Weight Reduction? I did few more modifications this time. The stock roof was replaced with used genuine Top Secret CF Hood, which was a really rare find and I was really lucky. I paid V$ 2200 for the hood, and it did worth the price. Actually, Korea is quite easy to find some out-of-stock parts than expected. Also, not many people notice that Seibon hoods don't have such details like the genuine ones. I wanted to finish the Supra as genuine as possible, just like me getting Endless Brake sets for quite a steep price. The hood locks came with the CF Hood, and Mr. Lee provided some tools to attach to my Supra. I also polished the rim and got rid of white paint. The metal finish actually still was in my mind, so I took the paint off and polished it. The custom caps were also replaced with original Advan ones. The custom HKS Nardi steering wheels from my 180SX was moved to the Supra, and the original black Nardi went into the 180SX. Also, the 'Peaches' sticker was removed as well. I am considering another sticker replacement in the future. I think roll cages are quite too early for the targa top model. Maybe later I guess... I went to the DMV and replaced the long EU style plates to JP style plates for more suitable look. I still couldn't find enough space for front bumper plates however. Maybe side-mounts? |
