# David_2709 : Bricks for 225 Dollar? Where? Well for one, a 2 hour drive to a junkyard in El Paso to get the right brick and buying a left brick from a guy on craigslist. Dyno DayNow remember when I said the dealership is stock piling cars for an auction well we just got a rare car delivered today, A M3 E46 CSL now this was never sold into the US market so like a GTR it's a pretty rare sight and it's gonna be more rare due to the fact some collector is never gonna let this car see sun light again, but what a view though. Now to the Dyno Day after work I went to get a new tune and get my current power read out, now the turbo is rated at giving 700+ HP but since my engine is still on stock internals and is not "built" I don't want to put to much pressure on it to fuck it up. Currently I'm running boost @10psi from a preset tune from the Haltech just to be safe but that alone is pushing a lot. At N/A I made: Now with 10PSI: A huge gain, the car is even spitting huge fire balls. Now the my mechanic and I took a huge risk and pushed the boost up to 20PSI and luckily the car didn't blow up, THANK GOD it didn't. I'm not gonna risk it and leave it so high until I at least get some pistons I'm not chancing it so I'm leaving it @10psi for now at least I'm making a 75% power gain. |
