(My my, my apologies for not posting in a while! Life caught up and punched my face real hard)

The next race was against a guy in an Alfa Romeo. Wasn't that bad, he was pretty good. Maybe even better than me.

I pulled away pretty easily, but it was only later that I found out that he had transmission problems. He said he was fine with it, and that he was unprepared. He accepted the defeat, and let me move on with the races.

However, right after we finished the battle and just cruised alongside, a 240SX going at a ludicrously dangerous speed lost control!

It crashed on the wall, its parts flew all over, and it also made the green Miata behind it spin and crash!

It flipped on its roof, black smoke emitting from the engine bay. The driver was fine, managed to crawl to the side of the road.

However, a Trueno was slingshotting down the highway, and by the time the driver noticed the flipped car, it was too late...

The Trueno hit the gas tank of the 240SX, spun out and then stopped by slamming onto a wall.
I assume you can guess the outcome of this...

The next day, I decided to drop by the only place where the remains could've gone. And so I went. The cars were there. All written off.
The Trueno was on the stand, the rear end was bashed in, and the front was badly smashed.

The Miata's front was badly destroyed... The engine was probably compressed into one massive wreck that was recycled...

The S13 was totally burnt out. The underbody was pretty dented, not visible in the picture. The engine was fried out, and the whole car has nothing to offer anymore. The driver is thankfully alive.

Moral of the story: Don't drive fast if your car is not capable of staying under control, especially when your tires are not in good condition.
