And finaly the MK2 is compleat.....It took us a lot of phone calls and web browsing to find the parts mikingo wanted but it payed off big time...

First I will start whit the inside, after few calls to germany and a lot e mails we found a compleat MK4 Golf interior cheap, we though it was a scamm when we saw photos, but the seller told us that the interior was a replica of the R seats for the MK4 Golf.

The interior costed V$750, and it came from Houston, TX the seller delivered them to us.
Also we found a MK4 TDI PD110 engine that was chip tunned some time ago, and it produces around 120KW (The seller said so we still need to check it)
The price of the engine was V$1500

Now to the outside, Mikingo wanted a clean and wide Golf, so we went whit Doulbe lights grill, afthermarket rallye fenders and a lot more which I will list..

We went for the small bumpers whit double stripes, front bumper is EU spec, white indicators, lense headlights, red and white crystal tail lights, hood bra, lights "bad boy" stripe and gti grill stripes, GTD and VW badges.

Also I painted the stripes on the bumper and the GTI stripes in the same color as the rims.

All those parts costed us V$200
Now to the sweet part, VW Golf MK2 Rallye afthermarket fenders, we ordered those from Germany. There is one crew that is creating rare parts. The kit is 90% made of plastic while the places which are conected to the cars body are made out of metal so that the buyers can weld them on. Also we had to cut the fresh painted fenders (Lagano was sceptic about that hehe), we offset the rims, slammed the car, put some nice camber and I took the car for a test drive, it doesn't scrape, the wheels doesn't rub the wheel arches and there is a lot of contact between the rim and the tarmac. The Rallye kit costed us V$500 whit shipping.

Lets just hope that Mikingo wont travel on roads that are packed whit speed bumps

Also, the Chevelles metal work is done and I will primar the car tonight (took mikingos golf to test drive it and also get to the booth to primar the chevelle).
Afther that we are going tomorrow to sand down the R32 and get it ready for a respray (got bored of the black color) Also since I will be busy painting the Chevelle the boiz will be 1 man down and there is a lot of sanding to do on the R32. There are a lot of plans for us and we might even celebrate christmas whit Harrison :P
