Here we go!! My first drift sesh in the Strawberry. WARNING: A lot of photos!!

So I drove to Ebisu Nishi one of these days, and decided to find out how good the Strawberry was at sliding.



First I took a tour of the track, about 3 laps of slow-paced passes.

Then

ATTACK

The track was pretty nice! Smooth turns, tricky but fun elevation changes, and eternal S M O K E

The car performed great! A little on the soft side so there's some body roll but it's fine. Traction is good, the car didn't feel risky at all. Stock 250hp with a Kakimoto Exhaust ain't bad at all! 260+ hp seems fine for the most part. I can link multiple corners but power isn't enough in the high 3rd gear ranges anymore.

On my last lap I decided to fling the car at high speed and do a reverse entry. Not much power, but I got a pretty solid 90 degree entry!

I thought I was gonna spin out, but thank goodness (also thanks to the Wisefab) I got to angle the car back to a controllable drift state.





After one last run, I headed to the new shop we (Niatross, Macaron_Moon, and I) just bought in West Tokyo. Tires were a bit bald already so I couldn't really speed through.

Aaaaaand there I found the parts I ordered. Got them installed right there and then of course. GReddy PRofec E 01 for V$310.00 from Nengun Performance (Was lucky to bag the last one before they ran out of stock, this part was apparently discontinued already!), Genuine Ganador Mirrors (!!!!!) for just V$230 on eBay! Aaaaand OEM Spec R Aero Side Skirts from a local surplus shop for 32,000 yen (V$320).

Yeah, I raised the boost from wastegate pressure (around 0.6 bar) to 1 bar, also lowered the car by an inch all around, for BETTER LOOKS AND STYLE: UP!
