Guys , I have bad news...
The 1J took a shit on me and now it has a hole in the block... Here are some pics :   So , here's what really happened. After my last 2 runs , I decided to let the engine cool down , because it got HELLA hot. 20 minutes later , I decided to get back on the track. I initiated into the first corner and that's where it happened. Here's some drone footage that someone took :    Well , after a little bit of inspection , I came to the conclusion that not only the block has huge hole in it but several other parts have been damaged when I went off the track... The intercooler has a hole in it and the oilpan is really bent. Don't worry , the paint and the body panels are just fine. No scratches at all... My friend helped me tow the car back to Takeshi's shop , we're trying to pull the engine out now. Here's one last pic of the car at the track :  There might be some parts that can be scavanged from the engine. Maybe I'll be able to make some money. I'm really sad that happened , but hey , every fail is an evolution. I will post more when the engine is out of the engine bay , cya guys later... Added 1 hour 21 minutes later: The 1J is finally out.
   Here's a list of parts that are in good condition and can be sold : -Cylinder head ( + camshafts , camshaft bearings , cylinder head cover , intake manifold , fuel rail and throttle ) -Transmission ( + flywheel and clutch ) -OEM twin turbos ( + exhaust header and intercooler piping ) -other small things ( Oil filter , alternator , etc. ) If you're interested in buying any of the items above , give me a PM. I've been thinking on what engine should go into this car , but Takeshi and his friends told me that they may be able to hook me up with a sweet brand new XXXXXXXX. It would be awesome to have something like that in the JZX. I inspected the chassis of the JZX for any other broken parts. Everything seems to be in order. Anyway , I'm gonna go visit a friend in about 1 hour. He told me that he may have some better looking wheels that I can put on the Evo. I'm really stocked.
