This morning i arrived to our garage with the MX5, the first thing i saw was the LS2 engine which i ordered for 3Style's 180SX 2 days ago. The boys already did some measurements so we made the swap in no time.

There's also a lot of info about LS swaps on the internet so it was pretty easy. :D It's one of the most common swaps but we chose it cause LS is a very reliable engine.

3Style's 180 got a makeover in the interior as well, so a lot of stuff has arrived yesterday: Complete Bride interior, DMax floor mats, short throw shifter and hydraulic handbrake. After we installed the new interior 3Style thought "Why not slap some stickers on the dashboard cause Skip brought tons of them" and so he did.

Before i went to the paint shop to return the pickup and trailer, 3Style gave me the LS2 head covers, air filter and strut bar to paint them red. When we put these parts back on the 180, the engine bay looked much more aggressive!

As i said 3Style and Skip did some measurements when they got the LS2, so they made a straight pipe exhaust before we swapped it in, and it fitted perfectly with the headers.

I don't know if you noticed but the guys painted the chassis and engine bay in bedliner. (paint used for truck beds) This might seem strange but it was a great choice cause this paint really makes the parts tougher. Later on the MX5 will get a respray, maybe the 180SX too but most of the body is alright so we'll see. Also, Phonexius gave me the old plate of his 180, it will look great on Skip's car. :D Nothing new for our AE86 yet, we're still gathering ideas for the build and searching for parts, so this project will take some more time.
