BIG UPDATE
( photo heavy post )

-✘ WelL.... Hello everyone, it's been more than three months since I posted something here.. Oops, I was absent, very busy you know.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also I said that I will do write ups and updates when I have free time but never did.. So now we will overview those three months as alooot of things happened and changed.

MAY

-✘ Well.. Here we go boys, first things first. I think it is obvious what I did first when I came back from Tokyo ? Of course I took my Z' for a "spin", it was so good to be able to drive my car again you know. So I filled my gas tank up, called Oscar ( Terroras ) , he took his mighty Silvia and we hit the road, as usual we found ourselves in the middle of nowhere in outskirts of Osaka lol.. Empty quiet abandoned roads without anything lively in sight, just two hooligans "flying" down the narrow roads. Did more than a 200km's that night driving up and down the hills, until my gas light appeared, so we decided to call it a night and return back to our garage.

-✘ The next day I didn't wasted any time and immediately started working on my cars again, so the alignment of Z' suspension followed. With the help of Shao we set everything up perfectly, just the way I wanted. Adjusted camber, caster, damping, height and etc.. The responsiveness and handling of the car increased drastically. Couldn't be happier! Function over form you know. Looking good as hell even without crazy cambers and stuff <3

-✘ So now lets talk about my Cressida.. It was not forgotten too ! ( spoiler alert - ˢʰᵉ ᶦˢ ᵃᶫʳᵉᵃᵈʸ ʳᵘᶰᶰᶦᶰᵍ ᵃˢ ᴵ ᵃᵐ ʷʳᶦᵗᶦᶰᵍ ᵗʰᶦˢ ) So yeah, the next day after I "finished" with my Z' I started with disassembling. Of course with the help of few friends, we managed to strip her in few hours.

-✘ First we took the 18R engine out of her, as it will go to the scrapyard, because it was beyond repairable condition, holes in block, and I already had better plan in mind for replacement.

-✘ Next thing we did we took all fenders n shit off, so in the end it was just a body on wheels.

-✘ Remember when I said I had better idea to replace the engine ? Well here it is, I bought a 1999 Toyota Altezza RS200 with 5th generation 3S-GE Beams engine with manual gearbox as a donor car to my Cressida as I needed engine, independent rear suspension and other suspension bits, so we decided to take everything from Altezza because it is Toyota too and the dimensions of wheelbase was not that much of a difference. I bought it kinda cheap, the car was running and in driving condition, we did some "test" runs wit her too, nothing surprising, but we got what we paid for, but thats not a problem as we will be rebuilding everything. The hardest thing is definitely the suspension swap, but with "some" welding and fabricating shit it will be put in place in no time.

-✘ May 14th I left to Tokyo again and left my Cressida in Shao and his crew hands, so no worries, the work was still in progress all the time. This time I took my Z', It was probably the longest trip my car had seen with me behind the wheel. I was going to visit our Russian friends once again, as they found the "goods" I asked them last time, so I took another few days off and spent them in Tokyo doing random shit again. I stayed at their home and did some work with them, also the reason I came here at first place is to replace my OEM brakes with Brembos, install AEM Cold Air Intakes and Remap my ECU for some power gains, also I needed to bring some parts home. Aand about Brembo calipers, they sourced and rebuild them for me, also painted them red, of course it was not for free as I need few other parts as Discs and pads. So now the car had better stopping power and a lot less fade, once again success.

-✘ As you may noticed they are already working on another E46 they shipped here from Russia.. Yeah the same thing as the last white one, same V10 swap and etc, it seems like that cars are in demand here in Japan haha, nothing surprising.

-✘ After AEM intakes install and ECU remap the car was doing solid 290WHP on dyno, another successful thing installed on my car. Also they invited me to go to Tsukuba Circuit with them, as they and other companies they are working with was having a private track day to test their project cars, but anyone who paid a considerable sum of money was able to drive here too. I was lucky enough to go there for free as I my Z' was listed as one of their project cars. Luckily I always have my racing helmet in my car, so I only needed to borrow other bits of clothing that was needed, but that was not a problem. Pic of my Z' on the way to racetrack.

-✘ Waiting in the pits after inspection, my car got marked with 88 number.

-✘ I am not saying it was my first track day in my life as I have been to few in my old BMW's back in my country, but Tsukuba was definitely the best one so far, I have never been on such amazing and quality track, both thumbs up from me, it was as good as watching Japanese racing "gods" driving on that track haha. Of course I "destroyed" my tires, but that was not a problem as there was Nitto Representatives that day and I was able to get another set of NT05R tires. After some laps I was kinda familiar with the track, you know.. the Gran Turismo days made it easier haha. After some time I was passing and overtaking other similar performance cars, the Z' performed better than I expected. By pushing myself and my car to the limits I managed to lap the track at 1 minute and 5'** seconds which is very impressive I must say. Some photos of me from the track day the photographer emailed me.

-✘ Attacking the apex and "flying" in the straight away. Also loving the picture from the Pit area.

-✘ So yeah, it was time to go home, couldn't be happier about the work guys did to my Z' and the results from Tsukuba. So now back to work.. If anyone is wondering how does the Altezza looks like, here she is, sitting in the corner of shops backyard, all stripped and stuff, will be sold to scrapyard for the price of metal, oops. Who needs it anyway.. Guys already sold the parts that are in demand, so no harm will be done.

-✘ So basically in May, we did a lot of things, upgraded my Z' even more, but most importantly we adapted Altezza's suspension in Cressida, we cut out the rusted places and welded in our fabricated bits to minimize rust, also installed the TEIN FLEX coilovers which I brought from Tokyo, customized control arms for big steering lock, and other bits too, basically prepared the for engine installation, but thats for later, as I will talk about engine in June overview..

-✘ Here is the last photos of my Z' that I took in May before trying to sell her, to end this post, I will do complete budget overview after I will be done with all those monthly updates, because I need to count how much I spent and received, oh most enjoyable thing - Bookkeeping haha. June and July review will probably be posted tomorrow the same time as this one.

-✘ So yep, I will post everything else tomorrow, as today I am already tired n shit, a lot of good things happened so keep an eye open guys. Peace.
