right into it

Sooooo a few days ago i was just chilling at the shop with friends and browsing through goo-net. Stumbled upon this thing

An actual Mk3 supra for the equivalent of 4.4k V$ only! Mac and AJ were sitting in front and im like
- YOOOO I JUST FOUND A MK3 SUPRA FOR SALE AT 4.4K!
- (Mac) Mate, who tf added marijuana to your sushi?
- *shoves phone into their face*
- DUDE WTF?

It was clear that they both approved, regardless that it has the 2.0L TT engine and an Automatic gearbox.

Next day, Me and AJ set off to Osaka to actually see if this thing is any good.

C-REX GOES FOR A LONG DRIVE!

On the way, i called up my friend Edin (snn475san). Cuz might as well meet up with friends too if we're travelling to another city.
sure enough, he agreed in an instant!

But ofc, we were still en route. Need to reach Osaka first, then pick up the whip, then meet him

GETTING CLOSE TO THE DESTINATION!

and we actually slipped right past MACKAY
he was in his E36, driving pretty fast. wasnt quick enough to take a pic lmao

And here we are!

We went over and knocked at the door, and a rather chubby, small guy came to us
he says he actually guards this garage that the supra is stored on

We were a bit confused at that point
We asked him more about it and he says the car and the place is owned by a rich businessman
A VERY rich businessman. Said the owner doesnt care about his cars a lot, this ones basically sitting for 3-4weeks now until he decided to sell it for cheap

He said he knew the popup headlights were broken. The lights worked but the motors dont so its jammed up.
THE REST HOWEVER, has to be figured out by us.

The exterior looks to be in okay shape. paint isnt the highest of quality, but its not beaten up or anything.
also examined underneath, no rust.

THE REAL FUN THO, BEGAN IN THE INTERIOR.

i could see why the guard said owner doesnt care about his cars. the interior is an ABSOLUTE SH*THOLE

the parts are all fine. ITS JUST ALL THE DIRT AND NEGLECT.

MEANWHILE IN THE REAR SEATS

Yup. a bottle of Sake. accompanied ofc by rubbish all over the floor

- (AJ) Bro, remember how mac was talking about a bento box full of rotten maki he left in my fridge?
- Yeah? what about it?
- This interior stinks 2x worse bro

We both had a bit of a wheeze afterwards hahah
And we both realized why exactly this thing is going for 4.4k

Well regardless of the stonky interior (at least it has AC), i decided to take it for a test drive

Drives pretty well for what it is. The engine felt a bit rough but an Oil change should fix it

In the end, i liked how it drove. And decided that i'll buy it, regardless of the interior which'll probably be a pain in the ass to clean, Welp, didnt come all this way for nothing xD

Paid the guard for the car, thanked him for his service, and we both took off straight to the meetup

Edin tried to convince us to meet at some backroads, but see, we're both wearing out.
we need food, and rest
SO, where do we meet up?

But i must say, two kanjo themed CRX's parked right next to each other,
is such a pleasant view! (incoming photobomb)

Well then i told Edin to move his car one slot away.
Lets see if she fits in

Supra looks like a damn brute grandpa guarding his granddaughters lmao

Well, after some hearty gossip, some snacks, some coffee, and ofc the photos,
We concluded our very well spent evening. the sun was setting, time to head back to tokyo and get some rest
