Making ProgressI've spent my free time in the last few days swapping my broke SR20DET with another SR20DE from Saletl. I bought this engine a few days ago for V$900 and also bought some Enkei 92's for V$500 from radcoon. I'm keeping the SR n/a but with a twist, so this car won't be turbo. I had brought the new SR with me from Art of Wheel after one of MACKAY's friends delivered it to me from Osaka. It fit suprisingly well into the ever-reliable Tico. It was relatively simple to swap the SR since its the same engine, so just plug and play. After swapping the engines I put on the Enkeis since the old wheels had slow punctures. Also removed the tails since I have custom white tails from my old 180sx that I bought from Marcus. Now I just have to put the front end back together and it should almost be ready to run. Next up is interior. Money: This post was edited by skip (2018-04-27 20:08, ago) |
